Money is a tool
for implementing some aspects of divine purposes and not a tool for elevating
status, becoming proud, obnoxious, oppressive and rude.
} Money pays your
bills. Goodwill does not.
} Therefore, work
for money and not goodwill.
} Making money is
not a sin.
} The Bible condemns
the love of money, greed and mammon worship, fraudulent means of making money.
} Jesus demonstrated
the significance of making money and money management
} The Bible supports money making , Excerpts
from Unlock the Billions in You by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha
How
to Find the Money
Engage
in a financially rewarding activity:
} Produce
something of value – the virtuous woman, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Nabal.
} Sell something –
Lydia, the widow of the indebted prophet.
} Provide a
service – David, Joseph, Daniel, Jacob, Moses, the Apostles
} Partnerships –
King Solomon, Apostle Paul, the Virtuous woman
} Multiple income
streams – King Solomon, the virtuous woman, Jehoshaphat, Job
Define Your
Assets:
} Know and
understand your intangible and tangible assets.
} Every gift of
God has huge economic potentials if the economic value of such gifts are
recognized and the gifts are appropriately processed, packaged and sold to the
right audience.
} The widow of the
indebted prophet had no idea of the value of what she owned which explains why
she referred to it as nothing but a jar of oil. She did not see the economic
value of that jar of oil, the huge potentials in a jar of oil becoming an
overflowing oil well serving the oil needs of so many people once appropriately
packaged and marketed to the right target audience. Fortunately, she was
submissive to the authority of the prophet and was obedient to his
instructions.
} That
opened her eyes to the huge economic potentials in the jar of oil as well as
the fact that what was required to deal with the financial challenge of
indebtedness that was fast progressing to a generational economic challenge was
in her hands, right in her home and nowhere else.
} Beloved, do you
know the economic value of what is in your hand, what you own and trivialize?
} Perhaps! But if
you don’t, ask God to open your eyes of understanding to the true worth of who
you are and what you own. Hagar was
crying for a bottle of water when a well that would serve as a water bottling
factory was within reach.
} Look deeply, ask
questions, seek counsel, pray and ask God for wisdom. What you need to break
what appears to be a spell is in your hands if only you will look deeply and
ask the right questions.
} Therefore,
define your assets and touch the money.
Networking and
Collaboration
} Spiritual,
Physical, Mental, Online, Phone calls, SMSes
} No man is an
island.
} Identify
opportunities for collaboration.
} Find platforms
to leverage on the strengths of other people and institutions.
} Everyone no
matter how seemingly small or insignificant they appear have strengths.
} It takes divine
wisdom and insight for you to see such strengths and latch on to them.
Publicize what
you do
} Use publicity
for mileage and not for the purpose of personal fame.
} Mileage
increases your network, sphere of influence as well as people to IMPACT with
divine purpose.
} Therefore,
separate personal fame/interest from MILEAGE for the achievement of divine
purpose.
Always
Obey God
The
following biblical characters obeyed God and were successful financially.
} King Solomon
} Abraham
} Isaac
} Joseph
} Hezekiah
} Jehoshaphat
} The widow of the
indebted prophet
} Peter – when he
let down his boat for a catch and when he went to fish to source the tax money
– Luke Chapter 5 verses 1 to 10.
