God Answers Prayers

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Does God answer prayers? Yes. Are you sure? Definitely. But certainly not all prayers? How do you mean? Well, prayers to make wealth. Beloved, God answers such prayers and is waiting for you to ask. The God who gives you power to make as stated in His word answers prayers on wealth creation if prayed to Him by His children who desire to do so.

The Biblical Jabez born with quite a number of minuses petitioned God for a number of pluses including the plus of wealth creation. Please see 1st Chronicles Chapter 4 verse 9 to 10. God honored that prayer and gave Jabez everything he requested for.

Jacob practically ran away from home without a dime after outsmarting his elder brother Esau to get the birthright. On Jacob’s way to Padan Aram, he requested wealth from God. Though Laban the Uncle he lived with at Padan Aram also tried to outwit Jacob severally; significantly, God blessed Jacob with overflowing wealth, some of which he shared with his brother Esau. Genesis  Chapter 28 verses 20 to 21 Genesis Chapter 33 verses 8 to 10.

The widow of the son of the indebted prophet also asked God for financial empowerment and provision when she took her woes of the family financial indebtedness which threatened debt bondage of her two sons to the Prophet Elisha. As she implemented the divine strategies given to her by God through Prophet Elisha for wealth creation, she discovered wealth and was free of financial lack and indebtedness. Please see 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7.

Beloved, God desires to bless His children with abundant wealth (see 2nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9 and 1st Samuel Chapter 2 verses 7 to 8)  but the big question is, are His children willing to ask Him, pray to Him so that He will show and teach them how to accumulate such wealth? Please see Isaiah Chapter 28 verses 23 to 29.

You may argue that the Bible instructs to give and you will receive which is true. But giving without necessarily asking God where and how to give and even when to give can tantamount to gambling and God is neither a gambler nor does he tolerate gamblers. Secondly, a number of unscrupulous people use this Scripture as a gimmick to fleece unsuspecting, God fearing but Scripturally ignorant people of their hard earned money. When you give because of the expected return on what you have given; and not necessarily in obedience to the word of God to support kingdom work, you are responding to the greed in your heart and greed is often the perfect bait for gambling as well as being scammed.

I believe it is more blessed to give than to receive and honestly, I practice it. But I do not give out of coercion or the gimmicks of unscrupulous people who make merchandise of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I give for kingdom work because I know that it is the will of God for me to support kingdom work that expands the kingdom of God on earth.  I do not give because someone makes up a story of how people gave hundreds of thousands of whatever currency and they are now millionaires and billionaires. That is a clear call to gambling in the name of the Lord.

But if you give to God because you love Him and want His work on earth to prosper through His genuinely ordained  servants, then you have positioned yourself for endless bumper harvests that can only come from God, the true Author of wealth and abundance. This is because God will not only bless the work of your hands as stated in the Bible (Deuteronomy Chapter 15 verse 10); He will also  favor you and instruct people to transfer wealth to you in addition to instructing you on how to multiply and compound the wealth that accrues to you as He did for Solomon and many others in the Bible. Please see 1st Kings Chapter 3 verses 5 to 14, Isaiah Chapters 60 verses 1 to 22 and 61 verses 5 to 6.  Additionally, God will give you divine health and long life so that you will enjoy the fruit of your labor. Please Isaiah Chapter 65 verses 19 to 24.

Perhaps you asked before and you did not get answers. You probably asked amiss. Please see James Chapter 4 verses 1 to 3. You need to ask again but with the right motive. It is possible that you have never asked before because you thought it sinful or wrong to ask God for either money or wealth. It is not too late to ask. Start now and He will answer you speedily. Also, you probably did not ask because you were afraid that God would not answer you because you are a sinner. While this is true, you can repent right away and then ask. He will forgive you, answer you and give you the desires of your heart. Please see Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 8 to 13. I await your testimony of both. God bless you and enlarge your coast in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
