Always Plan for Abundance 4

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Everything God has and does is in surplus. Please read 2nd Corinthians Chapter 9 verse 8. The feeding of five thousand men besides women and children as well as the four thousand people and more are classic examples of how God always does everything in abundance. This is because God always has more than enough resources.

This also explains why God blesses His people abundantly so that they will always have more than enough. God’s plan for His people therefore is to have more than enough to pay their bills, to give to the poor, to pay off debts. Beloved, God wants you to go beyond the level of mere subsistence living to the level of abundance where you always have more than enough to share with other people.

Sharing resources with the needy and vulnerable no matter how small the resources appear is a way of planning for and always having abundance. A lad laid down his only lunch of five barley loaves and two small fishes so that five thousand men besides women and children could be fed. The outcome was an overflow - left over fragments that filled twelve baskets. What other example could probably describe the principle of multiplication and compounding!

Always Plan for Abundance 3

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Abundance is your portion, your God given right and privilege given to you in Christ Jesus. Though your present circumstances may not look anything or anywhere close to abundance, I plead with you by the sure mercies of God to take the leap of faith which you urgently require now to plan for abundance. Please, do not give up and do not be discouraged. You are about to experience and enjoy God’s supernatural abundance ordained specifically for you from the foundation of the world.  The best is yet to come therefore, invest time in high economic and income generating activities and ensure you daily pay attention to the activities you are engaged in especially the ones God committed into your hands. In point of fact, commit to only what God wants you to commit to and spend quality time in your God appointed field of endeavor so that God will bless the work of your hands. Those who sow in tears always reap in joy. Please read Psalm 126 for insight.

The real scope of your God appointed field will unfold when you commit to it diligently. Additionally, if you apply God given wisdom in separating from the Lots you dragged along with you into your God ordained field, then you will be able to see as far as God wants you to see and you will invest quality time in working your land so that you can have abundance.  Your God appointed field is the fruit of your life and you can only fruit when you understand the seeds God blessed you with to function in that field. Surprisingly, the seeds were there even before you got saved. They could even be the areas of your excesses and weaknesses. In that case they are seeds that were misguided. What to do in such cases is to turn them around for God and you will fruit to real abundance in the mighty name of Jesus. They could also be areas of your strength. Whichever and whatever, you have to make a conscious deliberate effort to discover your seeds and your God ordained field to experience and walk in abundance. This is because until you discover your seeds, you cannot really fruit to abundance. At best, you will see and experience average results which are not really what you need in this time and age.

Always Plan for Abundance 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Quite significant and instructive is the fact that the relationships you invest in play an important role in the journey to and plan for abundance. This is because some relationships are time wasting relationships which drain you spiritually, physically, mentally and economically. They do not in any way contribute to your personal development and will therefore not help you to plan for abundance.

On the other hand, there are positive and highly energizing relationships which spur you on to achieve at all times. They not only inspire you but they also encourage and teach you to excel above your peers. Therefore, invest time in quality relationships which move you up the ladder. People who have visions and a clear sense of purpose and direction are the people you need around you. You do not need people who engage in criticizing and judging other people and economic activities; yet they are bereft of any life transforming knowledge. Unfortunately, such people are often failures in their different areas of endeavor and are looking for partners to increase their club membership.

The relationships you urgently require are relationships that will inject life into you through the information they share with you. The biblical Ruth, a widow with no economic resources and leverage whatsoever in Israel; who lived off gleaning; became the wife of Boaz and co-owner of Boaz’ wealth because of the life transforming information that Naomi shared with her. You can imagine what would have happened to Ruth if she chose to spend time with fellow widows who frittered time in idle chatter and immoral activities instead of diligent work and quality relationships. She would have remained, poor, hungry, insignificant and unknown. But because she chose quality relationships, she became significant, famous and wealthy and is also listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. What greater honor could anyone desire!

The widow of the indebted prophet chose who she shared her challenges with carefully. She did not did not fritter time in idle chatter and gossip. She also did not go to the company of complainers, murmurers and grumblers and maligners. Neither did she set up a pity party. Rather, she went to see the prophet Elisha and shared her problem with him and from the depth of divine wisdom and the Holy Spirit in him, Elisha gave the widow divine instructions which brought about economic transformation in their lives.

Make Wealth Happen - Lessons from the Widow of the Indebted Prophet

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You may be born poor but you were not created poor. God did not create you poor which explain why He gave you the power to make wealth as recorded in Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 18. God also gave Jesus Christ as sacrifice for you to become rich. Please read 2nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9.

Beloved, the circumstances of your birth, lineage, nationality, race and whatever may boldly scream poor, poor, dirt poor but please note that God Who created you for a purpose and Who loves you enough to sacrifice His only Child for you did not create you poor. Everything you require to become wealthy was already deposited in you at creation before the foundation of the world. God created you rich, a lender to the nations. Please read Deuteronomy Chapters 15 verse 6 and 28 verses 11 to 13. Therefore, do not allow your circumstances place limitations on you so that you do not make the necessary effort to take the relevant steps to get out of poverty.
You are created rich and can easily, by the grace and power of God alongside the divine wisdom of God get out of poverty in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

The widow of the indebted prophet is a classic example. The family was poor, poor as they come which explain why they lived on debt. Unfortunately, the man of the house who had piled up the huge debt died. This was another unfortunate incident in this poor family because the death of the man implied that the debt would not be paid any time soon. So the creditor came calling on the family – he would take the two sons of the debtor for debt servitude. This was probably the wakeup call which the woman required. Only recently widowed, her two sons were to be taken away by the creditor for slavery. The woman was overwhelmed. She ran to Prophet Elisha to do something about the situation; to ensure that her two sons were not taken away into debt servitude.
