Borrow Many Empty Vessels

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

She was instructed to borrow vessels, specifically empty vessels. Why was she instructed to borrow empty vessels and many empty vessels? The empty vessels were the instruments for packaging the oil which she did not even own then. She could not have owned them because all she had was a jar of oil so she did not even need the vessels then. She had little oil but that same little oil was about to multiply and compound into an oil factory that would produce and package oil for sales, money making, freedom from debt and financial freedom.

Borrow empty vessels. She was asked to borrow the empty vessels because she could not afford them and they were a much needed requirement that would help propel her and her two sons into financial freedom. The empty vessels were required to package the oil and significantly the presence, absence as well as the quantity of empty vessels determined the scope of multiplication and compounding – no empty vessels, no overflow for multiplication and compounding. Remember that the oil stopped flowing when the borrowed empty vessels were filled up (verses 3 to 6).

So she went around her neighbours and everywhere and borrowed many empty vessels – wherever you can get the required platforms to create, to produce what you need to produce at no cost to you. The divine deposits of God in you will multiply and compound beyond your wildest imagination if you have many empty vessels.

Access to Divine Resources

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Divine resources are for divinely assigned tasks or permit me to say divine projects. Divine projects are projects specific to the plans and purposes of God for the common good and accomplishment of His purposes for humanity. The rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem was for the common good of humanity. Ezra and his team as well as the people of Judah and Benjamin who responded to the call of Cyrus to go rebuild the temple in Jerusalem accessed state resources that Cyrus released (Ezra Chapter 6 verses 3 to 4). Also, the gold and silver articles of the house of God which Nebuchadnezzar took from the temple in Jerusalem and brought to Babylon were restored to the people of Judah for onward transmission to Jerusalem for use in the new temple (Ezra Chapter 5 verses 13 to 15, 6 verse 5, 1 verses 1 to 11.

God prepared Cyrus to release the required resources while Ezra and his team were prepared by God to manage the required resources for the accomplishment of divine purposes in the divine timing of God. The Psalmist noted that kings would bring presents to God because of the temple of God at Jerusalem (Psalm 68 verses 29 to 31, 72 verses 10 to 11).

Much later, King Darius gave them additional state resources (Ezra Chapter 6 verses 8 to 14; money from taxes in the region beyond the River for the building of the temple and to be given immediately. King Artaxerxes also gave them access to state resources (Ezra Chapter 7 verses 20 to 24). The priests, Levites, singers, gatekeepers, Nethinims or servants of the house of God were also excluded from any form of taxation, tribute or custom.

Apart from these resources, the people received additional favor from God and their neighbors who also supported the building of the temple with their resources (Ezra Chapter 1 verses 4, 6). Additionally, the people of Judah and Benjamin, beginning with the leadership also gave generously and cheerfully for the rebuilding of the temple (Ezra Chapter 2 verses 68 to 69, Haggai Chapter 1 verses 12 to 15).

A Billion Dollars is Possible

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

A billion dollars is a lot of money. To some people, it takes a lifetime to make such money while to some other people, such money can be made in a twinkle of an eye, from a single transaction or multiple transactions. Unfortunately, there are people who believe that such money cannot be made in several lifetimes not to talk of a single life time. Well there are no several lifetimes as this present lifetime on planet earth is the only life time anyone blessed with life here has to make a billion or more dollars.

The Bible says that with God, all things are possible. Please see Mark Chapter 10 verse 27. God will always make a way where there is no way. You can make a billion dollars or even more because God your Father owns inexhaustible wealth and He has blessed you with the power to make wealth. That power to make wealth is not as a result of your own making or strength as stated in Zechariah Chapter 4 verse 6. That power comes by the Spirit of God Who empowers you and teaches you to make wealth in leaps and bounds (Isaiah Chapters 58 verse 11; 48 verse 17, 1st Corinthians Chapter 2 verses 9 to 16) by giving you divine direction to abundance (Genesis Chapter 26), divine wisdom for abundance at a time of famine (Genesis Chapter 41) as well as destroying satanic yokes and limitations (Isaiah Chapter 10 verse 27). No one makes a billion dollars by personal strength.

The Bible records that “Then Isaac sowed in the land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the LORD blessed him. The man began to prosper and continued prospering until he became very prosperous”. Genesis Chapter 26 verses 12 to 14. What Isaac did was intelligent investing by the Spirit of God. Intelligent investing is not speculation. Speculation is gambling. Intelligent investing is planting seeds in good soil and nurturing same for a great harvest. Speculation on the other hand is scattering seeds so that some fall by the wayside, on thorns, on rocky places. They may or may not grow, grow and may not bear fruit, or just one or two grow and fruit. I pray that God in His infinite mercy will guard your feet and prosper you to continue prospering until you become very wealthy in Jesus mighty name.

Beloved, it is time to discard the impossibility mentality. Explore the possibilities of building big from the scratch. It is possible. Peter cast the net on the right side of the boat as instructed by the Lord Jesus Christ and he caught a multitude of fish that took several men to draw in the catch. That is the right side of the boat that Jesus asked Peter to cast his net on. What was the result? Please, see John Chapter 21.

How to Laugh at Recessions – SHARE

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Recessions are times of insufficient resources when the best course of action would be to hoard whatever resources are at one’s disposal for safe keeping and self preservation for the rainy day. This of course is the world’s system but unfortunately it does not work and has never solved the problem of insufficient resources. This is because insufficient resources that are hoarded remain insufficient resources without anything with which to multiply and compound such resources. But insufficient resources shared end up being multiplied and compounded by God who gave the law of harvests in Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22 and Luke Chapter 6 verse 38. Significantly, this law always works each time it is applied. The widow of Zarephath is a case in point. She shared her supposedly last meal with the Prophet Elijah. God compounded that supposedly last meal and it served them even beyond the famine. They did not experience any form of lack during the period of famine. The widow enjoyed divine abundance through sharing her limited resources.  Please see 1st Kings Chapter 17 verses 1 to 16.

The Prophet Elisha asked his servant to serve the only twenty loaves of barley bread and new ripened grain to one hundred men. To start with, twenty loaves of bread  and whatever quantity of ripened grain they had was grossly insufficient to feed one hundred men but Elisha insisted that the food would not only be enough to feed them but would also be more than enough as they would have left overs. The servant obeyed Elisha and there was indeed left overs. Please see 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 42 to 44.

Beloved, if ever there was a time to share, it is when resources appear insufficient. This is because God usually takes over what appears to be insufficient and compounds them into overflowing abundance. Jesus Christ demonstrated this principle in the feeding of the four thousand and five thousand men besides women and children. What the disciples considered insufficient bread and fish for the multitude (John Chapter 6 verses 5 to 14, Matthew Chapter 15 verses 32 to 38) turned out to be more than sufficient. Twelve baskets were filled with the left overs from the feeding of the five thousand men besides women and children from the supposedly insufficient five loaves of bread and two fishes; while seven baskets were filled to the brim from the left overs from the feeding of the four thousand men besides women and children with the supposedly insufficient seven loaves of bread and a few fishes. God surely knows how and when to multiply and compound resources.

Progressive Financial Increase

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Progressive increase is a function of progressive processes, Isaac planted seed, reaped a hundredfold and God blessed him and he began to prosper, continued prospering until he became very prosperous – he had great number of flocks, herds and servants. Please, see Genesis Chapters 26 verses 12 to 14; 8 verse 22 and Psalm 85 verse 12.

Progressive increase is not a one off activity but a series of progressive processes that birth increases that add up, multiply and compound into progressive increases. God works in diverse and mysterious ways. One of such ways is through progressive processes – the creation of the universe and everything in it was a series of progressive processes. All power belongs to God and it is possible for Him to create everything in an instant yet He chose progressive processes. There must be very significant reasons for doing so. Please see Genesis Chapter 1. Also, the building of Noah’s ark was a series of progressive processes (Genesis Chapter 6). So also was the filling of the ark with living things. Even the flood that destroyed the earth was not instantaneous. It was a series of progressive activities – the breaking up of the fountains of the great deep, the opening up of the windows of heaven and the rain that fell for forty days and forty nights. In like manner the drying up of the earth and reconstruction was also a series of progressive activities. Please see Genesis Chapters 7, 8 and 9. Even the release of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery and bondage was a series of progressive activities that cowed Pharaoh into releasing the Israelites to leave Egypt. The journey through the wilderness to the Promised Land was yet another series of progressive activities.

Progressive increase therefore does not happen in an instant. God promised Abraham descendants as numerous as the sand of the sea. This did not happen in an instant. Over a period of time, the descendants came through Isaac, the child of promise.

Financial increase, fame and power came to Joseph, a descendant of Abraham through a series of progressive activities and events that appeared to be huge obstacles in his path. Eventually, Joseph emerged a global leader, a governor of great wealth and a father of two nations within the nation of Israel.

Do You Desire Inexhaustible Wealth?

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

God is still in the business of making impossibilities possibilities. Please see Luke Chapter 1 verse 37, Mark Chapter 10 verse 27, Jeremiah Chapter 32 verse 27, 17, Daniel Chapter 2, Esther Chapter 7, Exodus Chapter 14, Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 20, Luke Chapter 18 verse 27, and Psalm 62 verse 12.

You need inexhaustible wealth? Then you should answer the question - what can you presently trade in and exchange for wealth?  The widow of the indebted prophet in 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7 traded in a jar of oil for inexhaustible wealth. God compounded a limited resource set aside for domestic purposes – cooking to an unlimited resource for money making activities. God compounded the jar of oil into several vessels of oil because the woman obeyed divine instructions. A woman who had nothing as it were; was in an unpleasant and impossible situation; without any visible means of livelihood suddenly became an oil merchant because God intervened in her situation.

God gave her an endless supply of divine resources – the oil kept flowing as long as she had vessels to fill because the oil was coming from an unlimited overflowing source that never runs out irrespective of economic temperatures in the world. Though the situation the woman and her two sons found themselves in was unpleasant and embarrassing, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, an opportunity masked as problems and challenges that became stepping stones to financial abundance and total freedom from debts. They were never again in debt as their income from the divine surplus of oil resources exceeded their expenditure so that they had more than enough to live on for the rest of their lives. There was no reason to borrow from anyone to live on like their late father and husband did. The situation ended the issue of indebtedness that was fast progressing into a generational issue and debt bondage in their lineage. God reversed the evil to good by replacing financial lack with financial abundance that would last generations. With the flow of oil God ensured financial transformation from indebtedness and lack to financial abundance and overflow.

Celebrate Jubilee

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

It is jubilee and God Who is your shield and exceeding great reward is doing a new thing. He is giving you a brand new beginning and fresh new opportunities. God is just, and He is blessing you out of sequence and order so that you will skip steps in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard the things God has in store for you. You will see excellent and great things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. However, you must remain in His presence.

Therefore, move forward and celebrate; celebrate new things. Do not allow the devil hold you down with the past. Let go of every negative past as they are distractions. Ignore people who use your past to brand you. Proverbs Chapter 24 verse 16, Micah Chapter 7 verses 8 to 10. Break with the past to move forward. Forget the former things. God is faithful and will definitely do new things in your life in Jesus mighty name. Trust God and always move forward because God is always with you. There shall be no more backwards movements and retrogression in Jesus mighty name. Keep moving forward to your desired goals in the plans and purposes of God. It is now progress all the way because that is the will of God for you. God will not give you over to those incensed against you in Jesus mighty name. Do not fear because God has your back covered and when God covers your back, the enemy does not see you to attack you. He is the One who covers your back. Therefore, you must keep looking forward.

KEEP MOVING FORWARD TO WHERE GOD IS TAKING YOU. It is your time of double restoration. All of creation is about to yield the hidden treasures God ordained for you from the foundation of the world (2nd Kings Chapter 13 verse 14). Your timing is in your hands. You are the one who decides to end a vicious cycle. Get up and keep moving. This is the time to acquire assets such as land, houses, shops, malls, cinema centres, and intellectual property. This is an unusual time and unusual people will take it by force. The word of God will restore everything the enemy stole from you. Job’s restoration was accomplished in one day. Chapter 1 was full of negatives but Chapter 42 chronicles multiple restoration of all Job lost. The glory of the latter house shall definitely be greater than the former and affliction shall not arise a second time in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Experience and Enjoy the God of Pleasant Surprises

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Nothing takes the God of pleasant surprises by surprise which is why He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beautiful beginning and glorious end. God always goes ahead of the enemy to safeguard His people.  He is in control of everything in the universe.

He knew that there would arise a Pharaoh determined to annihilate the Jews in a progressively subtle manner. Yet, he allowed the birth of Moses, the one who would lead the children of Israel out of Egypt at a time like that. Moses’ parents would have given up but God gave Jechobed the wisdom to hide him for three months after which He gave her additional wisdom to keep him at the River on a specific day. Why that day? Jechobed was paid to nurse her own child. She utilized the opportunity well. She instructed Moses in the ways of God before taking him to the palace.

God had prepared the heart of Pharaoh’s daughter to see, have compassion on the child, adopt him to save his life and raise him in the same institution that sought to take his life. What an awesome glorious God we serve.

Quite interesting and instructive is the fact that many at times, the devil thinks that God is not with us. But God always knows what the enemy is planning to do and plans ahead of time His mighty deliverance for us. As far as the devil and Pharaoh were concerned, the Israelites were shut in by the wilderness. They took advantage of the situation to strike but unknown to them, God had perfected the perfect exit strategy. Please see Exodus Chapter 14 as well as 1st Corinthians Chapter 2 verse 9.

Haman thought his game of annihilate the Jews was over. But God had gone ahead of Haman long before he conceived his evil plan by placing Esther in the palace.

Organize Your Life to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Organize the pieces of your life together to get the whole God is creating, that whole that is filled with the glory of God. The organization should align with specificity of purpose to enable you focus on divine direction, have clarity to facilitate divinely backed implementation and achievement. Beloved, God is making something beautiful, outstanding, significant, relevant and honorable with your life. Do not give up or give in for you shall be called sought out, a desirable place. You are the City of God’s Delight. To be sought out refers to a place or person or something where people seek because there is something of value in it. The value in this case is the glory of God bestowed on you by God. What is glory? The dictionary refers to glory as praise and worship of God, fame, praise or honor given to somebody because they have achieved something important. It also refers to great beauty, special cause for pride, respect or pleasure. In the book of Haggai Chapter 2 verse 7, it refers to splendor.

God is taking you somewhere big and higher than anything you can ever imagine. It is the place of global recognition and visibility as well as financial Abundance - Isaiah Chapter 54 verses 1 to 5, Job Chapter 8 verse 7.  He is taking you to a land of prosperity, increase, expansion and fruitfulness. Please see Deuteronomy Chapter 28 verses 1 to 14. The promises in this Scripture are against the backdrop of the ones in Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verses 1 to 18, take note of verses and 7 to 9, For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass; and Deuteronomy Chapter 11 verses 8 to 13. A land that God Himself watches over at all times, waters at the right season and ensures a great harvest. See Psalm Chapter 65 verses 9 to 13, Psalms Chapters 1 and 23, Malachi Chapter 3 verses 10 to 12 and Leviticus Chapter 26 verse 5.

There is therefore no need to rush. All you need do is go at His pace, do things the way He would have you do them and trust Him to meet all the seeming pressing needs that bother you. The prophet Elisha gave this instruction to the widow of the indebted prophet “Go (move, act) sell the oil, pay your debts and live on rest”. She was advised by the prophet Elisha to solve the financial crisis first and then manage what she had left so that she would not go into debt again. Always go at the pace of the Holy Spirit for that is when you get it right. Never allow yourself to be stampeded by any one or circumstances. Haste often produces wrong decisions, actions and counsel.

Therefore work with available resources to move from point A to B even if your present available resources  include the Word of God, prayers, faith, prophetic utterances, what you may consider of little value but is indeed of great value. The woman had what she thought and referred to as only a jar of oil. She had no inkling of the economic value and that it could be all she required to get out of debt.

Laugh at Recessions

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians Chapter 4 verse 19; For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9, NKJV.

You can laugh at recessions or what the Bible calls famine by trusting God for divine provision, harvests and expansion in times of famine. This is because the Bible records in the following Scriptures that God will always provide for His own in times of famine. They include Job Chapter 5 verses 20 and 22, Psalm 37 verse 19, Isaiah Chapter 58 verse 11, Ezekiel Chapter 34 verse 29, 36 verses 29 to 30, Genesis Chapter 26, Genesis Chapters 41 to 50. Additionally, God is not the author of famine, hunger, lack, indebtedness and insufficiency. These are circumstances that come upon people as a result of satanic manipulations, attacks and oppressions. God blesses His children with overwhelming abundance and crowns the year with His goodness. Please see Psalm 78 verses 23 to 30, 37 verse 25, 65 verse 11.

There was a famine in Gerar where Isaac lived. The logical option was to leave Gerar for any other place where weather conditions were right for farming. But as Isaac contemplated on this option, God instructed him not to leave Gerar. He obeyed God and planted precious seed in a land experiencing famine and despite the weather conditions and the state of the soil; Isaac’s seed sprouted, flourished and produced abundant harvests because God gave the increase. Please see Genesis Chapter 26. In like manner, He will bless every seed you have planted, will plant to give you abundant harvests, great increase and prosperity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Israel and his family moved to Egypt and enjoyed great abundance and affluence at a time of global famine because God sent Joseph ahead of time to prepare the abundance. Israel and his family did not labor for the abundance they enjoyed. The Egyptians, supervised by Joseph labored for the abundance. Also, Israel and his family did not pay for the abundance. While other nations and even the Egyptians traded in money, livestock and land for food, Israel and his family enjoyed free food on account of Joseph. God Who is rich in mercy will send people ahead of you so that you will experience and enjoy unmerited super natural abundance and expansion even at a time of famine in Jesus mighty name. Please see Genesis Chapters 41 to 47 for a detailed account of how God made abundant provision for Israel in Egypt.

Find the Money 3

To find the money, there are certain limitations and hindrances to money making that you should pay attention to closely in order not to be trapped by them. They include:

}  Refusal to pay tithes and give offerings
This manifest in refusal to tithe, inconsistent tithing, inaccurate tithing, refusal to give offerings, and even when you give, the offerings are stingy. The quality of the tithe (that is the mindset/attitude inn giving the tithe such as this is it, stop disturbing me coupled with the packaging of the tithe as well as presentation are critical determinants of genuine and sincere tithing. Also important is the source of the tithe; is it from the hire of a dog, prostitution, robbery, blood money?

Other forms of limitations and hindrances include outright refusal to support kingdom work (Haggai Chapter 1), consistent disobedience to God, rebellion( Deuteronomy Chapter 28), idolatry (Judges Chapter 7, 1st Kings Chapter 17 and 18), dishonesty (Proverbs Chapter 13 verse 11), idle chatter (Proverbs Chapter 14 verse 22), laziness and frivolity (Proverbs Chapter 6 verses 6 to 11, 20 verses 4 and 13, 24 verses 30 to 34, 12 verse 11, 28 verse 19), giving to the rich and oppressing the poor (Proverbs Chapter 22 verse 16), profligacy (Proverbs Chapter 21 verse 17, 23 verses 20 to 21, 6 verse 26, the prodigal son), haste (Proverbs Chapter 21 verse 5b), overwork (Proverbs Chapter 23 verses 4 to 5).

Do away with hatred as hatred impoverishes. Please see Psalm 89 verse 23, Deuteronomy Chapter 7 verse 15, 1st John Chapters 3 verses 11 to 15; 4 verse 20, Revelation Chapter 21 verse 8, Galatians Chapter 5 verses 19 to 22, Genesis Chapter 27 verse 41 (Esau and Jacob), Genesis Chapter 37 note verses 4 to 5, 8, 11, 19 to 20, 25 to 28 (Joseph and his brothers), 2nd Samuel Chapter 13 verses 15 to 16, 22 to 33, Ezekiel Chapters 35; 36 verse 5, Proverbs Chapter 10 verse 18.

Reject pride and pray against it. Please see Deuteronomy Chapters 6 verses 10 to 13; 8 verse 10 to 18, Ezekiel Chapters 28 verses 1 to 17; 31 verses 1 to 10, Daniel Chapter  4 , 2nd Chronicles Chapters 26 verses 15 to 21; 32 verses 25 to 26, Ezekiel Chapter 16 verses 1 to 15.

Find the Money 2

Be Proactive

The Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary of English defines proactive as “a person or policy controlling a situation by making things happen rather than waiting for things to happen and then reacting  to them. You can be proactive in the following areas:

Time and Timing – What you do with time either enriches or impoverishes you. Time invested in productive action translates to money and other resources that should be wisely managed to generate wealth. Time should not be frittered in idle chatter or sleep. At every point in time, time should be invested.

}  Of what value is time to you? What do you do with time? Please see Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22, 24 verse 11b, Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verses 1 to 8, 11, 17 Proverbs Chapter 10 verse 5, 30 verse 25, Zechariah Chapter 10 verse 1 for how people took advantage of time and invested time.  Spend quality time with God to receive favor and divine ideas; and in your business to know and understand the business.

}  Planning; one of the ways to plan is budgeting (Luke Chapter 14 verses 28 to 32, Matthew Chapter 25 verses 1 to 13). A budget is a financial plan, a road map that helps you manage your income and expenses.

}  Call to action – The servant of Abraham who went to procure a wife for Isaac applied this principle. He made his camels kneel down outside the city by a well. Please see Genesis Chapter 24 verses 11a, 16 to 20.  Joseph also did same when he asked Pharaoh and his court to search for a discerning person that would manage the surplus of the seven years for plentiful harvests to safeguard the impending famine. Please see Genesis Chapter 41 verses 32 to 42. Daniel approached the King to request for more time. The allied army of Israel, Judah and Edom going for war ran out of water in the desert, a wrong place to look for water. Their primary aim was to not to look for water in the desert. It was to fight the Moabites. But water became a challenge. They then went to see the Prophet Elisha who instructed them to make the valley full of ditches despite the fact there was no water in sight. They obeyed and made the valley full of ditches and had water. Please see 2nd Kings Chapter 3 verse 16.

}   Jacob,  King Solomon
