God is the author of global desirability in the life
of anyone. He does it by giving the person destined for global desirability His
glory. Please see Haggai Chapter 2 verses 6 to 9 and Isaiah Chapter 60 verses 1
to 22. This glory of God usually manifest through His Presence in the life of a
person. The Bible records that God was with Joseph, Isaac, Abraham, David as
well as a number of other successful Biblical characters and this holy Presence
in the life of a person manifests in a number of ways.
For David, it was military prowess; Joseph, it was
the gift of problem solving through the word of knowledge and wisdom coupled
with his sincere commitment to God. Daniel was also blessed with this gift and
rose to global desirability, relevance and prominence. He was greatly sought
after by Kings Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar and Darius.
A person, institution, product or service can be
globally visible yet not desirable. But when God is with you and His presence
and glory is in you, He makes you globally visible and desirable as in the case
of Joseph. There is a difference between global visibility and global
desirability. A person, institution, product or service can be globally visible
because of the opportunities or privileges available to occupy global platforms
or space yet may not be globally desirable; that is liked, accepted or wanted.
In such cases, global visibility is of no use really. What is the essence of
being known globally and yet not desired, therefore not relevant and
significant? But global visibility accompanied by global desirability
culminates in significance and relevance which ultimately translates to
dominance if managed wisely as instructed by God through His Holy Spirit.
Joseph was globally visible, desirable, relevant,
significant and dominant because God was with Him. The Presence of God in
Joseph was what made him liked, acceptable and wanted by the Egyptian court and
people. People liked him, worked with him, obeyed him, honored him not because
he made an impression on them; made efforts to be liked by the people but
because they saw the grace and presence of God in him manifested in the divine
gifts God blessed him with in order for him to bless humanity as well as
fulfill divine purpose. Global desirability then is not for the fun of being liked,
wanted and accepted but for fulfilling divine purpose.
To take on the glory of God and manifest that glory,
you have to empty yourself of everything that does not bring glory to God and
everything that will hinder the manifestation of the glory of God. This is akin
to shedding off filthy rags to be clothed with regal garments as in the case of
Joshua the High Priest. Please see Zechariah Chapter 3. Nobody is attracted to
filth and tattered clothes. In like manner no one is attracted to anything that
is not of God in you especially what the enemy attempts to clothe people with
in order to bring rejection and shame into their lives.
Beloved, discard all such filthy garments be they
uncontrollable anger, dishonesty, lies, pilfering, gossiping, envy,
promiscuity, drunkenness and whatever it is that does not glorify God. Discard them and take
on God’s dignifying and holy garments so that you will become attractive and
desirable. Please see Isaiah Chapters 62 verses 1 to 12; 65 verses 17 to 19.
As I close, I pray that God in His infinite mercy
will bless you, give you global visibility, desirability, relevance, significance
and prominence; that will culminate in abundance and wealth in your life in
Jesus mighty name. Shalom.
