King Solomon of Israel became the wealthiest man on earth simply because he requested wisdom from God to rule the people of God. He wanted to rule justly but knew he could never do it in his own strength. So he requested help from God by asking for divine wisdom. The Bible records that God was so pleased with Solomon that God added wealth and long life to Solomon's requests. Please, see 1^st Kings Chapter 3 verses 5 to 15.

Solomon was a wise ruler. The classic judgment in the case of the two harlots in 1^st Kings Chapter 3 verses 16 to 28 attest to this. The two harlots contested for the living baby. No one wanted the dead baby and there was no way to prove who owned the dead baby since neither Solomon nor members of his court were in the same room with the two harlots. So rather than just decide on the basis of the flesh, Solomon requested for a sword and asked that the living baby be cut in two. That was the clincher. Solomon had drawn on divine wisdom. No mother watches or allows the death of a child no matter how bad that child is.  Even the mothers of robbers and murderers on death row still plead for clemency how much more the mother of an innocent baby, though a harlot. She must have remembered the nine months of close companionship, labor pains and the joy of the gift of life when her child was born. Her heart bled. She begged the king to spare the life of the child. Rather than kill the child, the king should give the child to the other woman. Though not with her, the life of her child would be spared, the mother of the living baby reasoned. But the careless harlot, oh yes, quite a careless woman that would lie on a baby and snuff life out of that baby. Left to me she should have been sentenced to death for she lacked any bit of compassion. Why would any mother want the death of another woman's child? Having lost her own through carelessness, she also wanted the other woman to lose hers as well. So she urged the king to divide the living baby in two. That was what the king needed. Wise king Solomon already had the answer he was looking for in the utterances and expressions of both women. He gave the living baby to its real mother. That was a landmark case that was broadcast nationally and beyond the shores of Israel by word of mouth.

King Solomon's reputation as a wise king spread like wildfire and in no time, people came from far and near to consult with the king. His divine wisdom brought him much fame and wealth. He did not struggle for global visibility or wealth. People spread the news about him through word of mouth and as the news spread about Solomon's wisdom, people traveled from far and near, laden with gifts and money to hear the Wisdom of Solomon. The Queen of Sheba is a classic example as well as the neighboring kings around Solomon who continuously supplied him gifts and money. Solomon did not do anything laborious other than to share his divine wisdom, his great fear of God with all the people who came to see him.  They also saw the application of this wisdom in Solomon's daily administration and decisions. Indeed, it is not of him that runs or wills but God who shows mercy. Solomon was neither swift nor strong yet nations brought him tributes, gifts and money. Why? Solomon had wisdom. They wanted to hear Solomon's wisdom, which today can be packaged into publications and online resources; they wanted to see and interact with the owner of that wisdom, which can also be packaged into workshops and seminars, consultancies, coaching, speaking engagements. In the process of these interactions, people brought gifts et al to Solomon. Beloved, wisdom is indeed the principal thing. May God in His infinite mercy teach you to request for what is important and also grant you the ability to implement such in your life in Jesus mighty name!

Solomon's wealth was favour wealth. So also was Joseph's, Nehemiah, Esther and Daniel, wealth gotten from walking in the fear of God and not sweating it out on the streets, spilling human blood in exchange for money, joining satanic cults and selling their souls to the devil. These biblical examples alongside many living examples today simply looked unto God for help to serve humanity better. In the process, God blessed them with every other thing required to live godly on planet earth. Many years later, Jesus Christ reiterated this principle when He said to seek first the kingdom of God so that other things can follow. The kingdom of God is divine methods and strategies for improving the quality of lives of people in diverse areas of life. It is not only in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ but also in ensuring that people enjoy their stay on planet earth and bless the name of the Lord. For example, anyone who is able to flood the markets with quality foodstuffs and in the process drives down the cost of food prices will be faithfully and diligently partnering with God to improve the quality of lives of people as there will be quality food on the tables of the poor, thanksgiving to God and consequently good health and greater ability to contribute to development.

Think Strategically

An idea is an expanded thought. This is to say that ideas are thoughts expanded through creative but strategic thinking process that ideally should be dependent on the Holy Spirit. Thoughts expanded to ideas create with the word of God. Schools, businesses, scientific inventions and what have you originated as a thought (s) in the hearts of men and women and over time expanded to the institutions, technologies, innovations, fashion etc that bless humanity today. Therefore, think more, process thoughts, ideas, evaluate and reevaluate them, including the jobs at hand. Review what you do, what has been done and how it can be improved upon.

I am yet to meet or hear of a billionaire who does not think strategically. Billionaires spend hours thinking through issues and challenges to arrive at solutions. Knowing that a man's thoughts make him, billionaires think in line with their goals. They therefore think differently from the average man on the streets.

A brilliant mind that usually pulls out the answers and solutions is a product of clear and positive strategic thinking processes. Thinking as opposed to worry and anxiety is indeed the most difficult work to do. Why? Thinking is billions of miles away from the murky waters of worry and anxiety, divination and guess work. Thinking is detailed and thorough investigation of all available facts, possibilities, impossibilities to arrive at a decision, solution. It may take a second, a few seconds, a minute, a few minutes, hour or hours, day or days, week or weeks, month or months and year or years.

The book is designed to prepare people for walking in financial dominion, a key past time of billionaires and emerging trillionaires.

I do hope and pray that as you read this book, God will open your eyes of understanding to know, understand and master the basics of walking in financial dominion as well as make the distinction between financial resources and money. Money is a byproduct of exchanging accessed productive resources which actually constitute your financial resources. Therefore as individuals, communities, countries and states access productive resources that are readily exchanged for money, their access to money increases and as their money multiplies, it becomes a secondary productive resource that can be used in acquiring other productive resources. According to Brian Sher, money is simply a currency for trading value or benefits – a byproduct of delivering value to people.  If money is a byproduct of exchanged productive resources, then money also belongs to God because God is the Owner of all productive resources. Most importantly, God wants the money in your hands for His own plans and purposes. An ambassador looks the part of the sending country and utilizes the money for the purpose. That is why God wants you to fulfill His purpose for your life so you can walk in financial dominion.

The essence of this is that certain imbibed concepts of money that are inconsistent with these definitions and others that you will come across as you read the book have to change so that you will realize that there is money all around you begging you to manage it. You may not see the money physically at this stage. But take a deep breath; ask yourself some real probing questions. You will suddenly discover that your first need is the word of God to channel the money to you. If you then take the bold step of meeting this primary need by feeding on the word of God, the word will meet your need and give you a vision (the divine idea that will unlock and release the latent financial resources sitting patiently inside of you waiting for that signal). That explains why preachers always say that the vision brings the provision. Does this challenge you to spend quality time in the word of God? Beloved, the word of God does not fail.

Therefore, take ownership of the word of God and birth the financial resources inside of you through activation of the divine seeds in you. This is the opportune time in your life to start irrespective of how old or young you are. Just take advantage of God's opportunities now so you can start and finish with his great harvests, harvests that are greater than any you have ever seen. This is God's wake up call to you to arise out of your present financial state to His own financial state of overflowing abundant financial resources by filling the vacuum He wants you to fill in the society.  You may not have the requisite skills but you can start where you are with what you have. God alone knows how to school you and link you up with all the resources you will ever need. Just trust Him and start.

Money management is distinct from making do with extremely limited resources. It simply means, using money alongside other productive resources to make more money, multiply and compound money for optimal returns and kingdom purposes.

A walk in financial dominion calls for a radical and strategic mental paradigm shift of beliefs, values as well as orientation on the part of whoever passionately desires to walk in financial dominion.  One of the shifts will be to acknowledge God as the Shepherd of one's life in every area of life. The Psalmist in Psalm Chapter 23 says that it takes a Shepherd, divinely shepherding obedient sheep to walk in green pastures (financial dominion). This explains why the Psalmist had everything he needed including the well furnished table prepared for him by God in the presence of his enemies. The Psalmist identifies this Shepherd as Jehovah the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient God, Creator and Owner of the Universe. He created everything there is in heaven and the earth and therefore knows exactly how everything works and will work in response to His commands and utterances coupled with the needs and wants a person will ever need to meet. This is why a walk in financial dominion begins with God and ends in God. He is the only Shepherd who knows the way to the hidden treasures of the heavens and the earth. He is also the One who gives financial intelligence, increase and the power to make wealth. Anyone endowed with great wealth is simply a faithful steward of His overflowing resources described in Psalm Chapter 24 verse 1, Malachi Chapter 3 verse 10, Deuteronomy Chapters 8 verses 1 to 18, 11 verses 7 to 15 and 28 verses 1 to 13.

The power to make wealth refers to the gifts of God in a human being. Such gifts comprise natural talents, skills and divine ideas for making money which I choose to call seeds for sowing that God multiplies to give financial harvests. These seeds on their own do not multiply until they are sown. More importantly, they have to be sown knowledgeably. There is therefore the need for understanding and wisdom to turn the natural talent and divine ideas into a money spinning machine through which a person can walk in financial dominion.  Perhaps the very raw talent will need honing (refining and polishing) which is usually the case and thereafter, it is smooth sailing and maintenance.  However, the challenges of accurate identification of the talent coupled with knowing what to do with the talent in order to bring glory to God and knowing when to launch out with the talent, (that is the opportune time in history and space for maximum effect determines the ability of these seeds to germinate and multiply).  Additionally, knowing how to use and hone the talent through consciously acquired education from formal or informal schooling, personal studying of books, tapes, CDs, documentaries, observation whether at close range or at a distance is very important. So also is mastering the use of the talent so that it becomes second nature. Significantly, having the grace to appreciate the gift of the talent coupled with having the grace to further refine the talent as well as the boldness to allow the gift speak for you through constant use and consistent application of the gift are critically important in ensuring that your  gift becomes a tool for walking in financial dominion.

A wealthy Christian is a powerful enemy against the devil and his cohorts as well as a threat against the kingdom of darkness.

This explains why satan fights to limit Christians from walking in the plans and purposes of God for their lives. A Christian who walks in the plans and purposes of God for his or her life is a wealthy Christian. This is because great wealth lies embedded in the fulfillment of God's plans and purposes in a person’s life.

Additionally, if the devil can make a believer accept the fact that poverty is part of the believer’s cross, then the devil succeeds in limiting that believer from taking bold steps into God's plans and purposes where true wealth lies as the believer is consigned to the satanic lie of 'oh poverty is one of the many crosses I have to bear as a Christian'. So s/he does nothing to challenge financial poverty and suffers all kinds of lack while his/her heavenly abundance lies unclaimed and unused. The devil uses such tactics to limit believers from accessing financial resources and walking in financial dominion as well as through ignorance of what it takes to experience and walk in financial dominion. The devil also colors the truth of divine wealth through lies that Christians have no business being wealthy. Therefore with believers in a constant state of financial lack and insufficiency, the devil leverages on that to pressurize believers to compromise their faith in exchange for meeting their often desperate but very basic financial needs. However, a sharpened understanding of God's plans and purposes for a person’s life equips a person to deal with such issues, face challenges, and confront obstacles, barriers and intimidation in the way of walking in God’s plans and purposes in addition to accessing and walking in God's plans and purposes as well as financial dominion.

Healing the Nations

Excerpts from God Still Heals: By His Stripes You Are Healed by Uyoyou C. Charles-Iyoha

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations. Revelation Chapter 22 verses 1 and 2 KJV.

Just as human beings, animals and plants require healing, so also do nations require healing. At different points in the history of the nation of Israel, God spoke of healing the nation. This is because the nation was suffering from the consequences of turning away from God to idols. This situation is no different today in the lives of the nations

of the world. Greed and idolatry as well as sins of man’s inhumanity to man, shedding of innocent blood, sexual immorality and perversion, assail nations of the world who suffer the consequences in diverse ways – rebellious young people, poor leadership, large scale corruption in about every sphere of life, insecurity, natural disasters, the new wave of terrorism, wars, food insecurity, and diseases that have no identifiable human cure.

In the same way in which individuals receive divine healing in diverse areas of their lives, so also can families receive divine healings in as many areas of their lives as they desire. A feud loving family full of hatred and strife can become a peace loving, promoting family full of the love of Christ and manifesting the fruit of the Spirit. Similarly a family obsessed with greed, covetousness and idolatry can become a giving sharing family serving God in Spirit and in truth. Families long entrenched in the demonic practice of divination and witchcraft can become heroes and heroines of faith in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, God heals and has the power to heal at all levels. Communities and nations are pockets of families who exist together as a group or group of ethnic groups who make up nations and the world. All of these groups irrespective of their religious orientation are accountable to God Almighty, the Creator and Owner of the Universe who created people to exist harmoniously and be a blessing to each other. While a number of people actually make the effort and do try to be a blessing to other people, there are a large number of people who do not see the point in being a blessing to other people. Rather, they choose to be thorns in families, communities, nations and the world. Similarly, one way or the other, members of these communities and nations offend and sin against God thereby causing breaches in the relationship between God and these communities and nations. The Biblical Israel, Nineveh, Assyria, Egypt, Moab, Midian, Philistia, Jericho and Ai are some examples of nations who sinned against God. Israel, in spite of being the chosen race of God sinned against God severally and severed relationship with God. However, God in His infinite mercy, kindness and compassion kept reaching out to them through warnings and rebukes from His Prophets.

The healing of the land occurs when the desolate land becomes fruitful, when national and global economies improve and are buoyant, when insecurity of lives and property give way to security of lives and property. Healing of the nations is when the people’s spirits and minds are regenerated from sin to faith in God, from hatred and all forms of wickedness to love and kindness in the land. Healing of the nations therefore precedes the healing of the land just as the healing of an individual or individuals within the nation precedes the healing of the nations.

Healing Streams

The Man at the Pool in Bethesda

The man at the pool in Bethesda is a case in point. He had and gave excuses as to why he could not be healed rather than ask for healing. That was why in spite of his excuses, Jesus commanded him to rise from the mental inertia and inaction of impossibilities – ‘I have no one to help me to mental action of you can, I can’t to act healed and restored to the community of able bodied men – take up your bed and walk. As soon as his mental faculties (the soul realm) received healing, his physical body also received healing and the man who was physically incapacitated for thirty eight years and could not jump into the pool when the angel came to stir the waters of the pool rose up, picked up his bed and walked home. What a miraculous transformation from mental and physical incapacitation to mental and physical capacitating. God is good and worthy to be praised.

Beloved, words, the right words are then the necessary ingredients for healing in the soul realm. When handling cases of victims of verbal abuse who are depressed or suffer various forms of mental challenges such as inferiority complex, poor self esteem, inability to measure up and deliver on what they are capable of, one of the greatest solutions is to use the word of God to speak to their strengths and the innate possibilities God deposited in them. This is why anyone exercising the healing gifts must be totally dependent on and sensitive to the Holy Spirit in order to apply the right solution. If it is to cast out spirits, if it is to free mental blockades with the word of God that is a two edged sword, if it is to anoint the sick, see a Medical Doctor and use medication, eat the right foods and exercise or if it is to stop sinning as in the following instances of healing by Jesus Christ – the man whose friends brought him through the roof (Matthew Chapter 9 verses 1 to 7, Mark Chapter 1 verses 1 to 10, Luke Chapter  7 verses 37 to 50), the lepers; or exercise of faith as in the woman with the issue of blood, humility as in the cases of the Syro-Phoenician woman who humbled herself before Jesus and her sick daughter was healed (Mark Chapter 5 verses 25 to 34) as well as Naaman who dipped in the Jordan and was cleansed of leprosy.

Jesus Christ employed different healing methodologies. He healed the blind man of Bethsaida using a different methodology. Jesus led the blind man out of town away from what was causing the blindness and spat on his eyes, then placed his hands on the eyes. This is particularly important especially when blindness is not physical. A change of environment is sometimes required to restore vision.  Jesus asked the man if he saw anything. The man replied that he saw men like trees, walking. Now trees do not walk. So if a person’s vision is blurred to the point of seeing men like trees but those same men that look like tress are walking, then there is a huge problem as he would always equate men to trees and since trees do not walk, confusion would set in. Jesus then placed his hands on the man’s eyes a second time and made him look up to the source of sight, vision and direction in life. The Bible records in Mark Chapter 8 verses 25 that the man’s vision was restored and he could see everyone clearly.

Fear, worry, anxiety and low self esteem are disease inducing. They may limit a victim from walking in divine health as fear, worry and anxiety induce diseases such as hypertension, depression which if not well managed can deteriorate to renal failure, stroke, heart diseases and insanity. Please, see Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 1 to 4. The fire, waters and rivers represent the challenges of life that could frighten a person and make the person afraid, worry and anxious. But God cautions against such fear, worry and anxiety in His word. The Bible records three hundred and sixty five instances of fear not, which if eaten daily should drive away any fear designed to cause worry and anxiety. Other negative emotions that induce diseases include anger, greed, hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness, jealousy and envy

One of the most self destructive behaviors anyone can put up is to deny the Lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ over his or her life in addition to trampling on the complete salvation package of faith in Jesus Christ. Apart from robbing a person of the many benefits of salvation, it also denies a person entrance into Christ’s eternity.
