Wealthier than the Palms

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The palm tree with its several varieties is said to one of the richest trees. This is because of the several uses to which about every part of the tree can be put to. The palm tree has multiple uses; it is used for making brooms, baskets, mats, brushes, etc.   Every part of the palm tree is useful as nothing is wasted. The fruit which is noted for its sweetness also has many uses.

There are over two thousand species of the palm tree but in this context, the date palm will be used. The palm tree has an average size of forty to fifty feet. The very tall ones get to a hundred feet and last for hundreds of years, say about four hundred years. The palm tree is noted for its hidden life – no amount of tampering destroys it. This speaks of stability and durability.  It is also not easy to uproot a palm tree. This is because it has a deep tap root that travels down for nourishment which explains why it is usually not affected by drought except in very severe cases of drought.  The root of the palm tree is deep and goes deep into the soil until it strikes the spring of water and then feeds the entire tree with water therefore making the tree fruitful. The palm tree is thus evergreen, always fresh and beautiful. You can also have such eternal freshness in Jesus mighty name, daily blossoming, bearing fruit and attractive. Please see Psalm 92 verse 12, Psalm 125 verse 1 and Psalm 1 verse 3. This also speaks of continuity in fruit bearing meaning that your life becomes sweeter each day in Jesus mighty name. Fatness refers to wealth, prosperity and riches while flourishing refers to spontaneous and luxurious growth.
God is saying that you are wealthier than the palm tree. This is because the gift of God in you, the Holy Spirit – living water; and the Word of God will make you prosperous and have good success. God prunes with His word which is also the washing of water by the word in Ephesians Chapter 5 verse 26 and as He prunes, a person becomes more fruitful and bears more fruit, in fact fruit that abides as stated in John Chapter 15 verse 16.  As your fruit abides, addition, multiplication and compounding becomes the norm in your life paving room for great increase that ushers in overwhelming abundance. That is why you are wealthier than the palm tree. Make use of every divine deposit in you to bear fruit, more fruit, abiding fruit and experience exponential increase and durable riches in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

As I close, please permit me to prophesy that nothing about you should be and shall be wasted again in Jesus mighty name. It will be abounding success (Psalm 1 verses 1 to 3, Joshua Chapter 1 verse 8, Jeremiah Chapter 17 verses 7 to 8, John Chapter 4 verses 1 to 15, Ephesians Chapter 5 verse 26, and John Chapter 15 verses 1 to 2) and relevance. Something good and wonderful will come out of your life in Jesus mighty name. Shalom.
