Wait for Abundant Harvests

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].  And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.  And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them. And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make [them] afraid. And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God [am] with them, and [that] they, [even] the house of Israel, [are] my people, saith the Lord GOD. And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, [are] men, [and] I [am] your God, saith the Lord GOD. Ezekiel Chapter 34 verses 24 to 31.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians Chapter 6 verse 9.

Seeds, the planting of seeds always precedes harvests. Without planting of seeds, there cannot be harvests. Seeds stored up in a shelf, stashed away on account of greed; refusal to show love and kindness to a person as in the case of Onan who refused to raise up seed to his brother; fear of planting them because the ground is not good enough; deferring them to a better soil or season do not produce harvests because they are not planted on grounds chosen by God so that God can breathe His increase and multiplication upon them.

The law of harvest is predicated on planting. Please read Genesis Chapters 8 verse 22; 26 verses 12 to 14, Ecclesiastes Chapter 11 verses 1 to 6, Psalm 126 verses 5 to 6, Zechariah Chapter 8 verse 12 and Isaiah Chapter 30 verse 23. This is why the key to harvests is planting, planting seeds by the leading of the Holy Spirit. If for instance Isaac had simply dwelt in Gerar in obedience to God (Genesis Chapter 26 verses 1 to 6) without planting any seeds, there would have been no bountiful harvest which made him prosperous (verses 1 to 14). The seeds which Isaac planted diligently coupled with his obedience to God produced the bountiful harvests.

In like manner, tithing and giving of offerings without a corresponding planting of seeds cannot translate to abundant harvest. Seeds have to be planted and seeds in this case refer to the work of your hands which could be agriculture, education, the creative industry, financial industry and whatever industry you are in. Plant the seeds of your industry by diligently working when you should and you will reap bountiful harvest in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The fields will always be white for harvest; not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, wait for the harvest because seed time and harvest time do not cease. God Who orchestrates and always gives bountiful harvests knows how best to make your planted seeds grow, multiply and bring forth abundant harvests. Therefore, do not be afraid of laboring in vain especially when you are specifically directed by the Spirit of God to plant quality seeds where other people dread to do so.

Do not be like the eater who always has bread to eat; just bread and no seeds to sow to reap bountiful harvests of both seed and bread which multiply and compound into abundant harvests. Yes, bread can and should be requested for on a daily basis. Please read Matthew Chapter 6 verse 11, Luke Chapter 11 verse 3, 14 verses 12 to 14 and Proverbs Chapter 19 verse 17. But seeds should always be requested for and planted when due. Beloved, pray that God in His infinite mercy and grace will grant you the grace to always sow seeds as He would have you do in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Thank God for this revelation knowledge that will propel you into great abundance and wealth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
