Walk Through the Doors

 Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

A great and effective door as stated in 1st Corinthians Chapter 16 verse 9 was a huge door of opportunity for good work but there was fierce opposition by those opposed to the ministry of the Apostle Paul. Please read Acts Chapter 19 and 2nd Corinthians Chapter 2 verse 12. This implies that there are also insignificant and ineffective doors – Revelation Chapter 3 verses 7 to 8, Isaiah Chapter 22 verse 22.

In like manner, there is a door or doors that are huge business opportunities for you to create wealth but because there is so much opposition therein, you are probably afraid and have chickened out thinking that those doors were not opened by God. For instance the huge opportunities for participation in global businesses opened by the Internet in this era of digitalization is a huge door of opportunity to walk through. It may appear difficult if you do not have the skills for participation. Significantly, the skills are not rocket science. You can learn and quite easily if you put your mind to it and sell your goods and services.

You can also participate in profitable online activities – sales promotions by platforms who market your goods and services, conferences (both free and fee paying), online courses and discussions, Church online activities, as well as other large reach organizations to give you and your products and services mileage. That way you can leverage the strengths of other organizations to your advantage and profit.

These are some of the open doors God has for you that you need to walk through for them to become great and effective doors. If you do not walk through them, they do not become great and effective doors. Therefore, go to the websites and social media handles of these people and institutions to connect, link up with them and maintain contacts.

You may experience challenges but God will help you overcome whatever challenges the enemy will bring your way by the Spirit of God so that you can soar to God’s heights. Please read Deuteronomy Chapter 15 verse 6, 28 verses 11 to 13, Isaiah Chapter 10 verse 27, Nahum Chapter 1 verses 9, 13. After all, the Bible records that for this cause was the Son of Man manifested; to destroy the works of the devil. How does the Son of God destroy the works of the devil? With the word of God – He is also the Word of God. Please read Revelation Chapter 19 verses 13 to 15, Ephesians Chapter 6 verse 17b, Revelation Chapter 1 verse 16, Hebrew Chapters 1 verses 1 to 3, 11 verse 3, 4 verse 12 to 13, John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 17, 17 verse 17, Psalm 91 verse 4b, Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 11, Genesis Chapter 1, 2nd Peter Chapter 3 verses 5 to 9.

Play Big to Win Big 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Be more organized

Be more organized mentally, spiritually, physically, financially so that you can easily find all that God blessed you with; blessings which you have been searching for in non-existent places because you are not organized. Organization will lead you easily to them. Therefore, keep organizing as God would have you organize.

Network and Collaborate

Always network to find the right partners so that you can collaborate with them; to mobilize resources and manage them effectively and optimally. Focus on collaborations with God ordained and God directed partners who will give you mileage and the resources you require for success and wealth.

Clean Out

Clean out as soon as you need to clean out and be where God wants you to be rather than waiting for a special time to clean out and you are hanging where you should not be because you have not cleaned out. Get the resources you need to clean out; in point of fact, ask God for them. Therefore, MOVE. Move away from enough, sufficient, abundance to overflowing abundance. Move from abundance to overflowing abundance. Move spiritually, mentally, physically, financially and in whatever area you need to move. Move in every area of life from abundance to overflowing abundance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Feed Fat on the Word of God

Jesus Christ is the word of God made flesh. As you fellowship with the word of God daily, you encounter Jesus Christ – the beautiful Rose of Sharon, Lily of the valley, the Resurrection and the Life, Living Word, the Great Physician, Savior, Redeemer, Justifier, Sanctifier, Healer, the Bread of Life, the Good Shepherd. Jesus Christ is the light of the world. Please read John Chapters 8 verse 12; 9 verse 5; 12 verses 35 to 36, 46; 1 verses 1 to 10, Genesis Chapter 1, Luke Chapter 1 verses 78 to 79, Isaiah Chapters 9 verse 2; 60, note verses 1 to 3, 19 to 20, Psalm 107 verses 10 to 14.

Light brings clarity, understanding, blurts out darkness, fear, confusion, wandering, emptiness, torment, oppression, suppression, lack of development, affliction, pain, sorrow and every ill that comes with darkness. Please read Psalm 107 verses 10 to 14, Isaiah Chapter 9 verse 2 and Luke Chapter 1 verses 78 to 79.

Play Big to Win Big

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Play big is a common parlance in the stakes. But in the game of life, you do not play big on a hunch. You play big on the basis of the word of God that is infallible because the word of God is God and therefore cannot fail. Embedded in your field is everything you need; money, fame, publicity, ministry, celebrity status, opportunities and platforms to serve God faithfully and lovingly; to excel in business and academics. Therefore, no more wandering in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is time to launch out into the deep; away from your local arena into the global marketplace where you belong. Therefore, stop playing small, in small arenas.

This is because your field is a very successful global brand. Make it a billion dollar enterprise and you are a billionaire. Make it globally sought after and you are globally sought after. Toy with it and you will be toyed with. Refuse to work it and you will be enslaved tilling the lands of other people. There are many successful, wealthy and influential people who arrived where they are in both history and today because they worked their lands.

Therefore play big by working your field intelligently; in big arenas and significantly in the global marketplace. You have all it takes to work it to a very successful; globally relevant brand, acceptable, relevant and on high demand globally. GET TO WORK.

Value You

Place great value on you; the value God placed on you from the foundation of the world. God created you great to achieve great things for Him. He also bought you with a huge price from the kingdom of darkness. Please read 1st Peter Chapter 2 verses 9 to 10. Therefore, place the right value on yourself. Do not allow anyone tone down your value. Rather, consistently upgrade your value by the Spirit of God. Do not play second fiddle to anyone. Be who God created you to be – a global brand, relevant, dominant and significant. Move forward.

Local, national and global acceptance are gifts from God to anyone. They do not happen by chance. God is the One Who makes the people to like, accept and honor a person. Please read  1st Chronicles Chapter 29 verses 22 to 25. Solomon was accepted as King in Israel by both the leadership of Israel and the sons of his father because God put it in the heart of the people to do so.

David was accepted by the people of Israel to be King after the death of Saul and Jonathan. The people were the ones who took the decision to crown David King over Israel. Please read 2nd Samuel Chapter 5 verses 1 to 5.

Take advantage of the current global visibility and acceptance God has given to you to be globally relevant, highly sought after, significant and dominant. Be a global household name in proffering your divinely given and accessed unlimited timeless cutting edge solutions and resources.

Sell Your Way to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, “My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.”  “What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied.  And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors.  Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”  So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another.  Soon every container was full to the brim! “Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons. “There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing. When she told the man of God what had happened, he said to her, “Now sell the olive oil and pay your debts, and you and your sons can live on what is left over.”  2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7, NLT.

SELL! SELL!! SELL!!!

Sell knowledge

Sell expertise and knowledge for a fee. How? Knowledge can be packaged in books – print, audio, and e-books; as fee paying courses taught at seminars, workshops, conferences, as messages in audio formats such as teaching messages of pastors, motivational speakers, life coaches, music in either audio or MP3 formats, as movies, TV series, talk shows, documentaries, reality shows, cartoons, etc. King Solomon, Daniel and Joseph sold knowledge in different formats.

For instance, I was instructed by God to write my way out of poverty. As I commenced writing, first the Olives International magazine and later the website, followed by my YouTube channels, I also discovered that there were other streams of income embedded in these platforms. For instance, I could earn additional income on my websites and channels through ad sales, affiliate marketing or outright sale of these platforms. But what shocked me most was the fact that I could create a networking platform for wealth creators to interact and socialize online. I could also design wealth creation courses which eventually birthed the wealth creation institute – Olives College designed to teach people to create wealth, build entrepreneurs, as well as create wealth by engaging in wealth building activities.

I realized that all I had to do when people come to seek requisite knowledge and wisdom to solve some of their problems is to give them tidbits and direct them to my books and websites for additional information so that they can study and only return if they do not gain full understanding to request full understanding for a fee. This is where workshops, seminars and coaching services came in. I simply ask the people to find twenty nine more people for the seminar and then teach for a fee. This way, people learn to work through and solve their problems. They did not have to delegate the work of solving their problems to me.

Convert Your Interests, Passions and Hobbies to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Interests, passions and hobbies differ from person to person, families, communities and nations. This is no surprise as God created every person uniquely for divine reasons and purposes.

That explains why your interests, passions and hobbies are divine seeds deposited in you from the foundation of the world. These seeds deposited in you for great divine purposes are also your keys to overwhelming financial abundance. These seeds are also great and effective doors for earning and making money as well as potentials of greatness. Beloved, until you discover your seeds, understand them so that you can easily recognize them at every instance they show up, you cannot really fruit to wealth and greatness. The pertinent question I dare to ask you, beloved, is do you know, understand and instantly recognize your seeds? If you do, then activate these gifts, work them, and use them as launch pads to make wealth.

If for instance you love making jewelry and accessories generally; you can convert things which appear ordinary, unattractive and insignificant, sometimes considered trash and actually given up as trash into beautiful jewelry and accessories. I for one really love doing this and sometimes sell such pieces or give them out as gifts to people who appreciate them. The pertinent question is, can it become a business as well as a way of conserving things?

Perhaps you enjoy collecting beautiful, rare and valuable pieces, for personal use, safe keeping, converting them or re-purposing them or as gift items. I also do same especially for household items – mugs, plates, spoons, pots, table clocks, perfume and wine bottles. I actually enjoy collecting these items and converting them to accessories and house décor items. You can also collect antiques and sell to make money. Yes, you can keep some but you do not keep collecting to store away. Collect to make money by selling them. Just in case you are wondering where on earth you can sell such items if you live in countries where there are no antique shops, beloved, the world is now a global village. You can actually sell online if you link up with the right sales platforms.

Could this become a business considering that you really enjoy doing this and you always have a knack for collecting rare choice items for usually next to nothing?

The Intrinsic Value of Intangible Assets

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Intangible assets are the greatest of assets. This is because they are indestructible and cannot be stolen from the owner of the assets. Significantly and quite instructive is the fact that intangible assets are limitless and therefore inexhaustible and to a large extent, they are not difficult to mine. But some tangible assets are not only difficult to access and mine, they are inexhaustible.

Many people came from many different nations to see King Solomon; not because he had the most appealing face; the greatest wealth or harem; or that his country was resource rich: but to hear his famed divine wisdom and understanding given to him by God. And as they came to see him, they brought gifts (tangible assets) of silver, gold and articles of choice clothing to him. These tangible assets added up to King Solomon’s vast financial resources from trade and tributes. Significantly, the trade was also a function of his divine wisdom, for instance monopolizing the trade in horses and chariots in his region; as well as partnering with Hiram of Lebanon to trade valuable resources at sea. King Solomon certainly knew how to trade his intangible assets for tangible assets.

Ideally, you should have something which no other person has so that people can look up to you and most importantly, you can trade it for what you need. That way, you will be a city set on a hill and an attraction to the world. Beloved, you are divinely wired with intangible assets; some of which you are even unaware of. It may be the call of God on your life which you probably despise because you think it will make you insignificant. But the truth is that God calls you to greater heights and wants to showcase you to the world. Joseph is a classic biblical example.

Prosperity is a Process

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Prosperity is the divine birthright of every child of God and can and should be accessed at all times, easily and lovingly. How? That is where the teachings on prosperity in the word of God come in. The Bible teaches that you are born to prosper and flourish in Christ Jesus; not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God. Please read 3rd John 1 and 2.

Prosperity is a process. It is not a one off activity. It is a series of sustained activities, actions, utterances tailored to increase, abundance and prosperity. It is not a code. It is not a one size shoe or dress which fits all.

There are customized processes to accommodate everyone to prosper; not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God. That explains why people in diverse professions, trade and industry who understand what prosperity is always prosper irrespective of where they are located.

Significantly, God is the One Who brings about the prosperity. He made everything that Joseph did to prosper.

He blessed King Solomon with great wealth. How? He gave Solomon uncommon wisdom which made Solomon highly sought after and handsomely remunerated by Kings and leaders from nations around him. Additionally, God made all of Solomon’s businesses to prosper.  Solomon enjoyed divine favor both from God and humans. People and nations loved to do business with him and lived at peace with him and Israel.

Pay Attention to Details 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Therefore, invest time and resources in living a life of excellence, producing quality work, services and products, relationships etc. The rewards of excellence far outweigh the handouts from doing anything shabbily or just to get by so that you can flow with the crowd. Cut out from the crowd of mediocre people. Mediocrity is not of God because God is excellent and His Spirit of excellence is available to as many people who request the grace to provide excellent services and products. Secondly, Mediocrity does not lead to fruitfulness and multiplication. Only excellence and diligence do. Therefore, separate yourself from mediocre people and mediocrity. Give mediocrity, mediocre people, their services and products a very wide berth. Move away at the speed of light from drab, ordinary, average, good, better to being the BEST. IT IS POSSIBLE.

Excellence is inspiring and motivates. Significantly, excellence does not necessarily have to be bought with money though money is sometimes required to produce excellent services and products. Everything about what you do should speak of excellence. Do not bother yourself about how other people are doing their jobs. Rather, focus on what God wants you to do, how to do it, when to do it, where to do it and why you should do it. That way, you will always render excellent services and produce excellent products. Instructively, excellent services and products attract quality people and their resources to your business. And even if you are an employee, your bosses will be impressed with the quality of your work and move you up the ladder. You can ask the biblical Joseph, Daniel and Huram who served kings and not insignificant people.  Please read Proverbs Chapter 22 verse 29.

Pay Attention to Details

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

There is actually nothing like luxury. The truth is that what is branded as luxury is actually high quality, the crème de la crème of quality in terms of materials used for production, designing, the entire production process as well as the finish. That explains why luxury goods have great aesthetics, great fit, wonderful functionality and durability. What this also implies is that anyone can actually produce luxury goods without necessarily being branded as a luxury brand; though every producer of quality goods  and services eventually turns out to be a producer of luxury goods and services and acquires the status of a luxury brand as well as all the perks associated with luxury goods such as high prices, loyal clients and high patronage (people who are used to luxury goods and services always stick to luxury goods irrespective of the pricing as they cannot afford to use lower quality goods and services).

A case in point are techies who use a certain brand of computers and phones especially programmers. Because of the ease of using these products especially in writing codes, they find it extremely difficult to use other brands. I am not a fan of that brand and I am not making a case for the brand either. It is simply that I have worked closely with techies who use these products. They would not touch other products and they have advised me severally to start using these products. Unfortunately, I cannot afford them. Secondly, I am not a programmer though I am an advanced user of technology.

Producers of luxury goods and services pay attention to details, the design, finish and choice of materials. Significantly, the precision is always right. You can also move up that ladder by improving on and enhancing the aesthetic appeal and value of whatever it is you do. You can do this by insisting on and providing excellent services and products; by always setting very high standards; and please make efforts to exceed them. Pay attention to details even the very minutest of details such as color, background, choice of diction, graphics, etc. All of these will add great value to what you do because you would have enhanced quality in the process.

Push out into Deep Water

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha
Move away from where you are now to where God wants you to be in 2020. Peter and his colleagues labored fruitlessly all through the night but when Jesus Christ instructed them to push out into deep water; where significantly, God wanted him to be at that point in time; and he obeyed, Peter and his colleagues’ harvested abundance.

Beloved, move away, NOW from fruitless labors to FRUITFUL LABORS by pushing out into the deep waters God planned and purposed for you from the foundation of the world. That is to say that there is a divine place and time for you to harvest and enjoy abundance if only you will pay attention to God and be where He wants you to be.

Beloved, pay attention to God through the Holy Spirit to get the specific location as Peter got – into deep water and not shallow water. Peter was also instructed on the specific activities to engage in – launch out your nets for a catch. Beloved, get your clear specific instructions and obey God. You will definitely have sure harvests and abundance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

You may have to learn new skills, interact with and collaborate with a new set of partners, build strategic alliances that are purposeful to your new destination and activities. Go ahead and do so. Also, LEARN TO APPLY NEW SKILLS; DEPLOY LATENT EXPERTISE in your deep waters and harvest abundance in 2020 and beyond in the name of Jesus Christ.

Use Your Mind to Create Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You can translate invisible money into visible money. How? Please pray this prayer and then read the entire blogpost for today.

Father, thank You for the abundant financial resources and wealth with which You want to make me a lender to the nations. Deuteronomy Chapters 15 verse 6 and 28 verse 12.

Father, please give me the wisdom to manage the vast divine resources you blessed me with in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  Give me the wisdom to translate this huge divine deposit of invisible money into visible money; money that will bless humanity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Deploy your mental processes into creating wealth. How? Rather than reflect on negative experiences and people; reflect on the platforms and opportunities you can deploy for making wealth. Ask God to give you witty ideas and concepts with you can create wealth to bring you out of poverty.

A word from God is what you need. The word of God literally takes you into the throne room of God where you will get divine ideas from God on what to do to create wealth. Therefore, have daily contact with the word of God and you will have daily contact with God on how to create sustainable wealth.

Be innovative. Innovation has the power to transform individuals, families, communities, institutions and nations from mediocrity, irrelevance, insignificance and poverty to limelight, relevance, and significance to astounding wealth. Globally, there are a number of innovation economies which are both economic and political forces to reckon with in the world. The power of innovation is reflected in some of the success stories recorded in California which transformed from an agricultural valley to Silicon Valley. The nation of Israel for instance has very little in terms of landmass. Yet Israel is famed for agricultural excellence. Israel does not have diamonds yet they process diamonds and make money from doing so because they have perfected the art of processing diamonds. In essence, they have translated their mental processes into a technology for processing diamonds.

The Import of Associations on Success and Wealth 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Relationships which take you away from God, make you sin against God and other people are not beneficial relationships. Take for instance Amnon, the first son of King David and his cousin and friend, Jonadab. Rather than give wise and godly counsel to Amnon regarding his supposedly affection for Tamar, he advised Amnon to deceive and rape his own sister. Amnon also did not weigh the implications of such an action. So without thinking, consulting someone else for a second opinion, he acted and consequently lost his young life and position to the throne as Absalom, the enraged brother of Tamar refused to forgive Amnon’s stupidity.

Absalom killed Amnon for defiling and humiliating his sister. Compare the ungodly counsel of Jonadab whom the Bible describes as a very crafty man to the very godly and wise counsel of Naomi to Ruth to approach Boaz as their next of kin for her redemption as a widow of one of Naomi’s sons. Because everything was done in a godly manner, Ruth ended up as Boaz’ wife, fulfilled divine purpose and was a blessing to Naomi. The birth of Obed brought untold joy to Naomi as she helped to nurse the young man, an ancestor of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Samson’s unfortunate liaison with Delilah cost him the grace of God upon his life.

Rahab chose to align with the people of God. She alongside members of her family were saved and entered the Promised Land to enjoy the rest of God.

Mary Magdalene chose to follow and worship Jesus Christ. She remains globally famous despite coming from a negative past. Her decision to follow Jesus Christ cancelled out the negative past.

The Import of Associations on Success and Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The book of 1st Kings Chapter 3 verses 1 to 15 gives an interesting account of how associations impact wealth and success.

King Solomon requested for wisdom and became wealthy as he consistently interacted with wisdom. His interaction with wisdom also led him to interact with highly skilled people who implemented projects profitably. For instance, the sustained profitable partnership with Hiram whose knowledgeable sailors knew the sea and sailed to lands where they could trade and bring in gold, silver, ivory, apes and baboons which fetched in more money and more territory for King Solomon. King Solomon also hired highly skilled professionals from Hiram for the building of the temple. Please read 1st Kings Chapters 5 verses 1 to 18, 7 verses 13 to 14.

When the temple was to be built, God recruited highly skilled professionals that He had trained and deposited with divine abilities; not only to do the work but also to teach other people to do the work in order to multiply the number of highly skilled professionals required to do the work. God gave these men, Bezalel and Oholiab to Moses and at the completion of the building of the tabernacle, the Bible records that Moses blessed them for doing the work as instructed by God. Please read Exodus Chapter 39 verses 42 to 43.

MAKE YOUR OWN WEALTH 4

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

It is not a sin to engage in an economic activity. An economic activity is an activity which allows you to trade your God given economic resources for either money or other economic resources such as real estate, gold, silver, stocks in corporations and whatever else you desire.

The Biblical Solomon traded his God given wisdom for gold, silver and other resources. He also traded in horses and chariots within his geographical region and controlled a monopoly of the trade. Together with King Hiram of Tyre, they traded in gold, silver, spices and whatever else could be sourced from far away lands; deploying merchant ships and seasoned sailors who understood the seas and the trade.  Being a king did not stop him from engaging in economic activities.

The virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31 was a wonderful wife, a great mother and a very successful manager of a home; in point of fact, a role model for many generations; yet she engaged in economic activities. She turned a regular domestic activity engaged in by nearly every woman of her time into a very profitable economic activity which generated revenue for the purchase of a field to plant a vineyard, another economic activity which would lead to yet another economic activity. She was a productively busy woman, not an idle moment in unproductive activities and relationships. Every second translated into productive fruitful marital, parental, spiritual, mental, physical, economic and financial activities.

Beloved, there is really no excuse for refusing to engage in an economic activity. You cannot be busier or more saddled with family or community obligations than the virtuous woman. All you need do is to organize your time and activities as well as your relationships so that you have ample time to engage in economic activities.

Significantly and this is quite instructive; she worked from home and outsourced the rest -  getting her supplies from afar; and the management of the vineyard. However, she supervised every one of the activities by paying attention to details. You can do so and even more if you would humbly ask God for the wisdom to do so.

MAKE YOUR OWN WEALTH 3

 Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Take your eyes off other’s wealth. God has given you the power to create wealth, therefore you will create sustainable generational wealth, not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord Who guides you, establishes you in the perfect will of God, plans and purposes as well as divine timing and contacts with the appropriate divine wisdom to create wealth. To Him alone Who is always able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you could ever ask or think of be all the glory in Christ Jesus in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

You can and will create sustainable generational wealth not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord because you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you. Philippians Chapter 4 verse 13 and Zechariah Chapter 4 verse 6, Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 18, Joshua Chapter 1 verse 8.

Therefore, make your own wealth. Invest in the plans and purposes of God for your life, the land God gave you to till, manage so that you will stop wandering and be used by people and institutions who enjoy using the skills and expertise of other people to further their personal ambitions. Laban and Jacob are classic examples. As far as Laban was concerned, Jacob had no business coming unto his own. He was bound to serve Laban and his sons. But God overruled such an evil plan by Laban and gave Jacob his own empire.

Therefore, grow God’s plans and purposes for your life. Be globally and nationally famous for what God asked you to do; your divinely assigned tasks and not tasks in the fields of other people. Stop wandering from the fields of Laban to Asher, Bola or Ifeanyi. Work your land and excel at it. The widow of the indebted prophet sold her oil and not the oil of other people; albeit in borrowed vessels to make an income and living; to stay off debts. You can borrow vessels if need be but do not agree to and bend to servitude. May God help you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

MAKE YOUR OWN WEALTH 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

For many years the widow of the indebted prophet alongside her husband and two sons lived in the consciousness of lack and poverty and therefore had to borrow from family members, friends and neighbours until they maxed themselves out. When her husband died, the creditor could not be bothered about their bereavement. He was concerned about retrieving his money from them by enslaving the two sons of the man in debt servitude.

Suddenly, reality dawned on the widow. Her husband was gone; and now her two sons in debt servitude! Something had to be done to remedy the family situation. She ran to the prophet Elisha.

Beloved, it was possible for the prophet to have given her the money required to pay off the debts and even if the prophet did not own such money, he could have sent her to someone he knew who could pay off the family debt and set them free, albeit; temporarily. This is because they would revert to borrowing again as it was the only way of livelihood they understood. So Elisha took the decision to correct the anomaly of living off borrowing in that family. He taught the woman and her sons to make their own money and wealth by deploying the resources at their disposal no matter how seemingly little or insignificant to make their own wealth.

Make Your Own Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To make you own wealth, you urgently require a spiritual and mental paradigm shift which will prepare you mentally and spiritually to move away from dependency on the wealth of other people. You will need to drop the consciousness of I am created poor; to be dependent on the genuine or stage managed generosity of the rich; to live off their handouts. It is  a self-limiting consciousness which impoverishes and fosters generational poverty in families especially when a member or members of a family accept and internalize that consciousness and through certain consistent utterances and actions convey and transmit the consciousness to their children, siblings, other members of the family as well as neighbours, colleagues, community members and citizens of their nations.

Have you ever noticed that a certain aura of neediness pervades and surrounds people with such a consciousness so that even when they are brought before kings on account of their divine gifts designed to uplift them out of the dust and ash heap positions life; that ugly wealth, dignity and honor dispelling aura shows up so that rather than negotiate positions of power, influence, and wealth with their divine gifts, they request subservient positions so that they remain at the beck and call of the rich forever dependent on their supposed generosity whether genuine or stage managed. That explains why the lame man at the pool in Bethsaida was content to remain there making up excuses of having no one to help him. Those excuses and his inability to see that he had taken on an I am a liability and dependency consciousness and aura was the reason he could not immediately respond positively to Jesus’ question of whether he wanted to be made whole despite the fact that Jesus Christ initiated the conversation and healing process.

In contrast, we see a very proactive Blind Bartimaeus who had a different consciousness and aura – the God given consciousness of I am created to win; I am not created a liability but a blessing to humanity. That explains why he did what he did – deploy the resources at his disposal to get the attention of Jesus – Jesus Whom he could not see and had never seen; Jesus Whom he had heard so much about and Whom Blind Bartimaeus knew could change his status in life – restore his sight so that he would never have to depend on other people for mobility and sight – that way he could take on a job and never have to sit at the roadside to beg. Blind Bartimaeus initiated the process of his interaction with Jesus; subsequent restoration of his sight as well as freedom and deliverance from the supposedly limitations which would have kept him dependent and subservient. Unlike the lame man at Gate Beautiful and the man at the pool in Bethsaida, Blind Bartimaeus refused to be bound. That explains why he initiated the process by literally taking the bull by the horns.  Even when people tried to hush him down, he shouted louder; practically shouting himself hoarse until Jesus paid him attention.

Exercise Dominion in the Marketplace

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Some biblical apostles of the marketplace include but are not limited to:
Joseph who exercised dominion in the political and economic space of Egypt by proffering a food security program which ensured that Egypt had food during and beyond the seven years of severe famine. Please read Genesis Chapter 41.

Moses exercised dominion in the political space of Egypt and led the people of Israel out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Although he did not get to the Promised Land, his feats in Egypt especially in his negotiations with Pharaoh are commendable and lessons in the subject of negotiation.

Joshua exercised dominion in the military and political space of the nations in Canaan. He was a conquistador and led highly successful military expeditions against the nations which Israel dispossessed to take over the Promised Land. He also led in apportioning land to the twelve tribes of Israel. The entire book of Joshua is a great instruction on military expeditions and annexations.

Solomon straddled about every space – he exercised dominion in business, politics, diplomacy, you name it; significantly not only in Israel but in the nations around Israel. He had a monopoly of trade in horses and chariots in the region; was the wisest and wealthiest person in his day. Please read 1st Kings Chapters 3 to 10 for details and insight.

Daniel was a prominent person in the political space of the empires of Babylon and Persia. He served in a number of administrative capacities before rising to become the number two person in the kingdom. Please read Daniel Chapters 1 to 6 for details and inspiration.

The Dynamics of Seeds 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

This also implies that anyone could be a seed sower if they put their minds to it because the truth is that God created everyone with seeds so that the seed should always be planted to produce a harvest of bread and more seeds for planting. But unfortunately, there are people like the wicked lazy servant and the prodigal son; that is when he had not repented who have no intention of planting seeds at all. It is too much trouble for them. They would rather have bread all day; even if it is at the expense and inconvenience of other people. They do not bother about applying themselves in any endeavor. They feel that family members, Church members, neighbors, their communities, their religious organizations, the government, God, everyone, even animals and natural elements of creation owe them an obligation to put bread on their table at all times. That explains why they get angry; are resentful when family members, the Church and people they always expect to put bread on their table refuse to do so because they have asked for bread too often so that making that provision always has become burdensome to family members.

Beloved, watch your life. God did not create you to be a burden to members of your family, Church, community, nation, etc. God created you to be a blessing to your family, Church, community, nation, organization. Therefore, your contribution to the growth of your family, your Church, community and nation should constitute what you always plan to do. Your mental processes should always be filled with how you can become a blessing and not how you can and should siphon blessings from other people. God did not create you to be a leech, preying on other people. Therefore, grow up and stop being a leech, a gold digger and a fortune hunter.

The Dynamics of Seeds

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Seeds are productive resources which multiply and compound when planted and nurtured as they should be; that is to say that they are planted in the right soil where they should be planted and when they should be planted; nurtured the way they should be nurtured. Otherwise, that is to say that if they are not planted where they should be planted; or planted and not nurtured, they could go to waste and never produce a harvest.

The young man void of understanding is an example of someone who planted seed seeds in the right soil but refused to care for them. He lost a great harvest through lack of care simply because he refused to discipline himself.

The prodigal son is a different ball game. He simply did not know that seeds are economic resources, productive resources designed to multiply and compound. That explains why he frittered his financial resources on riotous living – wild parties and heavy drinking which do not yield profits and dividends. If he had invested that money, he would not have come to penury and lack. However, coming to penury and lack was a good thing for him as it helped to clear the foolishness of treating seeds as bread out of his head.

Beloved, the Scripture records that God gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater in 2nd Corinthians Chapter 9 verses 10 to 12. This implies that there are people who are seed sowers – whatever comes to them are regarded as seeds and are planted where and when they should be planted. They do not eat or fritter the seeds. They invest seeds so that the seeds would multiply and compound. These are the people who keep reinvesting their initial capital as well as profits made to expand their business or businesses. They are also the ones who are always developing themselves as career people not just so that they would be promoted but so that their output is enhanced. They are the ones who personally pay to attend workshops and seminars for self-improvement. They are the ones who read and study professional books as well as other books to expand their knowledge base as well as broaden their horizon. They are the ones who network to find opportunities for collaboration. They do stay idle and static; content to work eight to five every day, staring at a computer; doing the daily grind without offering new insight. These seed sowers always have something new, inspiring and profitable to offer to enhance the quality of work they do; to contribute to the growth of the organization and be globally respected.
