Impact Your Target Audience

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha
Impact is the effect or influence that an eventsituation etc has on someone or something http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/impact.

God is the only one who truly impacts people, organizations, structures and nations. Therefore, to impact people, you have to be impacted by God and then God in you helps you to impact people to bring about the required positive change or transformation you want to see in people. Ultimately, this is what brings about fame.

It is God’s target audience for you whom you impact that takes you to the heights God has for you. The people you think are high up there that you patronize may not necessarily move you up the mark. I know people who rather than pursue the specifics of God’s plans and purposes for their lives, pursue connections to the famous, rich, those acknowledged and honored by society in the quest to move up the ladder of life. Significantly, that is where people always miss it. Stop running after the rich and famous so that you can be recognized in order to belong to their class. Instead, ask God to please, have mercy on you and forgive you, in Jesus mighty name, AMEN; so that He alone will help you get to the desired heights you seek.

Impact your target audience and God will promote you. The impact is to transform lives, not just routine products or services, not just different products or services, but products and services that IMPACT; that bring about positive transformation.
It was the work that Joseph did – interpretation of the dreams of the baker and butler; which of course impacted both men, one positively and the other negatively and which God blessed; that eventually brought him before Pharaoh. Again, it was the impact of the work he did for Pharaoh that brought him the rewards of esteemed position, honor, global acceptance, visibility and money. It was not the other way round.

Significantly, it is carrying out our divinely assigned tasks in the way God wants it done, where He wants it done, how He wants it done that leads to impact and of course the money. But most often, we like to reverse the order - money, a little work most often done shabbily, no attention to details and excellence, not to think of impact and then we want fame, acceptance, visibility and money.

Beloved, God blesses diligence, excellence, because that is what impacts people to bring about a transformation in their lives and the outcome of that transformation is glory to God. Reversing the order of God carries the consequences of financial limitations. Therefore, to receive healing from financial limitations requires sticking to a working with the order of God – ministry, men, money – Deuteronomy Chapter 12 verses 7, 14 verse 29, 15 verse 4, 10, 14, 18, 16 verses 10, 15 to 17, 23 verse 20, 24 verse 19, 28 verses 1 to 13, 30 verse 9, Genesis Chapter 26 verses 12 to 14, 2 to 4, Judges Chapter 13 verse 24, Proverbs Chapter 10 verses 6 and 22, Isaiah Chapter 61 verse 9.

Therefore, utilize the one opportunity, the one chance you have to create other opportunities by impacting your target audience positively. If you are highly positioned by God, use that gift and position to serve God in His sanctuary. Do not refuse to do what God wants you to do on account of people.

Stop the fire fighting approach and work your way up with God.  Be more concerned about fulfilling your divine purpose, reaching out to God’s target audience for YOU and not associating with the rich and famous. The blessings of God actually came upon the children of God and overtook them – Deuteronomy Chapter 28 verse 2, Malachi Chapter 3 verse 10 and Psalm 23. What this means is that children of God do not pursue, run after, chase blessings. Rather, blessings chase and run after and pursue the children of God as they live in obedience to God because God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that they ever ask or think of.
