The Power of Seeds

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD [is] upright: [he is] my rock, and [there is] no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 92 verses 12 to 15

Seeds will always grow, fruit to harvest and produce both bread and more seeds for planting and harvest, thereby setting in motion the laws of increase through addition, multiplication, compounding and geometric progression. Seeds then are the ingredients for fruitfulness while fruitfulness leads to increase in life through addition, multiplication and compounding.

Seeds are the potentials of greatness if you know what to do with them.  This is because you can only fruit when you understand the seeds God blessed you with. Significantly, the importance of seeds is that seeds ensure sustainability which explains why God deposited the seeds in you at creation. Until you discover your seeds, you cannot fruit. Do you recognize your seeds? The seeds were there even before you got saved and it is even possible that the areas of your sins are seeds that were misguided. In such a case, what to do is turn them around for God so that you can begin to fruit as originally designed for you by God from the foundation of the world. Please also take time to study His word and fellowship with Him so that you will correctly identify your seeds, know exactly what God wants you to do with the seeds so that He alone will make you fruitful to the glory of His holy name.

Wisdom for Seed Planting 1

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Seeds vary. There are agricultural seeds, spiritual seeds, financial seeds, emotional seeds, physical seeds, reproductive seeds, academic seeds, technological seeds, etc. whatever seeds you are blessed with, please note that a major characteristic of seeds is to reproduce themselves through addition, multiplication and compounding only after they are planted.

Plant your seeds on good ground so that they can germinate, grow, bud, flourish to harvests so that you can have great and abundant harvests. That way you will not waste precious seed especially quality seeds. Seeds are divinely designed to be planted on good ground to grow and bear good fruit for great harvests. Please see Genesis Chapters 8 verse 22, and 26 verses 12 to 14. They are not designed to be trampled down and devoured by the birds of the air as in the case of the seeds that fell by the wayside. The wayside was open, exposed and was actually a thoroughfare for anyone, just anyone including people who had no respect for seeds. So the seeds were trampled down and with no protection whatsoever, they were devoured by birds. Please note the choice of words – trampled down because they were not sown in the right place; beneath the earth in specially selected land areas designated for growing seed and secured from human and animal traffic. The seeds are further secured by planting them beneath the earth; safe from predatory animals and birds as well as unobservant and who knows insensitive human passersby.

Share for Profit

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You have more than enough because God has destroyed the yoke of insufficiency. Insufficiency is a mental and spiritual stronghold with which the enemy keeps a person in a state of perpetual lack, inability to meet pressing needs because resources are always insufficient. It manifests in never having enough and there is never enough, therefore, you do not share what you have. When you do not share resources, they do not multiply and compound because you have not put any seed on the ground for God to multiply and compound.

Significantly, what makes you refuse to share is because you believe the lie of the enemy that you do not have enough and therefore what you have cannot and should not be shared. That lie is what then keeps a person in the bondage of insufficiency. Unfortunately, this is a time tested strategy of the enemy to keep people in the bondage of insufficiency.

But if you believe the truth of the word of God that God will always supply all your resources according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, then you will always share what you have knowing that God is the One Who will always supply your needs and not necessarily the resources at your disposal. The resources at your disposal are most often seeds for sowing that should be planted to produce great harvests. Please see John Chapter 12 verse 24, Ecclesiastes Chapter 11 verses 1 to 6, Zechariah Chapter 8 verse 12, Isaiah Chapter 30 verse 23 and Luke Chapter 6 verse 38.
