Hidden Riches of Secret Places

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The hidden riches of secret places or treasures of darkness mentioned in Isaiah Chapter 45 verse 3 are God’s treasures to you, which you may or may not know about. You may even know about them but have no idea how to unlock them for both your personal benefit and that of humanity. However, the can be unlocked through a deep fervent consecrated relationship with God. Some classic and timeless Biblical examples include Joseph, Daniel, Bezalel, Oholiab, Solomon.

The information regarding how to unlock the hidden riches of secret places as well as the treasures of darkness are not in the public domain. They are with God and in the hands of God. They are the blessings of the deep, the blessings of heaven, of the womb and the breasts, the blessings that God pours out when He opens the windows of heaven for you. In essence, they are trade secrets, secrets you keep to your chest as they are not for everyone. That is why the Bible refers to them as hidden riches of secret places; treasures of darkness, blessings of the deep, the womb and the breasts. They have to be searched out, unlocked; so to speak from God. How?

Daniel for instance requested for answers to the king’s dream as well as its interpretation from God and God gave him the answers. Please see Daniel Chapter 2 verses 16 to 19. The Bible records that the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. This implies that it was a divine secret that Daniel accessed through prayers and that divine secret opened the doors for Daniel’s greatness, honor, fame, wealth and great desirability in Babylon.

Divine secrets should be jealously guarded. They should never be placed in the public domain as they are not meant for everyone. Recall that Daniel did not share the revelation with his three friends who prayed with him. He only shared it with the King. Food for thought, I suppose. Beloved, stop blabbing about divine secrets that God gave you to prosper in order to lift you out of poverty and obscurity into global relevance, significance, desirability, honor and wealth.

God loves you and wants the very best for you which is why He gave you the hidden riches of secret places, treasures of darkness in order to prosper you. Blabbing about your divine treasures especially; to people who cannot reward you commensurately for those treasures, waters down the value of the hidden riches of secret places. Therefore, you must keep God’s divine secrets to you to your chest so that you can profit by them. The Prophet Elisha instructed the widow of the indebted prophet to shut the door behind her while pouring the oil into the borrowed vessels. It is significant to note that it was only after she finished packaging the oil that she received further instructions to go sell the oil, advertise, market and sell the product. The indebted widow of the prophet shut the door behind her until the product was packaged for sale. She paid off her debts and became financially free.

It is also ironic that the couple always had oil in the house yet the late husband piled up huge debts that would take his two sons into debt slavery.  But for God’s intervention through Elisha when the widow cried out; they would never have known and appreciated the significance of the jar of oil referred to as only; probably despised and considered inconsequential; of no value to them. But that jar of oil whose real value was not known to them all along; a hidden riches of secret places, a treasure of darkness, a treasure hidden in the sand, an abundance of the sea paid off the debts of the family and also provided sustainable income for the family.

The hidden riches of secret places are meant to benefit both the recipient of the secrets as well as humanity. Joseph’s ability to interpret the dreams of the butler and baker; and much later Pharaoh culminated in his lifting from the dust and ash heap positions of life he found himself in while in Egypt. Every hidden riches of secret places should move you up in the ladder of life. God does not give you kingdom keys for wealth such as wisdom and then expect you to remain poor, beggarly and ridiculed in life. Therefore, prosper economically with your God given wisdom because divine wisdom always enriches. Solomon, Joseph, Daniel, Nehemiah and Mordecai were enriched and uplifted because they operated in divine wisdom. King Solomon was both wise and wealthy. The world sought him out and even added to his wealth. But the poor wise man described in Ecclesiastes Chapter 9 verses 14 to 16 was not remembered even after his wisdom brought deliverance to the city. He probably lacked the wisdom to negotiate for wealth with the wisdom he had for delivering the land.

Therefore always add wealth to your wisdom so that your words do not get despised like the wise but poor man. Shalom.
