Fruitfulness is the will of God. Barrenness is not of God.
Every living thing is supposed to produce fruit. The identity of an entity can
be determined by the fruits they bear, for example you can tell a mango tree by
the mango fruit it bears.
Fruitfulness is a precursor to increase. Increase is a
function of fruitfulness and multiplication. Therefore, fruitfulness which
always births multiplication is a precursor to increase as the yield from
fruitfulness leads to multiplication and multiplication leads to increase. Please
read Jeremiah 29 verses 5 to 6, Genesis Chapters 1 verse 28, 9 verses 1 and 7.
God demands and requires fruitfulness and increase from His creation. Fruitfulness
is a command from God to His creation because every creation of God is divinely
capacitated to be fruitful.
The nation and company of nations can only proceed from you
if you are fruitful because fruitfulness births multiplication and
multiplication births expansion. Be fruitful and multiply. It is the fruitful
branch in Christ that is pruned to bear more fruit but the unfruitful branch is
cut away. Stagnancy leads to retrogression and retrogression to obscurity. It
is fruitfulness and multiplication that makes an individual, family, families,
communities and nations expand to the North, South, East and West. Please read
Genesis Chapter 28 verses 13 to 15. Jacob to whom God made this promise was
very fruitful in every area of life. He bore twelve sons and a daughter and all
twelve sons had many children. Jacob was also very rich in material goods and
financial resources. His unique animal husbandry gave him several flocks out of
the flock he kept for Laban and his sons.
By the time Jacob went to Egypt as Israel, the Bible records
that they were seventy persons and by the time they were leaving Egypt as the
nation of Israel, the Bible records that six hundred thousand persons excluding
their dependents and other persons who tagged alongside them, described as the
mixed multitude.
Fruitfulness precedes multiplication. Without fruitfulness,
there can be no multiplication. This is why God deposited in every one of His
creation the ability to be fruitful and multiply; and also commanded every one
of them to be fruitful and multiply; so that the resultant multiplication leads
to increase and expansion on all sides. This also explains why God says in His
word that none shall be barren in His house. Please read Exodus Chapter 23
verse 26, Genesis Chapters 18 verses 13 to 14; 21 verses 1 to 3; 25 verses 20
to 21 and 30 verses 22 to 24.
God places a demand on His children to be fruitful so that
they can multiply. This explains why He takes away every branch that does not
bear fruit (John Chapter 15 verse 2) and prunes every branch that bears fruit.
The demand by God for fruit bearing is predicated on the fact that He created
every one of His and other living things with the innate capacity to bear
fruit. Please read Genesis Chapter 1 verses 11 to 12, 20 to 22 and 28. This is also
why God commanded man at creation to be fruitful and multiply. In subsequent
interactions with humanity, God consistently asked humans to be fruitful in
order for humans to multiply on the earth. In point of fact, this was the first
instruction God gave to Noah and the living things that went with him into the
ark. Please read Genesis Chapters 8 verses 17, 22, 9 verses 1 and 7.
God promised to make Abraham exceedingly fruitful (Genesis
Chapter 17 verse 6), make Ishmael fruitful and multiply him exceedingly
(Genesis Chapter 17 verse 20).
Additionally, God stated in His word that none of His
children will be barren. Please read Exodus Chapter 23 verse 26. Therefore, no
child of God has an excuse to refuse to be fruitful. Even people like Sarah,
Elisabeth and the mother of Samson who were referred to as barren became
fruitful even at very advanced ages. Please read Genesis Chapters 21 verses 1
to 8, Judges Chapter 13 and Luke Chapter 1, as well as 2nd Kings
Chapter 4 for the testimony of the woman of Shunem.
Beloved, fruitfulness and multiplication is the will of God
for His children. Even when the Egyptians attempted to make the children of
Israel unfruitful, God intervened and made them very fruitful. Please read
Exodus Chapters 1 verses 7, 10, 12, 20 and 7 verses 1 to 7. God made them
fruitful and multiplied them greatly.
Beloved, you are divinely endowed with all it takes to be
fruitful. Commence the journey to fruitfulness today and you will be amazed at
how fruitful you will become by the grace and power of God at work in you.
