Prepare for Abundance 3

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Do what God asks of you and He will supply the abundance you require in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The keyword is PREPARE.

Jesus Christ asked the servants at the wedding feast in Canaan to fill the water pots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. Six water pots filled to the brim speaks of adequate preparation for abundance as the Bible records that the six water pots were about one hundred and eighty gallons of water, albeit, one hundred and eighty gallons of wine. Quite significant and instructive is the fact that the only task assigned the servants in preparation for the forthcoming abundance was to fill all six water pots to the brim. The turning of the water into wine was the task and responsibility of Jesus Christ for as soon as the water pots were filled to the brim, Jesus asked them to draw some “supposedly water” out to give to the Master of the feast. Upon tasting the supposedly water now turned wine, in point of fact very good wine, the master of the feast commended the bridegroom for reserving the good wine till the end of the feast. Please read John Chapter 2 verses 1 to 10. It is significant to note that what appeared to be a situation of lack that was about to bring disgrace and reproach to the family turned out to be a situation of surplus, overflowing abundance because God in His infinite mercies intervened and quite instructive is the fact that the people obeyed the divine instruction to prepare for abundance. The result was the miraculous supply of abundant wine at the wedding feast.

Break with Tradition 3

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Severally, Jesus Christ broke tradition. He healed a number of sick people such as the bent over woman (Luke Chapter 13 verses 10 to 16); the man with palsy (Luke Chapter 14 verses 1 to 6) on the Sabbath day. He also requested drink from a woman of Samaria; what was not acceptable to the Jews and the Samaritans. The fact that this request culminated in the salvation of the residents and indigenes of a whole city speaks to the benefits of sometimes breaking with tradition. Please see John Chapter 4 verses 1 to 42 for details.

The ten lepers cried to Jesus to ask for mercy. They expected to be healed immediately but Jesus did not pronounce the word of healing. Rather, Jesus asked them to go and present themselves to the priests. Fortunately, they were wise enough to obey Jesus. The Bible records that as they proceeded to the priests abode or temple; they were cleansed. Their obedience to the instruction of God through Jesus Christ gave them complete healing. They could have argued that there was no point going to the priests since they were not yet cleansed. They could have refused to obey. After all they asked to be cleansed, a prerequisite to showing themselves to the priests. And rather than heal them, Jesus sent them to the priests – to be humiliated or driven away from decent society? But as they obeyed, journeying to the priest, they received their healing and could confidently show themselves to the priests. In point of fact, one of them returned to give thanks to Jesus when he noticed that they were cleansed on their way to the priests.

Move to Rehoboth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

It is difficult to be fruitful in the place of strife and contention, a form of thorns. Though Isaac dug wells that contained water in Gerar; the herdsmen of Gerar contended over the well. Very wisely, Isaac moved from the area of contention and dug another well. Fortunately, they found water and named the place Rehoboth since there was no contention. Additionally, Isaac declared that God had made for them to be fruitful so they could flourish and blossom in the land.

Beloved, God blesses the work of our hands but if that work is deliberately and intentionally sown among thorns, then there is a problem. How, you may ask? God does ask people to sow among thorns. I am sure that is one of the reasons Jesus Christ gave the parable of the sower. I may be wrong but I adduce this from the Scripture on everything written is for our learning and experience. Also, the fact that thorns exist on a ground shows that the ground is already occupied so why plant on a place already occupied, especially by thorns? And even if you must plant there; why not weed out the thorns first and then treat the ground to ensure that that there are no more thorns hiding underground that can take root again when good seeds are planted on that ground. if you have not taken all these precautions and you go ahead to plant on thorns; beloved you are thinking and saying that you can and have the power to compel God to bless your disobedience by deliberately sowing on a ground that contains self destructive properties. How can God bless such planting? How do you expect His blessing to rest on a ground that will of its own volition; without any external prodding or influence or interference destroy itself?

Wisdom for Seed Planting 4

 Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Before embarking on the journey of seed planting it will be worth your while to make a distinction between good ground and thorns. This is because a ground may be good to plant on but if it is full of thorns, what happens to the crops planted on that good ground? The plants will definitely grow but the thorns will always choke them and who knows what will happen. Is it then wise to sow among thorns? Please see Matthew Chapter 13 verses 7, 22.

Both wayside ground and rock could not provide what the seeds required to thrive – earth to protect the seeds from being trampled down and devoured; and moisture for the nourishment of the seeds. On the other hand, the ground with thorns provided both security and moisture yet had self destructive properties which ensured that the young plants did not grow beyond a certain level.

The wayside ground seeds were afflicted by external factors, people walking along the way and birds flying over the wayside whose sharp eyes spotted the seeds though trampled and devoured them. The rock lacked water and moisture; also external factors as rocks neither manufacture water nor retain water.

But the ground with thorns had an internal self destructive mechanism – the thorns which had no room and zero tolerance for anything that would benefit humanity. Thorns do not benefit humanity and one would have expected them to be pleased to have plants which would benefit humanity grow beside them. No way as they choked the life out of the plants. Thorns have no good intention towards anyone or anything and do not benefit anyone in any way. They are destructive and would always destroy as they always bring about destruction. A thorn infested ground no matter how fertile is not good ground.

Wisdom for Seed Planting 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Significantly, your seed is God’s divine deposit in you for you to become sought after and great in life. If you do not respect, value it and trade it for profit by paying attention to it, how then will you become sought after, great, wealthy and successful? Please see Proverbs Chapter 27 verses 23 to 27. The Bible standard is for you to diligently pay attention to; nurture and care for whatever God blessed you with to a profit.

To do this you have to find an enabling environment to plant your seeds so that they are like pearls cast before swine. For example the seeds which fell on rock sprouted but they withered away because they lacked moisture. Moisture is critical to the survival of pants. Unfortunately, rocks do not retain water; therefore will not have moisture to sustain the growth of any plant. Besides, rocks take the toll of hot sunshine especially in tropical regions and on very sunny days. No plant no matter how resilient can survive in such an environment. The sprouted seeds withered away as quickly as they had sprouted. What a shame, what a pity! The bottom line is to avoid environments that are not conducive to the growth and fruition of your seed as such environments are inimical to your success. The wayside environment did not even give the seeds that fell on it a chance to germinate like the rock did. However, the growth transient – germinate to wither and not to fruit. This is not the will of God for anyone endowed with divine seeds. It is my prayer that God in His infinite mercy will forbid such evil in your life in Jesus mighty name.

Seed Time and Harvest

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

It is always God’s design that we receive a harvest and usually the harvest is often more than the seed planted. Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22, Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verse 2, Philippians Chapter 4 verses 14 to 19, Galatians Chapter 6 verse 9. It is not a one way traffic of just giving but a two way traffic of giving and receiving. Please see Mark Chapter 4 verses 26 to 29 and Hebrews Chapter 4.

A major prerequisite of abundant harvests is planting of seeds. Seeds differ. A fertile soil is another major prerequisite for abundant harvests. The seed must also be quality seed. There is a relationship between water and abundant harvests. Water is one of the ingredients for nourishment and growth – Ezekiel Chapter 17 verses 5 to 8, 19 verse 10, Jeremiah Chapter 17 verse 8, Psalm 1 verse 3, Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 7, 11 verses 10 to 15, Leviticus Chapter 26 verses 4 to 5, 9 to 10, Job Chapter 14 verses 7 to 9, Psalm 68 verses 8 to 9, 104 verses 13 to 17, Numbers Chapter 24 verses 6 to 7. Patience is required for the seed to go through the processes required for the abundant harvests to come. Every planting begets harvests albeit abundant harvests. Please see Luke Chapter 6 verse 38, Genesis Chapter 49, Isaiah Chapter 22, Isaiah Chapter 35 verses 6 to 7, 41 verses 17 to 20, 43 verses 19 to 20, 44 verses 1 to 4, 32 verse 20, Ecclesiastes Chapter 11 verse 1. Other Scriptures on abundant harvests – Psalms 147 verses 8 to 9, 126 verses 5 to 6, 107 verses 35 to 38, 92 verses 12 to 15, 85 verse 12, 65 verses 9 to 13, 67 verses 5 to 6, 72 verse 8.

Partner with Sound Minds

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Sound minds create wealth. There is a correlation between a sound mind, sound words, sound doctrine, sound speech and wealth. Please see 2nd Timothy Chapter 1 verses 7, 13, 4 verse 3, Titus Chapter 2 verse 8. Partnering with sound minds can take on different forms – organizational partnerships, individual partnerships, ministry partnerships, employee/employer partnerships, as well as engaging the services of vendors and artisans. It could also be delegation. No matter the coloration of partnerships, the persons must be skilled. Please see 1st Chronicles Chapter 25 verses 1, 7 (skilled ministers of music). They served under their father who was knowledgeable and who transferred the skills. They were also instructed in the songs of the Lord – they were knowledgeable and not ignorant.

David was a skilfull instrumentalist and was subsequently recommended to King Saul’s service. Please see 1st Kings Chapter 5 verse 6. The Sidonians were skilled in cutting timber and subsequently were invited by King Solomon to supply timber for the building of the temple and the King’s palace. Please see 1st Kings Chapter 7 verses 13 to 14. Huram was skilled in working with all kinds of bronze work. Please see 2nd Chronicles Chapter verses 6, 13 to 14.

Mental prowess should also be a major consideration in choosing partners. Partners who have intellectual prowess, people who think, who think issues through, who have analytical powers, who strategize, who proffer solutions – people like the Biblical Jethro, Joseph, Daniel, Abigail, the virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31, the wise woman for her people skills are partners that would move your enterprise up the ladder of wealth and success any day.

An Idea Is an Empire

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

An idea is usually intangible. It starts as a thought and grows as an expanded thought. This implies that ideas are thoughts expanded through creative but strategic thinking processes. Such processes should ideally be dependent on the Holy Spirit. Thoughts expanded to ideas create with the word of God birthing businesses, scientific inventions and what have you.  This is to say that ideas which originated as a thought (s) in the hearts of men and women over time expanded to the institutions, technologies, innovations, fashion etc that bless humanity today. Therefore, think more, process thoughts, ideas, evaluate and reevaluate them, including the jobs at hand to see how you can convert them to empires. Review what you do, what has been done and how it can be improved upon to grow beyond what it is now to the empire God designed it to be from the foundation of the world.

Everything God created is designed to multiply because embedded in every creation of God is the capacity for fruitfulness. Even nature teaches us that fruitfulness leads to multiplication and in some cases compounding. In like manner, an idea that is well thought out; implemented in the right place, at the right time and with the right people definitely turns out right, blooms and flourishes beyond the original implantation stage to become an empire.

Wealthier than the Palms

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The palm tree with its several varieties is said to one of the richest trees. This is because of the several uses to which about every part of the tree can be put to. The palm tree has multiple uses; it is used for making brooms, baskets, mats, brushes, etc.   Every part of the palm tree is useful as nothing is wasted. The fruit which is noted for its sweetness also has many uses.

There are over two thousand species of the palm tree but in this context, the date palm will be used. The palm tree has an average size of forty to fifty feet. The very tall ones get to a hundred feet and last for hundreds of years, say about four hundred years. The palm tree is noted for its hidden life – no amount of tampering destroys it. This speaks of stability and durability.  It is also not easy to uproot a palm tree. This is because it has a deep tap root that travels down for nourishment which explains why it is usually not affected by drought except in very severe cases of drought.  The root of the palm tree is deep and goes deep into the soil until it strikes the spring of water and then feeds the entire tree with water therefore making the tree fruitful. The palm tree is thus evergreen, always fresh and beautiful. You can also have such eternal freshness in Jesus mighty name, daily blossoming, bearing fruit and attractive. Please see Psalm 92 verse 12, Psalm 125 verse 1 and Psalm 1 verse 3. This also speaks of continuity in fruit bearing meaning that your life becomes sweeter each day in Jesus mighty name. Fatness refers to wealth, prosperity and riches while flourishing refers to spontaneous and luxurious growth.

Be a Flowing Stream

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Flowing streams distribute their God given resources, namely water as directed by God. That is why streams flow into rivers and rivers flow into seas and seas flow into oceans. That way, they distribute their natural resources as God would have them distribute such resources so that humanity and other living beings are blessed. In like manner, God expects everyone blessed with divine resources to distribute such resources as directed by God for the blessing of humanity as well as other living beings.

Resource distributors are not necessarily people who give away resources for free. They also include people who distribute resources for a fee such as the distributor of grain in Proverbs Chapter 11 verse 2b. He sold the grain yet was blessed for doing so. Joseph sold the grain that was harvested from the farms of the Egyptians to the Egyptians yet they blessed him. Please see Genesis Chaptre 41 verses 54 to 57, 42 verses 1 to 5, 47 verses 13 to 26.

Distributing resources expands resources as in the case of the diligent servants described in the parable of talents. Please see Matthew Chapter 25 verses 14 to 30.  The wicked and unprofitable servant was cast out into outer darkness because he refused to expand the resources he was blessed with through distributing it.

Rule over Your Enemies

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You will find what you are looking for when you are spiritually and mentally awake. Arise from slumber. Deepen your relationship with God through in-depth word study, worship and expanded praise, thanksgiving, be more obedient to God – prompt and willing obedience, not grudgingly or compelled to but willingly and happily, loving obedience to God.

Be focused - do away with distractions, ignore them completely irrespective of whatever forms they come in.  Concentrate on what has to be done and do it excellently.

Maintain and celebrate a culture of excellence. Copy best practices and learn from those who truly know. Invest in continuous self improvement and be attentive, in fact more attentive than you have ever been. Be more analytic.

Create room for more. The harvests you have seen are the least you will ever see because greater and bigger harvests are on the way. Your giving should line up with where you are headed. Your giving should reflect where you are going. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse of God. Please see Malachi Chapter 3 verses 10 to 13.

Abolish famine in the land. No more ridicule on account of famine. God who does not lie and will never lie will give you good crops and great harvests from everything you plant in Jesus mighty name, AMEN.

Divine Treasures

                                       Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Divine  Treasures
Hidden riches of secret places
Treasures in Unlikely Places

Water everywhere, fresh and salty
Deep, shallow, narrow, wavy, stormy, frightful
Yet abundant in treasures
Treasures in abundant waters
Water in the desert?
Yes! Hagar and the Israelites in the wilderness
Water from the rock
Water that was healed
Samson, the Israelites and allied army going to war against Moab
So even in a desert or should I say financial desert of lack, insufficiency,
God will make available for you
Overflowing financial abundance
From unlikely sources in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

All You Have is What You Need

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Everything you need to resolve whatever needs, crisis, is within your reach through Christ Jesus (Philippians Chapter 4 verse 19) because God is your Shepherd and He has made abundant provision for all you need. It may appear small or insignificant but it would be wise to follow the advice of Scriptures in Zechariah Chapter 4 verses 6 to 10, “Do not despise the small beginning for the eyes of the Lord rejoice to see the work begin”. Please see also Psalm 44 verse 3, Haggai Chapters 1 and 2, Job Chapter 8 verse 7, 42 verse 12, Ezekiel Chapter 36 verse 11.

Beloved, what you need is inside of you, within easy reach. Ask God to open your eyes of understanding to see it and give you the relevant wisdom to use it as He would have you use it to achieve the desired results you seek in Jesus mighty name. Please see Genesis Chapter 21 verse 19, 22 verses 13 to 14.

The widow of the indebted son of the prophet had what she referred to as only a jar of oil in the house. That jar of oil was more than sufficient to pay off the debts that threatened debt bondage  as well as provide abundant resources for them to live on for the rest of their lives because she obeyed the divine instructions from Prophet Elisha to use what she had to get what she desired. Please see 2nd Kings Chapter 4.

Swim Against the Tide 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To start with, God is not the one opposing you in your journey to financial independence. It is the devil and his cohorts. Whoever, whatever comes out to attack you on your way to the land of promise is not of God and has no power over you as God has stripped them of all power to hurt you. Therefore, be determined to move forward. Dislodge the powers of darkness and opposition in prayers. If ever there was a time to pray it is now. Match them force for force and eliminate to dispossess them. Eliminate the opposition in prayers as the Apostle Paul did to the wild beasts of Ephesus. Prophesy the word of God to stem the satanic flood waters of financial lack so that you can destroy every opposition on your path, dispossess them and move on to the land of promise. Therefore, strike hard, eliminate them, dispossess them and move on to the land of promise on your knees.

Most likely, you will experience very fierce opposition even in prayers as you may not break through to God immediately, which is accessing the throne room of God. But keep asking God for mercy by the blood of Jesus Christ; confessing your sins and asking that the blood of Jesus Christ wipe away every handwriting that is contrary to you on account of whatever sin that the enemy may holding on to; to accuse you as well as to stop you from accessing the throne room to receive forgiveness, cleansing, healing and restoration in your finances.

Swim Against the Tide 1

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Is it possible to swim against the tide and what exactly is the tide? The tide referred to here is the tide of the floodwaters of financial challenges no matter the format in which they present.
God had long intervened in your finances and released financial abundance to you. But the enemy has been blockading your access to the financial abundance, resisting and opposing you spiritually, physically, mentally and in so many ways that you are probably beginning to doubt if God wants you to have any personal finances. Beloved, God did not create you to be poor, in lack, in debt and borrowing to live. He created you to prosper, be wealthy and to be happy. Whatever then limits you from prospering is not of God, is satanic and should be destroyed completely in Jesus mighty name.

The prince of Persia opposed the angel bringing God’s answer of healing and restoration to Daniel’s intercession, confession of sins and repentance in prayer accompanied by prayer and fasting by blocking the angel from reaching and accessing Daniel. The prince of Persia succeeded for twenty one days until archangel Michael came to the rescue and the angel was free to reach Daniel as Michael held forth and successfully so. The prince of Persia was not alone in the blockade and barricade of the angel’s access to Daniel (Daniel Chapter 10 verse 13). He came with the kings of Persia – though the number is not specified, kings stand for plural meaning they were more than one. Secondly, they were opposed to the angel’s visit to Daniel and therefore withstood him from accessing Daniel with God’s answer of peace. In like manner, the devil and his cohorts oppose, resist, fight the grace and goodness of God in our lives. They do this using different methodologies which the Bible refers to as wiles in Ephesians Chapter 6 verses 11 to 12; strongholds, arguments and high things that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. Through these, they attempt to pollute the people of God to contaminate them and bring them into judgment so that the wrath of God rather than the mercy of God rests upon them.

Find the Money 2

Be Proactive

The Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary of English defines proactive as “a person or policy controlling a situation by making things happen rather than waiting for things to happen and then reacting  to them. You can be proactive in the following areas:

Time and Timing – What you do with time either enriches or impoverishes you. Time invested in productive action translates to money and other resources that should be wisely managed to generate wealth. Time should not be frittered in idle chatter or sleep. At every point in time, time should be invested.

}  Of what value is time to you? What do you do with time? Please see Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22, 24 verse 11b, Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verses 1 to 8, 11, 17 Proverbs Chapter 10 verse 5, 30 verse 25, Zechariah Chapter 10 verse 1 for how people took advantage of time and invested time.  Spend quality time with God to receive favor and divine ideas; and in your business to know and understand the business.

}  Planning; one of the ways to plan is budgeting (Luke Chapter 14 verses 28 to 32, Matthew Chapter 25 verses 1 to 13). A budget is a financial plan, a road map that helps you manage your income and expenses.

}  Call to action – The servant of Abraham who went to procure a wife for Isaac applied this principle. He made his camels kneel down outside the city by a well. Please see Genesis Chapter 24 verses 11a, 16 to 20.  Joseph also did same when he asked Pharaoh and his court to search for a discerning person that would manage the surplus of the seven years for plentiful harvests to safeguard the impending famine. Please see Genesis Chapter 41 verses 32 to 42. Daniel approached the King to request for more time. The allied army of Israel, Judah and Edom going for war ran out of water in the desert, a wrong place to look for water. Their primary aim was to not to look for water in the desert. It was to fight the Moabites. But water became a challenge. They then went to see the Prophet Elisha who instructed them to make the valley full of ditches despite the fact there was no water in sight. They obeyed and made the valley full of ditches and had water. Please see 2nd Kings Chapter 3 verse 16.

}   Jacob,  King Solomon
