The Secret to Rehoboth

Rehoboth refers to expansion, actually wide open spaces to expand, to bear more fruit, to prosper, to flourish, to stretch out, and to increase on every side. But such spaces do not fall on anyone like a bag of cherries. They are gifts from God for the attainment of divine purpose.

Beloved, Jehovah El-Shaddai, the Lord is Your Shepherd. Rather allow God to shepherd you. God Who is your faithful source and ever present provider will always supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

The secret to Rehoboth is to walk away from strife and contention. Therefore, refuse to contend with anyone over anything be they material resources, financial resources, anything whatsoever. Beloved, refuse to be part of contention and strife over resources. Wherever people are contending over resources, take a walk which will ultimately lead you to God’s green pastures for you.

Abraham walked away from contention over resources and he got Canaan as a permanent possession. Lot who chose the verdant land of Sodom and Gomorrah lost everything. Emulate Abraham, Isaac, and the Apostles in the Early Church; and significantly follow in the steps of Jesus Christ, the Creator of the heavens and the earth Who lived among humans yet did not contend with anyone over any resource despite the fact that He owns everything.

Isaac walked away from the strife and contention in Gerar and God gave him Rehoboth. Significantly, the same people who constantly contended with him over resources were the people who came to him at Rehoboth. Please read the entire chapter of Genesis 26 for insight.

Make Yourself Visible – Global Visibility

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew Chapter 5 verses 14 to 16

A huge crowd followed Jesus, the reason being that they were attracted by the miracles they saw Him perform among the sick; and the reason for the miracles was that He was teaching the people the word of God as well as the ways of God. Please read Luke Chapters 5 verse 17, 4 verse 43 and 6 verses 17 to 19. It is also significant to note that His teaching sessions were always preceded by prayers; prayers He prayed alone with God before interfacing with the multitudes. Please read Luke Chapters 5 verse 16 and 6 verse 12. Jesus kept preaching, teaching and praying while on planet earth as human. Beloved, you can learn from Jesus Christ whose primary goal was to reconcile humanity to God and not just to attract a following.

You can attract a huge crowd around you if you focus on achieving divine purpose rather than just getting a following. Focus on God and what He wants you to do and not what you think you should be doing. The publicity and the fame is not the work. The work is implementing and fulfilling divine purpose to bring about positive transformation in the lives of people. People who run after fame and publicity fade like roses after a while; here today and gone tomorrow. But purpose driven people are timeless and relevant.

Deploy social media to great advantage and make yourself visible globally. But ensure you have a message which brings about transformation to the lives of people so that the quality of their lives is greatly improved.

Grow your audience. It is not a one off activity. It is a process, daily, weekly, monthly, annual activity which requires great diligence. The key is to keep adding to your existing number of followers and friends on social media irrespective of how large the audience appears to be. No audience is ever large enough for the people God wants to reach through you. KEEP ADDING. However, if you allow God to guide you in growing your audience, you will realize that certain people God led you to follow and those who are following you is to achieve divine purpose.

Write Your Way to Wealth

You can actually write your way to wealth by generating life transforming content, which is engaging and enriching. Some very wealthy writers are J.K.Rowling and Linda Ikeji

You will need to collect the resources you require to write whatever it is you need to write by collecting your thoughts on what you want to write about. This refers to high quality of thoughts – carefully thought out ideas and words, phrases, paragraphs, opening, middle and closing paragraphs. That is why you must be diligent in the production of your books, blogsposts, videos and podcasts. You should pay attention to details, dot every i and cross every t; be certain that whatever you write is what God wants to say to His people and not necessarily what you think He should say or you should say or add to what God wants to say to His people.

You will also need to collect any other additional information which you may require to ensure you have great content. This means that you will write with greater depth, knowledge, understanding and wisdom to bring divine transformation in the lives of the people God wants you to write for. It also implies that you do not always have to state the obvious in your writing. People already know the obvious. What people want is how the obvious can be applied to the daily grind of their lives to bring about their desired expectations and transformation. So it is not about quantity but quality - what exactly God wants to bless His people with, what will bring God’s healing unction on and to the nations. What is therefore key and strategic is that your writing impacts and transforms lives for God.     

Do not write to please the world, the way other supposedly successful writers are writing. Write to please God and God will raise faithful followers, buyers and reviewers for you. Writing and publishing is a great tool and platform to take the message, the word, the prophecies God has for His people to the nations of the world. It is not necessarily boarding flights to several destinations in the world. The books will go where you cannot go, the podcasts and videos too will also go where you cannot go.

The gift of writing and related gifts such as editing, publishing, book reviews, marketing, research, training, speaking are for money making and not necessarily for frivolities or working the lands of other people for free. Use your gift of writing and related skills to make money in addition to writing and selling your own books. Therefore, write and publish books, blog posts; do not give up or give in. Post. Publish and sell until you see the desired results.

The seven skinny cows (and also the seven thin and withered heads of grain) indicate that there will be seven years of famine following the seven years of prosperity.  … Joseph's suggestions were well received by Pharaoh and his assistants. As they discussed who should be appointed for the job, Pharaoh said, who could do it better than Joseph? For he is a man who is obviously filled with the Spirit of God. Turning to Joseph, Pharaoh said to him, since God has revealed the meaning of the dreams to you, you are the wisest man in the country! I am hereby appointing you to be in charge of this entire project. What you say goes throughout all the land of Egypt. I alone will outrank you. Then Pharaoh placed his own signet ring on Joseph's finger as a token of his authority, and dressed him in beautiful clothing and placed the royal gold chain about his neck and declared, See, I have placed you in charge of all the land of Egypt. …..   Genesis Chapter 41, TLB, The Family Devotions Bible.

You can and should unlock the billions and trillions as well as the billions in you by honing the problem solving skills God deposited in you at creation. The biblical Daniel rose to great wealth, prestige, power and honor in the empires of Babylon, Persia and the Medes by solving problems for the different Kings he served under. You can and should also increase your sphere of influence by solving problems for the right people who can pay you well.

Daniel for instance started out as a trainee in the King’s court. His outstanding performance at graduation time earned him a place in the inner court. That is to say that he served the King directly; significantly alongside his three friends. But that was only the start point for Daniel as God had both prepared and positioned him for greater works in order to exercise a greater sphere of influence in the Babylonian, Medo-Persian and later the Persian Empire.

Progressively, Daniel moved up the ladder from serving the King directly to taking charge of weightier matters of state for the King.

SELL! SELL!! SELL!!!

Deliberately position yourself, your goods and services to be globally visible. Hire a publicist if you need to do so. Also, ask God to have mercy on you and help you get global publicity on a daily basis as well as missionary customers in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen and thank You, Jesus.

Advertise your products and services to your target audience. Do it daily, weekly and monthly to keep the products and services on the front burner as well as keep the fire burning. Please read Mark Chapter 7 verse 36.  You can also intersperse ads of your products and services with whatever you share on social media and your blogs, YOUTUBE channels. Sustained daily adverts on all known social media platforms will stretch global visibility to as long as its elasticity allows.

Twitter for instance appears to be a platform for writers, authors, book publishers, buyers, marketers, promoters, reviewers, readers, bloggers, etc. Therefore advertise daily on twitter if you are an author of books in order to connect with people globally to share information about your books as well as mobilize people to support a cause or campaign in any of your books.

The Wisdom of Charitable Acts

Wisdom is the ability to use knowledge, the gift of knowing what to do when you do not know what to do. That is why the Bible refers to wisdom as the principal thing. In all thy getting, get wisdom.

Wisdom is the gateway to life – life in Christ Jesus and the numerous benefits of a life in Christ. Wisdom is a byproduct of a fervent loving relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Wealth, true wealth in Christ Jesus is a byproduct of wisdom.

Wisdom is what grants a person loved by God and who is also in love with God through Christ Jesus access to wealth, endurable or sustainable wealth /riches. Material and financial affluence are byproducts of wealth, a byproduct of wisdom.

Problem solving skills are a gift from God to enrich you. They should therefore not be thrown at swine. Mother Teresa possessed incredible problem solving skills which she used for the benefit of the poor and vulnerable in society.

Was Mother Teresa wealthy? Yes and if permit me, she was very very wealthy, in point of fact, a trillionaire. How? She fed many poor people, sheltered many homeless people, cared for and nursed a number of sick people back to health, put smiles on the faces of many people who had lost hope and confidence. Mother Teresa restored hope to the hopeless and gave dignity to those society had cast away. She was truly wealthy as she sacrificed what could have been a life of comfort and luxury for the poor and vulnerable in India to have life and dignity. Her wealth cannot actually be defined or categorized.

The wisdom of charitable acts is wealth untold. When you feed the poor and vulnerable; and enrich the lives of other people with great acts of kindness, then you are truly wealthy in Christ Jesus.

IT IS POSSIBLE.  Wealth does not reside in the stratosphere. Wealth resides in your mind. Therefore, dig the wealth you desire and which other people require from you out of your mind by thinking creatively and strategically on how to access great wealth as well as bless humanity with great wealth.

A fervent loving relationship with God is always a precursor to great wealth. King Solomon chose to invest in such a relationship with God. God rewarded him with great wisdom, great wealth and long life. People came from far and wide and blessed him with great wealth. He also invested in businesses, working with people from other nations. While creating personal and national wealth, King Solomon also made other people wealthy. The people who worked for him also became wealthy from doing businesses with him and working for him.

God is awesome. He granted King Solomon divine access to great wealth, a clear demonstration of what is recorded in Proverbs Chapter 8 verses 13 to 21, Isaiah Chapters 45 verses 1 to 3 and 60. It is also quite significant and instructive to know that King Solomon did not sit pretty to wait for the divinely promised wealth to land on him like a bag of cherries. He activated the wealth by investing in businesses; partnering with people who knew and understood them.

Secondly, King Solomon had great integrity. He did not undercut anyone of his partners in the process of doing business with them. He also shared profits with them. It was a win win for everyone concerned. It is also not on record that the people who bought goods from King Solomon’s partners complained of being cheated or being supplied with low quality goods.
