Collect Waste to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

There are several ways of collecting waste – as a trash collector where you have to collect people’s trash for a fee after which you go the whole hog of recycling. On the other hand  you can opt for recycling and still collect what people no longer have use for such as furniture, cookware, electronics, books, toys and what have you and pay a token for them, knowing that you will make a lot of money from what is left after you recycle. You can also beg to collect such items though that is not an option I support as I do not believe in begging.

Waste collection is big business that if well managed generates millions and billions to people who understand the business. As you collect these items, be on the lookout for rare and beautiful treasures. Rarity makes it highly sought after as it places a great demand that cannot be met on it; thereby increasing the value and the price.

Beauty gives aesthetic appeal which further enhances value, desirability and quest for the item or items. Beauty or the aesthetic appeal makes it pleasant and very valuable. It is precious because it is rare and beautiful but difficult to find. That way you make money. But if it is regular stuff that is available everywhere, then you have not collected money stuff.

I for instance love jewelry and have over the years collected simple but beautiful and inexpensive pieces at very little costs. I am not a metal jewelry person but I collect indigenous pieces made from wood, local gemstones and sell at good prices. This has put money in my pocket when the money was urgently required to meet urgent needs.

You can also acquire quality world class jewelry at little cost and they can be traded for good money. For instance, you can collect and invest in jewelry made from wood. Organize jewelry into what you need to wear and what to leave in your heir loom for generational wealth as well as what you need to trade off now to acquire more valuable items that you need now.

There are other items which can be traded for good money.

Look what God has done and is still doing. If God helped me to collect valuable assets even when I was unaware of what I was doing; supposedly ignorant and did not know the value of what I was collecting; then how much more valuable assets will I collect now that by the Holy Spirit of God, I am a little to sufficiently aware of value because the Holy Spirit daily teaches me! Incredible assets; particularly the spiritual assets, and the intangible assets which God is daily translating into huge tangible and immovable assets.

Beloved, start collecting whatever is of interest to you NOW. Get as much information as you can about such items and ensure you collect what is appealing, what is really really beautiful and exciting. You will definitely make money not by might nor by power but by His Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom.

Design Your Way to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.  He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft! “And I have personally appointed Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, to be his assistant. Moreover, I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen so they can make all the things I have commanded you to make: Exodus Chapter 31 verses 1 to 6, NLT.

“The Lord has gifted Bezalel, Aholiab, and the other skilled craftsmen with wisdom and ability to perform any task involved in building the sanctuary. Let them construct and furnish the Tabernacle, just as the Lord has commanded.” So Moses summoned Bezalel and Aholiab and all the others who were specially gifted by the Lord and were eager to get to work.  Moses gave them the materials donated by the people of Israel as sacred offerings for the completion of the sanctuary. But the people continued to bring additional gifts each morning.  Finally the craftsmen who were working on the sanctuary left their work. They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings. Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project. Exodus Chapter 36 verses 1 to 7, NLT.

Then Moses told the people of Israel, “The Lord has specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.  He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft. And the Lord has given both him and Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others. The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers. Exodus Chapter 35 verses 30 to 35, NLT.

A good woman is hard to find,    and worth far more than diamonds. Her husband trusts her without reserve,    and never has reason to regret it. Never spiteful, she treats him generously all her life long. She shops around for the best yarns and cottons, and enjoys knitting and sewing.  She’s like a trading ship that sails to faraway places and brings back exotic surprises. She’s up before dawn, preparing breakfast for her family and organizing her day. She looks over a field and buys it, then, with money she’s put aside, plants a garden. First thing in the morning, she dresses for work, rolls up her sleeves, eager to get started. She senses the worth of her work, is in no hurry to call it quits for the day. She’s skilled in the crafts of home and hearth, diligent in homemaking. She’s quick to assist anyone in need, reaches out to help the poor. She doesn’t worry about her family when it snows; their winter clothes are all mended and ready to wear. She makes her own clothing, and dresses in colorful linens and silks. Her husband is greatly respected when he deliberates with the city fathers. She designs gowns and sells them, brings the sweaters she knits to the dress shops. Her clothes are well-made and elegant, and she always faces tomorrow with a smile. When she speaks she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly. She keeps an eye on everyone in her household,    and keeps them all busy and productive. Her children respect and bless her;    her husband joins in with words of praise: “Many women have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God. Give her everything she deserves! Adorn her life with praises! Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31.

Create a Product/Service

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The unnamed virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 is indeed an amazon when it comes to entrepreneurship. Deploying skills which about every woman acquired as girls (sewing and knitting) she became a garment and accessories manufacturer, an enterprise from which she made sufficient money to buy land to plant a vineyard. In essence, she diversified her business – she ventured into agriculture – planting and processing. She planted the vineyard to source raw materials with which to produce wine.

Beloved, I suggest that you read and study Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31 for insight into how this very diligent and very well organized woman conducted her business – the sourcing of the materials for the garment industry, the choice of quality materials, the marketing and sales of her products, the organization of her workers and her own personal discipline.

King Solomon became extremely wealthy not just because he was King in Israel but because he deployed his God given wisdom to profit. He traded the wisdom in great measure for money – 1st Kings Chapters 3 verse 12; 4 verses 29 to 34; 10 verses 24 to 29, 2nd Chronicles Chapter 9 verses 23 to 24. He also engaged in other businesses which increased his wealth.

Lady Lydia sold purple and made good money from doing so. She supported the work of the kingdom with her resources. Please read Acts Chapter 16 verses 13 to 15. If she was like the idle women described in 1st Timothy Chapter 5 verses 11 to 15, she would not have money to support herself not to talk of supporting the preaching of the gospel.

The widow of the indebted prophet paid off a family debt that would have culminated in debt slavery for her two sons by bottling oil and selling the packaged oil. With a product as simple as oil packaged into the right vessels and marketed and sold to the right audience, she put an end to a family history of indebtedness, borrowing, begging and lack. She rewrote the family history bringing in positivity and obliterating negativity. She chose to obey God – work with her hands and she earned income. She refused to pile on fresh debt or take to begging. As she, alongside her two sons worked (which is biblical – 1st Thessalonians Chapter 4 verses 11 to 12, 2nd Thessalonians Chapter 3 verses 6 to 15, Deuteronomy Chapters 28 verses 8, 11 to 13; 24 verse 19; 23 verse 20; 11 verses 8 to 15, Ecclesiastes Chapter 9 verse 10, Proverbs Chapters 19 verse 15, 20 verse 4 and 14 verse 23), the money which had hitherto elude the family came into their hands and they not only became debt free, they also had personal income to live on. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7.

Rick Warren wrote and published great life transforming books and made good money from them. Don Moen sang great songs celebrating the greatness of God in the land of the living. Bishop T.D. Jakes has a good number of books and other materials through which he makes money.

Step Out of Confinement 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Beloved, your abundance may just be around the corner and you are busy searching for it in the stratosphere wishing you could get help from the world when all you need is to just DARE, DARE to step out of your supposed comfort zone into that which terrifies you so that you take what rightly belongs to you without any stress, without any pressure, without any intimidation from anyone because God to Whom all power belongs has taken care of the opposition you dread.

So why don’t you rise confidently now and take that which belongs to you? May God in His infinite power send you all the help you need; ahead of you, now and forever in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

God is always able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ever need in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Believe Him, trust Him and follow His leading carefully in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You will not fail, you will not stumble in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Remember that the sword which David used in cutting off the head of Goliath did not come from the stratosphere. It was within easy reach, by the side of the fallen Goliath; Goliath’s own sword which came down with Goliath. David had no sword, only a sling and his five smooth stones. But when it became necessary to deploy a sword, he used Goliath’s oversized sword and did what he had to do with the sword.  Beloved, ask God to open your eyes of understanding to the opportunities around you for you to harvest abundant resources.

The three allied nations against Judah were not attacked by heavenly beings as in the case of the army of Sennecherib. They were the ones who used their personal resources and weapons to attack and kill one another until the very last man of them was eliminated. The Judeans praised God and looked on as the three allied nations who had threatened to destroy the Judeans destroyed one another. And as a bonus, the Judeans harvested the great booty of war left by the three allied armies. Significantly, the carting of the loot by the Judeans took three days. This shows how great the loot was. What was originally scripted as destruction of the Judeans by the three allied armies turned out to be the enrichment of the Judeans. It also was an opportunity for their faith in God to be strengthened more than the ordinary for they saw with their own eyes the destruction of the wicked and the sudden transfer of the wealth of the wicked to the children of Judah.

Step Out of Confinement

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Take on your enemies. Challenge your oppressor, break the siege, dare your oppressor.

The people of Samaria suffered the consequences of an unnecessary famine which unfortunately had progressed to cannibalism as some of the citizens of Samaria had taken to eating their children. Apart from being enraged, the King of Samaria was also depressed when he heard about it. Unfortunately, he also acted like the people of Samaria. How? Rather than talk to God about the situation, he threatened to remove the head of the prophet Elisha as if that would put an end to the famine.

But Elisha who heard the threat of the King by the Spirit of God in his house acted by the Spirit of God and spoke abundant food resources into existence. Elisha prophesied abundance, not in a year’s time, not in a month’s time, not in a week’s time; but the following day. How do you suddenly contain a famine which had raged on for some time the following day when you had not ordered food resources from people or nations who had the military prowess to subdue the Syrian army who had successfully laid the siege against Israel which of course culminated in the famine? This probably explains why the official of the King despised the prophecy of Elisha about the sudden abundance of food resources the following day.

But unknown to the official of the King, God’s ways are not the ways of man. To start with, God created the entire world and the heavens and therefore owns everything; and because all power belongs to Him alone, He can do whatever He likes with that power; usually for the benefit of His children who cry to Him for help; who believe in Him and trust in Him to help them. So just across the road, between the securely locked gates of Samaria and the camp of the Syrian was the abundance; quite significant and instructive, a great abundance of not only food resources, money, clothing and you name it; waiting patiently for the people of Samaria to have as much as they required. But the people of Samaria were already cowed into hiding by the threats of the Syrian army. So they could not dare across the road into that abundance.

So they starved and the ones who could no longer bear the hunger ate up their children. But four young men, lepers who begged for a living at the gates of Samaria became very hungry and dared to go beyond the gates of Samaria to the camp of the Syrian army. Perhaps, it was the gnawing hunger or just the boldness to dare. But whatever it was, they dared and in daring they discovered the abundant resources God had in stock for the people of Samaria. The abundant food and other resources were not in the stratosphere, were not miles away but within easy reach; just across the road.

Open Your Eyes 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Open your eyes to see the enlarged territories God has for you. Jacob dreamt while serving in the house of Laban. What Jacob saw in this dream is very important as it impacted his life in Haran. How? He did not settle for less; serving Laban all the days of his life as Laban had thought when he kept stringing Jacob along.

Unknown to Laban, Jacob had great dreams, dreams beyond Laban’s house, to build the nation God promised him. See aright, hear aright and you will fulfill purpose.

Jacob’s dream in Genesis Chapter 31 verses 10 to 11 is therefore very significant. The dream he had of the flocks sustained him and gave him the ideas with which he grew his flock and left Laban’s house enriched and enlarged.

It is time to open your eyes wide so that you can break every ceiling over your life. Stop feeding on crumbs and go for the real stuff. Let go of every self-imposed limitation that looks like you cannot grow beyond a certain level in life. You are bigger than what you think or imagine. Therefore, let go of that small fry mentality and become who God created you to be from the foundation of the world.

Stop scrambling for AID. Rather, give AID for that is what you were born to do. Give AID, employ people to earn income, teach people to make and create wealth.

Grow YOU – spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, etc. the worst thing you can do to yourself is to become or get comfortable with AID. You do not need it anymore. Getting comfortable with AID puts limits on you, the limits God did not place on you. If Abraham had not separated from Lot on account of strife between their herdsmen over natural resource allocation, Abraham would never have seen the limitless possibilities for the abundant wealth God in store for him.

Open Your Eyes

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set [him] at his own right hand in the heavenly [places], 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all [things] under his feet, and gave him [to be] the head over all [things] to the church,  23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians Chapter 1 verses 15 to 23.

You should open your eyes – to see the huge opportunities God put at your disposal; to see the great possibilities God blessed you with; to tap into the greatness which God blessed you with from the foundation of the world; to take advantage of the myriad blessings of God in your life.

Additionally, so that you will see wondrous things from the law, visions, revelations of glory from the word of God. Please read Psalm 119 verse 18. It is significant and instructive that the Psalmist prayed that God should turn his eyes from looking at worthless things - things that would not add value to his mental processes, would not give him knowledge, wisdom and understanding. Please read Psalm 119 verse 37. He asked for revival, revival comes from consistently looking at the word of God   and in the process, a person gets fresh insight from the word of God to see possibilities. Perhaps that explains why Job made a covenant with his eyes – Job Chapter 31 verse 1.

To open your eyes may not necessarily mean the physical opening of your eyes though that may be necessary if your eyes were closed on account of sleep or any other reason. It simply means that you school yourself to see beyond the ordinary, to be perceptive, to understand the import of what you see, what you hear, what you smell, what you taste, what you feel; to take advantage of privileged information at your disposal which God in His infinite mercy gave you in advance of other people so that you can quickly deploy such information for profit.

Elisha’s servant was not physically blind. That explains why he saw the horde of the Syrian army who surrounded them. Naturally, he was afraid and cried out to his master Elisha. But Elisha who could see beyond the ordinary because God had opened his spiritual eyes of understanding to see the great army of God around them counseled the young man not to be afraid. Elisha further prayed for the young man’s eyes to be opened. The Bible records that God answered immediately and opened the eyes of the young man to see God’s horses and chariots of fire that also surrounded them and shielded them from the horde of the Syrian army. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 6 verses 8 to 17, Zechariah Chapter 2 verses 4 to 13, Proverbs Chapter 18 verse 10, Psalms 121, 124, 125 verses 1 to 3 and 91.

Are you in need of economic resources, divine protection and security? Ask God to open your eyes of understanding so that you can see the huge potentials and blessings of God at your disposal. Open your eyes; look around; look north, south, east and west; and take note of everything you see, Please read Genesis Chapter 13 verses 14 to 17.

Build and Sustain Strategic Alliances

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Strategic alliances are important to you and your business, career, academics, family, finances and whatever you do in life. This is because no one is an island. People, families, institutions, communities and nations need one another no matter the great unction upon their lives.

Most of the people God will send to help you are not people you know deeply. Please read 1st Chronicles Chapter 13 verses 1 to 4, 10 verses 13 to 14, 2nd Samuel Chapter 5 verse 19. Some people come into your life for a season, a reason and for a lifetime. Discern the purpose and walk accordingly with the team.

However, if the alliances are not strategic to God’s divine purposes for your life, then you do not need them. Relationships which take you away from God, make you sin against God and other people are not beneficial relationships.

It is instructive to associate with people who seek solutions to challenges. It is wisdom to avoid complainers, those who murmur, grumblers, malicious gossips, pity party singers. This is because these people are not seeking solutions. All they want is to compound challenges. Take for instance the trio who murmured against Moses and Aaron and led a rebellion against Moses and Aaron. What was their intention; to resolve the supposedly askew leadership position? Not at all! They wanted rebellion, rebellion against God’s authority as well as create chaos in the camp. God quickly intervened and the end of the trio was terrible.

Additionally, when you compare their case to that of the Hellenists who came to the Apostles to report the case of the askew sharing of food resources in the Early Church, you will discover that the Hellenists sought a solution and they got it as the Apostles quickly intervened and divinely chose the seven deacons to serve tables so they could have ample time to preach the gospel.

Beloved, there are people who do not want solutions to challenges. Why? The moment there is a solution, they will never have anything to complain about again. Beware of such people.

Creative Financing 3

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Recourse to God in Prayers

Any business or venture which you cannot creatively finance may not be what you are divinely called to do to make wealth. Any business which makes you borrow start up finance which you may not be able to pay back may not necessarily be what you are divinely called to do.

The widow of the indebted prophet already had a jar of oil that could multiply and compound in the house. However she lacked vessels to package the oil into to make it a marketable commodity. Of course she did not know all of this until the prophet Elisha opened her eyes of understanding to the huge opportunities for money making in her home; a supposedly no descript little jar of oil paid off the family’s debt and provided sustainable income for the family to live on for the rest of their lives.

The woman with the persisting flow of issue of blood had run out of resources to finance the medical challenge of twelve that had exhausted her financial resources. But she did not give up in her quest for a cure. She creatively financed the medical challenge by turning to God for help through Jesus Christ. She received instant healing without having to beg or borrow to fritter on another set of medics who would not be able to help her.

The virtuous woman must have considered owning a vineyard as one of her goals while still a very young woman. But she did not start immediately because she did not own the resources to buy the requisite land to own the vineyard. So she started with what she had. She deployed the ability to sew and knit into a money making activity. She worked diligently at this until she was able to earn sufficient financial resources to purchase land for the planting of the vineyard.

Beloved, a little bit of creative thinking would reveal that she excelled at her designing, sewing and knit wear to attract the right kind of clientele who paid handsomely for the goods she produced. Further critical thinking would also reveal that she was a good manager of financial resources. She saved up money from the fashion business to plough into the new business – purchasing land to plant a vineyard.

Significantly, she did not stop the fashion business. Both businesses grew side by side – industry and wisdom on the part of the virtuous woman.

Do Not Stop the Flow

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Plant the seed in your hands – this is because only planted seeds germinate, grow and multiply. Please read John Chapter 12 verse 24, 2nd Corinthians Chapter 9 verse 10, Isaiah Chapter 30 verse 23, Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22. Seed time and harvest time will never cease, that is to say that if you plant, you will always have bountiful harvests because God Who originated seeds and harvests is committed to giving you bountiful harvests. Please read Psalm 126.

The widow of Zarephath shared her last meal with the prophet Elijah at a time of drought and famine. The Bible records that her household fed fat during the period of the famine because God not only multiplied their food resources, He also sustained them all through the famine. Please read 1st Kings Chapter 17. The young man who gave up his lunch for Jesus to give to the multitudes at the crusade ground must have been amazed at how his seemingly small lunch compounded to feed thousands at the crusade ground.

The widow of the indebted prophet in 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7 kept filling several empty vessels from her supposedly little jar of oil. As long as the widow of the indebted prophet in 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7 had many empty vessels to fill up with oil, the oil kept expanding in volume and dimensions; flowing ceaselessly to fill up the many empty vessels. But as soon as the vessels were all filled up, the oil stopped expanding and flowing.

Who are your empty vessels? What are your empty vessels? Do you have enough empty vessels? Identify your God given empty vessels so that you do not fill the wrong vessels.

Missions is about sharing your divinely given resources as well as special abilities and endowments with as many people that God leads you to share them with. SHARE is the keyword; not necessarily what you do not have use for though what you do not have use for is also useful in and at mission fields.

Isaac planted in Gerar because God instructed him to plant his precious seed in Gerar. Apparently, Isaac had taken a decision to relocate to Egypt because of the famine in the land. But because Isaac believed and trusted God; he was in the habit of obeying God, he planted his seed in Gerar. And because he obeyed God and planted in Gerar, the Bible records that he reaped a bountiful harvest and began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous.

Such shall be your portion in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The lines are fallen to you in pleasant places. Shalom.

Take Advantage of Planting Seasons

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Times of giving when you are consistently and constantly called upon to give are planting seasons. Usually, planting seasons are not always pleasant to people who are not accustomed to planting. Why? It is a season of giving, releasing what you think you need, what is supposedly precious to the will of God, to the people of He leads you to invest in their lives, institutions, communities as well as nations where He wants  you to invest in. That explains why wise farmers, very wise farmers love planting seasons and readily plant at planting seasons even when the workload is heavy, the price is heavy and what they have to release for planting is very precious.

This is because they know that planting seasons precede harvests seasons – no planting, no harvest. Planting seasons are also periods of hard and smart work; great times of wise planning, discernment so that you plant your precious seeds in the right soil and at the right time. This is because seeds sown in the right soil and at the right time generate bountiful harvests especially when they also receive quality nurture (given to you by the Holy Spirit and which you also give to the seeds planted). Plant the right seed in the right soil at the right time.

Giving lovingly and generously to the people, institutions and communities God assigns you to give to; expands your capacity to receive from God. This is because you serve as the conduit pipe of God to the people and as long as the people receive from you as God would have them receive; then God will always pour out His blessings on you to give to His people. Please read Psalm 126. God will not give you more than enough until you have other people in your budget and kingdom work – 1st Samuel Chapter 1 verse 11.

Therefore, share your resources with the needy especially the ones God wants you to share them with. The surest and fastest way to expand resources is to share resources with the needy, the vulnerable and those to whom God wants those resources shared with. As you lay those resources on the ground as holy seed unto the Lord for His people and His work, God alone Who always multiplies and compound resources will expand such resources for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Shared resources, abilities always multiply and compound because they have been used to meet the needs of the people of God. Luke Chapter 6 verse 38, Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 24 to 26

Expand Your Business

 Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The children of Joseph; Ephraim and Manasseh complained to Joshua that the Canaanites in the land of the valley had chariots of iron and were a strong people. But Joshua reassured the children of Joseph (Ephraim and Manasseh) that they were a great people who had great power (greatness and power given to them by God over every other power and people) and therefore they had everything that was required to drive out the Canaanites no matter how powerful they appeared to be and no matter the weapons at their disposal. Please read Joshua Chapter 17 verses 14 to 18.

Beloved, power, all power in heaven and earth and wherever belong to God and as long as you are hidden in God through Christ Jesus, you have access to this great and awesome power and you can be used by God to dislodge whatever and whoever opposes you in your path and journey to fulfilling divine purpose.

Do not look at your seeming insignificant resources, weapons of warfare, personality, etc. Rather, look at God and His awesome power at work in you; that same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, that devastated Egypt and the children of Israel were released from Egypt on the night that all the first born males of Egypt were slain by God, that same that provided water in unlikely places in the wilderness; that same power that parted the Red Sea and made a way for them children of Israel to cross over to Canaan but swallowed Pharaoh and his finest crop of soldiers; that same power that brought down the walls of Jericho without the use of explosives; that same power that drove out the inhabitants of Canaan and made the Israelites the owners of Canaan, that same power which holds the world in one piece, that  keeps you and I safe from all the antics and machinations of the devil and his cohorts; that same power that brought Goliath down with a stone, that destroyed Sennecherib and his army, that humiliated the evil trio of Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem.

You may not have what you think are the resources you require. But you have the word of God. Beloved, there is great power in the word of God. Please read Isaiah Chapter 55

All Elisha had was the Spirit of God at work in him and the word of God. Elisha did not own the resources required to put an end to the famine in Samaria which had turned some people into cannibals. But Elisha had access to God and knew the mind of God on certain issues. Therefore, acting by the Spirit of God, Elisha consistently spoke the mind of God on and to issues, situations and circumstances which troubled him and the people of God.

Significantly and quite instructive to the people of God is that those words provided and became the solutions to the challenges experienced by the people. Famine came to an end in Samaria in one day not because manna and quail fell from heaven; not because a wealthier nation gave food aid. Famine came to an end because God orchestrated a situation which made the enemies of Samaria abandon their well-stocked camp designed to withstand a siege of months against Samaria. What the enemy left behind was so much that the famine came to an end and food prices crashed to what Elisha prophesied. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 7. Elisha spoke the words of God and the words of God accomplished divine purpose.

Grow Your Audience

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem yet His fame was in all the earth. The Bible records that multitudes followed Him. This means that as His ministry grew, His audience grew progressively from Bethlehem, Galilee to Jerusalem and other places. Significantly and quite instructive is the fact that He did not have access to the current technological and other advertising platforms that we have access to today for growing audiences.

Yet multitudes followed Him. What was His secret? He depended on God. How? He invested quality time, the best part of twenty four hours in communing with God in worship, praise and prayer before meeting with people. The Bible records that Jesus woke up very early to go to quiet places (where He could not be accessed, where He would not be disturbed to commune with God. Please read Mark Chapter 1 verses 35 to 37, Luke Chapter 6 verse 12. Thereafter, He met with the specific audience God wanted Him to meet with and it was always miracles.

Jesus Christ was compassionate. He showed great compassion to the people. He healed the sick, forgave the ones who needed to be forgiven of their sins, He provided more than enough food for the people who were hungry with what appeared to be insufficient resources which multiplied and compounded into more than enough food for everyone present.

Multitudes followed Jesus – Matthew Chapter 13 verses 1 to 2, John Chapter 6 verses 1 to 2, 24, Mark Chapter 6 verse 35, Luke Chapter 9 verses 10 to 12, to hear Him, to see the miracles He performed; to partake of the miracles. Why? Because He taught and preached what Gold wanted Him to teach; and as He did so miracles were performed as the Word of God went forth. I suggest you pray this prayer - Father, please give me the grace to speak as you would have me speak – what exactly to say and how to say it, when to say it and where to say it.

The people sought Jesus. He healed many sick people, both those who requested for healing as well as those who did not. The woman with the issue of blood had been bleeding for twelve, a period in which she spent huge financial resources to seek a cure. But she found none until she heard about Jesus and took the decision to touch the hem of his garment. As she did so, the hitherto unceasing blood flow of twelve years stanched. A long term ailment which had caused pain, shame, humiliation and embarrassment came to an abrupt end.

The sick man at the pool in Bethsaida did not even ask Jesus Christ for healing. He had never heard about Jesus and did not know Jesus. So even when Jesus asked if he would be made whole, the sick man gave a catalogue of excuse. But Jesus; full of compassion and mercy looked beyond his ignorance and healed him.

Grow Your Flock

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To grow anything implies that you already have a specimen of what you want to grow. Please read Genesis Chapter 1. With that specimen, whether singular or double, you grow whatever it is that you want to grow and expand to the North, South, East and West by the grace of God. Growth may not be automatic. Most times, growth is progressive, sometimes painstakingly challenging and fraught with what may bring in discouragement. But beloved, growth which leads to expansion does not always fall on people like a bag of cherries. It is work, real smart, creative and hard work.

Jacob lacked the resources he urgently required to grow his much needed flock so he could have his own business to manage; as well as take care of his family. His uncle Laban, with whom he had discussed and to whom he looked up to make available the resources he required had once again disappointed him by removing the requisite  flock with which he would have grown his flock. Rather than commence a pity party of tears and complaints, Jacob embarked on a creativity party (Joel Chapter 2 verses 28 to 32, Acts Chapter 2 verses 38 to 39, Genesis Chapters 30 verses 25 to 43, 31 verses 4 to 13) with which he grew his flock, an extremely large flock.

Beloved, it is possible to grow your flock; whatever it is; irrespective of the challenges that appear to be making it difficult for you to grow your flock. Perhaps what you require is a creativity party, with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. That party will produce what you require, the divine ideas as well as other resources that you require to grow your flock because whether you like it or not, God demands increase from you in the work of your hands, His divine plans and purposes for your life. Therefore, request what you require to grow your flock from God the Father and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jacob was not emotional about growing his flock out of what Laban gave to him. After all, Laban was the one who reneged on the agreement they had. So Jacob had to use what was available; deploying some creativity to create speckled flock from which he grew his large flock.

Sometimes, you have to let go of emotions to grow your flock, to walk in divine purpose. For when eventually, Jacob had to leave Laban’s house, he left without considering that they were family and that he was not being emotional about it. Rather, he focused on divine purpose and left for Canaan with his family.

Divinely Positioned for Increase

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

God has divinely positioned you for increase. But are you aware of the truth of God’s decision? I doubt because if you were, you would not always keep starting afresh and doing nothing to move forward.

Also you will not stay too long at a spot designed as a transit location and when eventually you decide to move, you will not keep moving in circles at a particular location. Beloved, it is time to break out of the vicious cycle of always starting afresh and moving in circles. Destroy it completely so that you can move on to progressive increase by the Spirit of God. If need be, change direction so that you can move forward. The will of God for you is to move forward and not continually be in a spot. Please read Isaiah Chapter 28 verses 23 to 25.

Therefore, change direction – follow a specific divine direction which will give you speed, instant success, fame and wealth and honor and respect. Move in this specific and certain direction. Your task and responsibility is to find out this specific direction and get moving fast in this direction. Your journey to sustainable generational wealth (Deuteronomy Chapters 1 verse 2 and 2 verses 1 to 4) can be short if you follow the specific direction God leads you in – Joshua Chapter 1 verse 8. To do this successfully, you require the holy presence of God in your life at all times.

Beloved, the holy presence of God in your life is wealth untold, incomparable to anything the world has to offer. Besides this wealth is sustainable, abundant and overflowing wealth. Therefore, treasure your relationship with God, the rich indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit coupled with His guidance and leading on a daily basis, the rich deposit of the word of God in your spirit and in your heart, understanding of the word of God by the Holy Spirit, the immense love of God for you, His faithfulness, faithful provision, protection and deliverance of not only you but your loved ones by always staying in the presence of God. That is the divine position for daily increase and sustainable generational wealth.

This position may appear slow to you but it is the fastest position to sustainable generational wealth. It is my prayer that you remain divinely positioned for increase in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

How to Remove Financial Limitations

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Planning leads to abundance and great increase. Please read Proverbs Chapter 21 verse 5. THEREFORE, ALWAYS PLAN.

Giving also works like that – give more and you keep getting more from the unlimited reserves of God. In the kingdom and economy of God, there is no scarcity because anything God supplies is in abundance. It is always abundance which is why the kingdom and economy of God operates on abundance mentality. But the Babylonian kingdom which is the world’s system operates on scarcity mentality fuelled by the greed of humans and that is what brings in scarcity because God withdraws His abundance in the face of greed.

Giving and receiving – sowing and reaping as stated in Luke Chapter 6 verse 38, Malachi Chapter 3 verses 10 to 12.

Generosity – Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 24 to 26. Sharing the resources at your disposal with people in need – the widow of Zarephath. Love and selflessness – sacrificial giving always multiplies and compounds

Faith in God – faith in God never fails.

Diligence – Yet another component of divine provision is diligence. God rewards diligence with abundance. Therefore, till your land, Proverbs Chapters 12 verse 11, 28 verse 19, 13 verse 23, Isaiah 30 verse 23, 28 verses 23 to 29 and Zechariah Chapter 8 verse 12. You can start by having and keeping an inventory of what you own – Proverbs Chapter 21 verse 5. Therefore, be diligent  so that you will know the state of your flock – a thorough complete and informed state of your flock will guide you in taking care of your flock, which is attend to your herds.

Praise and thanksgiving to God – Psalm 67, 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20 verses 22 to 26. Finally, you can also leapfrog financial limitations through praise - Jehoshaphat and his team, God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm Paul and Silas in prison through thanksgiving).

Do not squander – Proverbs Chapter 21 verse 20. Squandering depletes treasures – it is the same thing as wasting of resources. That was what the prodigal son did with his inheritance.

Be mentally stable. The stability of your mind is determined by your peace and peace is important for your healing, a key requirement for your healing. Peace of God, absolute trust in God to deliver is what you require for financial healing. The litmus test of your direction is your peace in God. Let the peace of God guide you at all times. Judges Chapter 11 verses 1 to 4.

Remove Limitations

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Limitations should not deter you. You should not allow yourself to be intimidated or discouraged by limitations. The ten spies were intimidated by what appeared to be limitations and rather than hand over the supposed limitations to God, they transferred their fears and consequent discouragement blown out of proportion into hopelessness to the rest of the people. The consequence was the decision of the people to return to Egypt which aroused the anger of God against the people. They were afraid of being killed by the supposed giants in the land they happily left Egypt for. Why?

A limitation blown out of proportion! These were the same people who sidetracked the limitation of the Red Sea by crying out to God for help. Though the Red Sea constituted a limitation to their forward movement was not removed, God made a way through the Red Sea. What then stopped them from asking God for help to deal with the supposed limitation of the giants and the supposed land which consumed its people?

Limitations are actually satanic; designed to be barriers against divine progress to God’s plans and purposes for His children. But when they are handed over to God in prayer for help, they are either easily sidetracked or removed completely by God.

The intimidating and insurmountable wall of Jericho is a case in point. How on earth would the Israelites go through that fortress deliberately barricaded against them by the people of Jericho? But God Who always makes a way where there is no way brought down the wall of Jericho without explosives. All the people did was to praise the Lord. Is it then possible that quality praise to God Almighty could be divine mighty explosives to remove some of what appear to be insurmountable challenges in your pathway to divine purpose?

Financial abundance is your God given portion in Christ Jesus and that should be pursuing you every day and not you running after money which always appears to have elusive wings to fly away just when you need it.

Beloved, there will be no more limitations occasioned by lack and insufficiency in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is abundance all the time, all the way in every sphere of your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Some Biblical examples who experienced abundance all the time by the Spirit of God include Kings David, Solomon, Jehoshaphat, Hezekiah; the virtuous woman, Isaac, Abraham, Jacob and Esau, the liberal soul in  Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 24 to 26, the wisdom in Proverbs Chapter 27 verses 23 to 27.

Therefore, Stop pursuing what should be pursuing you. Manage financial abundance and not poverty; now and beyond, not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It can only get better. Though thy beginning was small, thy latter days shall be great. God has broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron in sunder in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God has destroyed the yoke of lack and financial insufficiency to give you financial abundance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Please read Joshua Chapters 3 to 5, take note of verse 9 of Chapter 5. No more limits in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God has given you victory through Christ Jesus.

It is restoration, full restoration in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Lord will increase you more and more; you and your children in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God is opening doors of great increase, exponential increase in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Creative Financing 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Explore legal and righteous ways in which you can receive money from people by providing a service or product. In essence, earn the money by providing a service or product. For instance, you can teach for a fee.

You can clean house for a fee. You can cook special meals for individuals and families for a fee. You can do laundry for a fee. In essence, you can trade in your skills, expertise and talents for a fee.

You can also train for a fee; train people in special areas to acquire knowledge or skills and if you can populate a room with at least fifteen to twenty participants, you are in business. That could also be a signal that you should concentrate on training and generate income from training activities.

The widow of the indebted prophet did not have the money but she was able to raise the money to pay off the family debts because God favored her and gave her divine instructions on how to raise the money through the Prophet Elisha. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 4 for details and insight. She packaged and sold a product which was hitherto sitting idly in her home and made more than enough money to pay off the family debt as well as to live on for the rest of her life. There are things you can do to earn the financial resources you are looking for without necessarily asking anyone for financial assistance.

The virtuous woman is one of a kind. She consistently created products which she sold profitably to raise the financial resources she required to buy land to plant a vineyard. She invested time in building profitable businesses and had no reason to request financial assistance from anyone. Her personal discipline of time management as well as fiscal discipline speak volumes. The Bible records that she saved up money from her garment production business to buy land to plant a vineyard. It is quite significant and instructive to know that what this great and wonderful woman did was to deploy the regular skills of sewing and knitting which about every woman possessed in her generation to money making and from sewing, she expanded into planting a vineyard.

Partner with financiers

Find men and women who understand how money works because you will benefit from their financial education and knowledge base – what to do; as well as advisers – every gifted person needs advisers whether formal or informal. Find a partner to fund and distribute while we create and receive a percentage of the profits.

Prophesy Financial Abundance – call forth the financial resources you require by speaking Scriptures that say that you will not lack financial resources. The prophet Elisha called forth abundant resources in the midst of a famine that had culminated in cannibalism. Please read 2nd Kings Chapter 6 verses 25 to 7 verses 1 to 20. You can do same. You can daily declare that the Lord is your shepherd and you will not lack anything because He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This has a way of giving you divine direction to abundance. The four lepers at the gate of Samaria suddenly took a decision to go to the Camp of the Syrian Army because they were following divine direction based on the prophecy by Prophet Elisha.

Creative Financing

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To source for financial resources which you do not own but urgently require for business or personal purposes.

Ask and you will receive. The template of the Lord’s Prayer is about asking and receiving from God. Please read Luke Chapter 11 verses 1 to 12, Matthew Chapter 6 verses 9 to 13. This speaks volumes of the great extravagant grace of God as God gives to those who ask from Him (Matthew Chapter 7 verse 11, Luke Chapter 11 verse 13, John Chapter 14 verse 13, 15 verse 7, 16 and 16 verses 23 to 26; Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 20, Philippians Chapter 4 verses 6 to 7, 1st Timothy Chapter 2 verses 1 to 4, Matthew Chapter 18 verse 19, Luke Chapter 18 verses 1 to 8, 1st John Chapter 1 verses 8 to 10, 3 verse 22, 5 verses 14 to 15. It is also significant to note that Jesus ASKED; BEGINNING WITH THANKSGIVING because He knows that God always answers. You can also ask God in prayers before talking to people. That way, God is in perfect control of your subsequent utterances and actions.

You can ask individuals, families, institutions, communities and even nations to invest in you, to be part of what you intend to do with the financial resources, though that may not be necessary in all instances as there are people who enjoy investing in people with great ideas. Pray that God leads you to such people as you go about asking for financial resources.

The Israelites asked from the Egyptians as instructed by God through Moses. They received gifts of gold, silver and clothing. Please read Exodus Chapters 3 verses 21 to 22; 11 verses 2 to 3; 12 verses 35 to 36 for details and insight. When you want or need financial resources, ask God for it. Do not keep deferring it to the future. Ask God to make it available when you need it and He will do so in Jesus mighty name. Finally, thank God for financial abundance in Jesus mighty name.

Divine favor is a major factor in creative financing. King Solomon for instance did not request financing from anyone. Yet people came from far and wide to bless him with financial resources because they heard of his immense wisdom and they wanted to hear directly from him.
