The power to get
wealth is preceded by the power to lay down. It is impossible to provoke giving
without the power to lay down. . You must first lay down before you receive. This
is the secret of increase. Increase your giving and you will increase your
capacity to get wealth. Every seed you sow always multiplies and compounds.
There is a progression – as Isaac sowed in the land, he kept waxing great,
growing from one level of greatness to another.
The possible outcomes of giving include unanticipated progress to the
next level. GIVING therefore INCREASES INCOME;, GIVING CAN WARD OFF DANGERS.

In Deuteronomy
Chapter 16 verse 17, the Bible instructs believers to give according to the
blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you. No one should appear
before God empty and you give from what God has blessed with you. This implies
that God will always bless you but He also expects a worship portion from that
blessing through the giving of tithes and generous offerings in His house.

Giving should be a
matter of generosity and not a grudging obligation. Please see 2nd
Corinthians Chapter 9 verses 5 to 7. Jesus Christ became poor so that you and I
can be rich. Please see 2nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9. Make a
conscious decision to always do something valuable for the kingdom by giving to
the needy especially people who are genuinely in need. The Church is in need of
so many things for the propagation of the gospel. It is important to take
cognizance of the needy in the Church and the society. This gives you credit in
eternity as acts of ministering to the saints. Please see Galatians Chapter 6
verses 9 to 10, Hebrews Chapter 6 verse 10 and Matthew Chapter 6 verses 1 to 4.
In Luke Chapter 5
verse 10, the Bible records that Peter lent his boat and gave his time. What do
you have that you can put down for kingdom use? Are you able to release what is
valuable, what you treasure for kingdom use? Whatever you are able to put down
for the sake of the gospel will yield a hundredfold return. A hundredfold return
is a turnaround blessing and it is achievable. Please see Acts Chapter 4 verse 34.
Do not be a modern day Ananias and Sapphira. You are created to be a channel of
blessing. One of the secrets to a glorious future is to be a channel of God’s
blessings. Please see Please see Acts Chapter 20 verse 35. 2nd
Corinthians Chapter 8 verses 2 to 5 and Proverbs Chapter 19 verse 6. Beloved,
it is to your benefit to abound in the grace of giving. Therefore, pursue maximum benefits by being a
blessing to people. Genesis Chapter 12 verse 2 applies to as many as would want
to be carriers of Abraham’s blessings.
