Break the Ceiling of Self Imposed Limitations

Self imposed limitations are the limitations a person, a family, institution, community or nations imposes on themselves to limit them from progressing to God’s very best plans and purposes for their lives. Moses for instance tried to place limits on himself when God called him at the burning bush. First, he gave the excuse of being an inconsequential person to stand before Pharaoh; not only to demand the release of the children of Israel from Egypt but also to bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. When eventually God assured Moses that He would be with him, Moses gave yet another excuse of being a person of a slow tongue. God also reassured him that He would be with his mouth in addition to teaching him what to say. Beloved, is Moses not forgetting something here? Was the God Who created him and Who chose him and promised to be with him not capable of addressing whatever issues he had with his mouth? Just like the rest of us, Moses displayed his human frailties by showcasing his weakness, thereby imposing personal limitations on himself with the excuses he gave. God however overwrote the limitations and excuses and still made Moses go to Egypt and accomplish the task of standing before Pharaoh as well as bringing the children of Israel out of Egypt.

How did Moses come about the limitations? He was looking at his fleshly capacities and not the power of God that was fully behind him and was with him all the way. Why was he afraid to stand before Pharaoh? After all, he was raised in the palace of Egypt as royalty and had stood before Pharaoh before! Why was he suddenly conscious of the fact that he stammered? The circumstances of life that Moses had experienced were responsible for the limitations he imposed on himself. He was a fugitive running from justice in Egypt – he killed a man and could be tried for murder and that had significantly impacted his status as he lacked the princely power and robe to stand before Pharaoh. So as far as Moses was concerned, he was an insignificant person before Pharaoh. But unknown to Moses, God had made him a great man before Pharaoh and he could literally bring Pharaoh to his knees if only he knew that God was with him over and above Pharaoh and everyone else that appeared to matter in Egypt. Please read Exodus Chapter 3 verses 1 to 2, please note verses 11 to 12, 4 verses 1 to 17, note verses 10 to 15.

Gideon also tried to impose limitations on himself by highlighting his origin – he was the least in his father’s house and was from the weakest clan in Manasseh. But God overwrote the excuses and told Gideon that He was with him and would always be with him. This implies that Gideon’s lineage and genealogy did not really matter. What mattered was the Presence of God in the life of Gideon. Please read Judges Chapter 6. In like manner, Moses’ past and disabilities were inconsequential to the plans and purposes of God for his life. What was consequential, important and relevant and significant was the Presence of God in his life, the life of Gideon and anyone God calls to implement and accomplish divine purpose. Background, etc which could constitute personal limitations are inconsequential. The Presence of God is what matters.

The prophet Jeremiah was afraid of God’s call upon his life and gave the excuse of being a youth; a self imposed limitation based on cultural practices and prejudices. Who was a mere youth to speak to the nations as a prophet of God. God overwrote the personal limitation Jeremiah placed on himself on account of cultural prejudices. God promised to be with Jeremiah. Beloved, please note that the emphasis is on the Presence of God, not a great age, not who knows you or your family as being from the largest or strongest ethnic group in the land or the biggest, strongest or richest nation in the world. Please read Jeremiah Chapter 1 verses 1 to 10, 1^st Corinthians Chapter 1 verses 25 to 29.

Allow God to Enrich You

A gift or present is different from a bribe and should be received with thanksgiving especially when God leads people to bless you with gifts. A number of Kings as well as other prominent people in the Bible received financial and material gifts from the people God made them to interact with. These gifts translated into personal wealth for them. The Apostle Paul commended the Church in Philippi for supporting him financially. Please read Philippians Chapter 4 verses 10 to 19, Galatians Chapter 6 verse 6 and 1^st Corinthians Chapter 9 verses 1 to 27.

Quite significant and instructive is the fact that Jesus Christ received gifts from people who supported his earthly ministry. Please read Luke Chapter 8 verses 1 to 3. However, He did not demand the gifts. The people willingly brought the gifts. This implies that the people God sends to bless you with gifts usually do so without compulsion. They simply respond to the promptings of God to bless whoever God leads them to.

The prophet Elisha also received gifts. Please read 2^nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 42 to 44 but when it was inappropriate to receive gifts, he declined to accept the gifts as exemplified in the case of Naaman. Beloved, this implies that not all gifts should be accepted especially when God says not to accept such gifts. There are times for receiving gifts and times for rejecting gifts. Please read 2^nd Kings Chapter 5 and Genesis Chapter 14 verses 1 to 24. God by His Spirit always guides His children into receiving and rejecting gifts since He knows all things.

A good number of the wealthy people in the Bible received presents and gifts from people, Kings and Queens which they translated into personal wealth. Kings Solomon, Jehoshaphat and Hezekiah are some examples. So also is Abraham. Additionally, they earned income from other activities. They did not rely on the gifts alone. King Solomon traded. Please read 1^st Kings Chapters 10 verses 21 to 29, 9 verses 26 to 28.

Hone Problem Solving Skills

Problems have always existed and will always be part of life. There are two reasons for this. Problems either make or mar a person, institutions, family, nation, religious organization.  Also, problems are as diverse as people and ethnic groups are diverse. This implies that about everyone, family, community, institution and nation experience problems. 

However, there is a problem experienced by the vast majority of people globally. It is the problem of insufficient to absolutely no money. This is a global problem which prompted multilateral agencies and governments of different nations to adopt poverty mitigation measures, some of which were successfully implemented and are success stories as well as global best practices. Yet the problem of financial poverty still stares a good number of people in the face.

It is also ironic that money stands in front of people, besides people, stares at them, smiles at them, beckons to them;  and sometimes literally pulls them, tugs at them, even begs them to come grab him; yet the vast majority of people spend a lifetime looking for money who is patiently knocking at their doors and waiting for them to just open the door; even slightly so that he can come in; take up residence and settle down with them permanently.

The biblical case of the widow of the indebted prophet is a classic example. She always had jars of oil in the house; and her husband probably also had other skills besides being a prophet and the son of a prophet. Yet they lived what I dare to call a financially irresponsible life. The man borrowed and kept borrowing until eventually he died leaving behind an undesirable inheritance of a huge pile of debts which had mortgaged the lives and destinies of his two sons to debt bondage or slavery. That is to say his two sons would serve their father’s creditor until the creditor decided that the debts were fully paid for. What a life!

How to Correct Negative Financial Behaviors

What are negative financial behaviors and what makes them negative?

Negative financial behaviors are financial behaviors as well as attitudes which always put your financial figures in red – that is to say you are always financially stressed, financially insecure, financially dependent on people and circumstances. You never have financial resources stashed away for the rainy day and when there is a major or even minor need in your life, you are always at the mercy of other people – begging without shame and most times being ignored, or humiliated or even insulted. At other times, you have to borrow, and in some cases with high interest rates and you borrow, you may actually have no means of paying back the debts.

Break Up Your Fallow Ground

The expression, “Break up your fallow ground” (Hos. 10:12; Jeremiah 4:3) means, “Do not sow your seed among thorns”, i.e., break off all your evil habits; clear your hearts of weeds, in order that they may be prepared for the seed of righteousness. Land was allowed to lie fallow that it might become more fruitful; but when in this condition, it soon became overgrown with thorns and weeds. The cultivator of the soil was careful to “break up” his fallow ground, i.e., to clear the field of weeds, before sowing seed in it. So says the prophet, “Break off your evil ways, repent of your sins, cease to do evil, and then the good seed of the word will have room to grow and bear fruit.” https://christiananswers.net/dictionary/fallow-ground.html

An untilled land is also fallow ground especially if it is left fallow on account of laziness or frittering time in activities that have neither eternal nor financial value. Please see Proverbs Chapters 12 verse 11, 28 verse 19, Hosea Chapter 10 verse 12, Jeremiah Chapter 4 verse 3, and Hebrews Chapter 6 verses 7 to 8.

In Luke Chapter 13 verses 6 to 9, Jesus Christ talked about the landowner who wanted to cut down the unproductive fig tree that was using up ground space without producing anything. The question then is why use up the ground and not produce anything, especially what is of value to humanity? Why own a ground and keep it fallow when it should be productively engaged to produce what is of value to humanity? That would be akin to what the wicked lazy servant, the servant who refused to trade his talent did. He refused to be productively engaged with the talent in his hand that would have multiplied resources to bless humanity. He was punished with eternal damnation, called wicked and lazy. Is it then possible that refusal to work the ground given to one by God can lead to eternal damnation? Is it also the same thing as willful destruction? Please see Proverbs Chapter 18 verse 19, Ecclesiastes Chapter 10 verse 18.

In Proverbs Chapter 12 verse 11, the Bible refers to the person who follows frivolity as a person devoid of understanding while a person who tills his or her land will have plenty of bread. This is further reiterated in Proverbs Chapter 28 verse 19 (plenty of bread for land tillers as well as abundant provision for clothing, land ownership, food and general maintenance. Please see Genesis Chapters 26 verses 1 to 14; 30 verses 25 to 43, Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 3. And poverty for those who follow frivolity). Following after frivolity and sowing among thorns is akin to laboring in vain, frittering time in non productive activities that do not yield any benefit; have no value whatsoever whether on earth or in eternity; akin to time wasting activities. Activities that have no eternal value, which do not impact people positively for God and the good of humanity are frivolous activities and can also be likened to sowing among thorns.

Beloved, take time off to evaluate your present activities and relationships to ascertain whether you are impacting people positively for God (eternal value); and the general good of humanity. Otherwise, you are engaged in either frivolous activities or you are sowing among thorns. Your real wealth are your treasures laid up in heaven; the souls harvested into the kingdom on account of your giving, your prayers, Bible teaching and counsel, encouragement, care giving and evangelism. Therefore seek ye first the kingdom of God so that every other thing will be added unto you. P;ease see Matthew Chapter 6 verses 33, 19 to 21.

Grow Your Business

Your business given to you by God is your key to overflowing generational financial abundance.  To grow your business, you must invest in the business. You have to invest time, your expertise, financial as well as other resources in the business. Your talents as well as other gifts will have to be invested in the business.

You are probably not experiencing that financial abundance because you are working your business as God would have you work it. You also have to appreciate the business and celebrate the business. You are possibly not paying full attention to working the business because you consider the business insignificant, something to while away time, to put some food in your stomach when actually that business is divinely designed to give you overflowing abundance that will span generations if Christ tarries. Celebrating that business and obeying God fully will bring in the desired full yields that would birth exponential increase and overflowing financial abundance from the business. Unfortunately, you probably assume that running around and celebrating the businesses of other people while yours lies fallow when it should be blossoming is what will give you overflowing financial abundance. Beloved, you are wrong. You should stop that circular dance that takes you nowhere and do something smart and profitable with your business.

God Will Settle You

The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ - eternal and glorious plans they are! - will have you put together and on your feet for good. 1^st Peter Chapter 5 verse 10.

God still settles His people and He will settle you in Jesus mighty name. To settle means to give rest, put an end to a matter, dispute, issue, disagreement, bring you to a point of rest. To be settled means that wars must cease in your life. Please see Joshua Chapter 23 verse 1. Because God had given Joshua rest, Joshua aged gracefully. Only God can bring about rest for anyone because God knows how to make wars to cease. Please see Psalm 46 verses 9 to 10, Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verses 7 to 10.

One can enter into rest financially, maritally, medically, etc. God demonstrates divine settlement through divine surplus. God wants to take you to a position of divine surplus. There is a breakthrough coming to you that is intended to settle you. In 2^nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7, the Bible records that God settled the widow of the indebted prophet. The yoke of financial poverty and indebtedness was destroyed in her life. She was settled financially and her sons were free of debt slavery.

Though Naomi suffered losses in Moab – she lost her husband and her two sons, God settled her through Ruth. However, it is instructive that Naomi took a great quality decision to return to her roots. That singular action brought about restoration and divine settlement for both Naomi and Ruth. Please read the entire book of Ruth for greater insight.

Beloved, this implies that one of the keys to divine settlement is to return to your roots, your first love, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you do this sincerely, God will sort you out, open your eyes of understanding to where you missed it and help you make amends that will bring about the restoration and the settlement. The widow of the indebted prophet also returned to God by crying to the prophet Elisha for a solution.

The Principle of Twelve Baskets - Be a Blessing

A person’s life does not consist in the abundance of what he has but what he gives. The essence of living is giving, no matter how small it may appear to be. Giving is one of the divine keys to prosperity, breakthrough, healing, you name it. Beloved, you can give yourself out of lack, begging and borrowing. Therefore, give out your pain and insufficiency to sufficiency and abundance so that you will no longer experience financial struggles in Jesus mighty name.  And the catch is that you can never out give God. God alone owns resources and us. Therefore, our lives and resources should be committed to serving Him.

There is power in giving especially giving to what is relevant. Giving to a good cause brings rewards. The hand that gives is always on top and has power. On the other hand, the hand that receives is always below the hand that gives. To be on top, you should be a giver. There are some challenges that you are going through today that can disappear because of your giving.

When people come to seek you because of the gift of God in you, meet both their spiritual and physical needs. Do not send them away empty handed no matter how small your resources are. For all you care, that may be all they require for their needs to be met. All the disciples of Jesus Christ had were five loaves of bread and two fishes; yet because they laid it on the altar for all to benefit from, the loaves of bread and fish multiplied and compounded; and fed five thousand men, excluding women and children. Additionally, there were twelve baskets left over. Please see Luke Chapter 9 verses 10 to 17.

Desire to be Wealthy

Truly desire to be wealthy. Do not seek wealth because you have bills waiting to be paid, you want to be like the Joneses, or you want to show off.  Desire and seek wealth because it is the will of God for your life. Please see Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 18, 2^nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9.

One of the benefits of redemption is divine wealth transfer through Jesus Christ Who became poor so that heirs of salvation such as you and I would become rich. Also, God in His infinite mercy gives you power to create wealth so that you can be wealthy. To do this, God blesses the work of your hands (Psalms 85 verse 12, 104 verses 13 to 15, Zechariah Chapter 8 verse 12, Leviticus Chapter 26 verses 1 to 10, Deuteronomy Chapters 8 verses 6 to 9, 11 verses 10 to 15, 12 verses 7, 17, 14 verse 29, 15 verses 4, 10, 14, 18, 16 verses 17, 15, 23 verse 20, 24 verse 19, 28 verses 1 to 13, 30 verses 5, 9, 16); gives you divine ideas and unusual abilities (Joseph, Daniel, Huram and many others; and also safeguards the works of your hands from satanic predators be they spiritual, physical or mental (Malachi Chapter 3 verses , Ezekiel Chapters s 34 verses 25 to 30, 36 verse 30).

Beloved, it is the will of God for you to be wealthy, live in wealth and enjoy wealth. Please see 3^rd John 1 and 2.

Step Up Your Game 2

Institutionalize and put relevant structures on ground so that you can flourish and bloom with your God given vision. Instituting the God ordained structures that impact to transform humanity which you have been instructed to institute by the Holy Spirit will speed up processes for you and give you great mileage ahead of your competition.

Be more friendly. It is said that people who smile and are friendly are usually welcome anywhere. This is because people care about how much you care about them and not necessarily what you know though what you know may also come in handy.

Treat people with respect. Truth, integrity, honesty, rule of law and respect for others is not a sign of weakness. Besides, you never can tell; great people sometimes come in small packages. 

Be more generous. Generosity always has the capacity to enlarge you. Therefore give because it is more blessed to give than to receive and anything given is a seed and because seeds always germinate and produce a harvest in response to the law of seed time and harvest, your giving will always bring blessings to you if done in line with the will of God for your life. Every opportunity to give is an opportunity to be blessed. When you give you provoke the law of giving –Please see Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22 and Luke Chapter 6 verse 38. Every seed in your hand is pregnant with plantations. You can count the number of seeds in an orange but you cannot count the number of oranges in a seed. Give of your time, talent and treasure – Luke Chapter 9 verses 14 to 17.

To step up your game implies that you have already have an ongoing game. But wherever you are in that game and irrespective of whatever successes you have achieved, you still have more ground to cover as you have not seen your best days yet. Therefore, take a quality decision to step up your game. How, you may ask. 

Be more diligent in whatever God assigned you to do on planet earth. The widow of the indebted prophet was asked to SELL the Oil she had, PAY her Debts and LIVE on the Rest. Please take note of the Key phrases such as a jar of oil, GO implying that she should move, possibly from her comfort zone as well as act. Additionally, she was asked to borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbours. The prophet was very specific in his instructions to the widow; she was to borrow vessels from everywhere, all her neighbours, and significantly, empty vessels in large quantities (many, as many as you can borrow. She was also to shut the door behind her (avoid distractions, run away from them; focus, concentrate on what has to be done). Pour the jar of oil into all the vessels, and as each vessel is filled, set it aside so that you have the filled vessels on one side and the empty vessels on one side. The widow followed through on every one of the instructions and significantly became not only debt free but financially free for the rest of her life. 

The virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31 consistently stretched out the curtains to enlarge her tent in about every area of life – as a child of God, as a wife, as a mother, as a mistress and leader in the home, as a business woman and as an individual in her community.  She diligently and intelligently stretched out her curtains, reinvesting profits in diverse businesses; always considering the implications of doing so. She is a role model.

It’s in You

All the resources you need to succeed in life are inside of you. You may wonder how and where. Perhaps you should take a clue from the prodigal son who thought a rich inheritance from a wealthy father would set him up in life. What happened? The young man lost everything as fast as he demanded and collected it from his loving father. And because he had no idea  how to make wealth with his God given resources he was engaged in what I choose to call slave labor; slave labor because he did not even earn a living wage. To make matters worse, he came close to eating what he fed the pigs with. Fortunately, with no human help in sight from anyone, God helped him to come to himself – he was not a slave but a bonafide child of a very wealthy father whose servants could be described as rich. Why then should he live in abject penury when he could return to his father to make peace and be wealthy again? Do not forget that as a child of every wealthy man, the prodigal son was already wealthy. He did not need to collect his inheritance while his father was alive to prove to anyone that he was wealthy. So Mr. Prodigal Son retraced his steps back home and lived in affluence again despite what he had done against his father in the past. 

The widow of the indebted son of the prophet also probably came to the same realization when her late husband’s creditor threatened to come and take her two sons for slave labor. Suddenly, she realized that God could salvage their situation. So she ran to the prophet Elisha for a solution. Fortunately, she did not revert to her husband’s methods of borrowing to solve financial challenges. She chose to trust God to get her out a habit that if not curbed would become generational. She cried to God for a solution which surprisingly had been resident in her all these years when her husband went a borrowing and had mortgaged the destiny of their two sons into debt servitude. God in His infinite mercy chose to show mercy and spoke through the Prophet Elisha. The hitherto jar of oil that she probably considered insignificant and of little or zero monetary value actually had the capacity to transform their lives – give them more than enough money to pay off their debts as well as have enough to live on for the rest of their lives. They were free from the bondage and attendant slavery of debts. 

Beloved, God the bondage breaker had set them free from the affliction of debt and its attendant humiliation, shame, bondage and slavery. Significantly, God used the woman’s honest and sincere refusal to continue with the habit of borrowing to break and destroy what the enemy had intended as a legal ground to introduce debt servitude to the family.

The woman with the issue of blood had exhausted her financial resources on medics to no avail.  Rather than borrow and probably still not find a solution, she chose to seek Jesus, to touch the hem of His garment. That was the breakthrough. The pain, the shame, and humiliation of twelve years ceased and she was made whole without spending a dime. 

Build Financial Empires

Financial empires do not happen overnight or in an instance. They are products of processes and long term planning. Your preoccupation should therefore be how to access the financial abundance God blessed you with so you can build financial empires. How you may ask? Be consciously and actively involved and engaged in money making activities. Do not assume. Do what has to be done legally and godly to earn an income. Produce and sell goods as in the case of the widow of the indebted prophet in 2^nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7, Lydia in Acts Chapter 16 verse 14, the virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31, Aquila, Priscilla and the Apostle Paul who were tent makers in Acts Chapter 18 verses 1 to 3.

Know and understand the dynamics of whatever industry you operate in. Google how other people are selling their products and services and learn. Take the best practices especially what the Holy Spirit will have you learn and implement.

Set annual sales targets and try to exceed them.

Break annual sales targets to monthly, weekly and daily sales targets.

Develop and implement strategies for making such sales.

Ask God to help you exceed the targets.

Brand Yourself to Wealth

Your brand is the sum total of your true worth, capabilities and influence.  This includes your contacts – all the people you know that can support your brand. Your brand is wealth worth billions if only you know what to do with the brand.

The role of relationships and partnerships in branding is very significant. The significance of right relationships in quality branding cannot be overemphasized. That is why you should engage in right relationships such as spiritually, physically, financially and mentally rewarding relationships that brand and position you strategically for wealth, success, honor and fame.

Spiritually rewarding relationships are relationships that build you, strengthen and enhance you spiritually. The greatest and best of such relationships that I can think of is your relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the indwelling Presence of God through the precious Holy Spirit. This relationship not only guarantees life in eternity with Jesus Christ (John Chapter 3 verses 1 to 5, 16 to 19); but knowledge, understanding and wisdom for daily living (Isaiah Chapter 48 verse 17); which ultimately leads to wealth and success.

Be Enthusiastic About Making Money

Money puts food on the table. Goodwill does not. Money pays the rent and utility bills. Goodwill does not. Money gives a good education. Goodwill does not. Therefore, work for money and not goodwill. Making money is not a sin. Abraham made money. Isaac made money. Jacob made money. Joseph made money. Nehemiah made money.

Jesus demonstrated the significance of making money and money management in the parables of the talents and the prodigal son. The Bible in both the old and new testaments supports money making and celebrates wealthy men and women such as Abraham, Isaac, Boaz, Job, Joseph of Arimathea, King Solomon, the virtuous woman described in Proverbs Chapter 31, King David and many others.  God is not against money making. What the Bible condemns is the love of money, greed and mammon worship, fraudulent means of making money like lying, cheating, duping other people of their hard earned money, bribery and robbery.

The virtuous woman described in Proverbs Chapter 31 made so much money from the work of her hands that she was able to buy land even in her days when there was so much gender discrimination. Even the skilled artisans mentioned in the Bible who received creative abilities in designing from God and who worked in the designing of the tabernacle in Exodus Chapter 36 and in the temple in 1^st Kings were handsomely remunerated.

Sing Your Own Song

You are the only one who can sing your own song the loudest. You are the only one who can celebrate yourself, your achievements, successes, your purpose and everything God created you to be. If you do not celebrate yourself, brand yourself and position yourself where you should be, chances are that no one will push you up there. Therefore, quit the facelessness, namelessness, I do not want to be in the news; I do not want to make front page stuff. FrontPage is where you should be, announcing to the world the products and services you have designed to bless humanity. I do realize that your products or services can be publicized without you necessarily being publicized. But say, is Bill Gates not a public face? How about Donald Trump, Richard Branson, Suze Orman, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg and so many other people making money effortlessly? They all make front page news. I suggest you do the same. Get out of the back seat into the front seat. Quit being a backside lieutenant and become the frontline General God created you to be. You do not belong in the museum or archives while you are alive and well. The limelight and klieg lights is where you belong. Get moving and fast. Kill every reluctance and hesitation to advertise you as hiding in the backyard could militate against access to billions. Therefore, refuse to be bound to you are not good enough or your products and services are not good enough or you should not be celebrated.  Destroy such boundary limiting satanic thoughts and fears with a conscious and determined decision to improve and excel in every area where you are not good enough. Do a quick upgrade to excellence!

Look Beyond the Challenges

Challenges are a constant reality of life. Most times, they come unannounced, throwing one off balance. But when they are properly scrutinized and processed, they become stepping stones. Therefore, do not panic, do not be afraid, and do not be intimidated. You can reign over any circumstance. God wants you to be on top of it. There is no room for docile, impassive and indifferent people. Every gazelle knows that it has to outrun the fastest lion in order not to be used for breakfast and every lion knows that it has to rise early enough to outrun the fastest gazelle in order to have breakfast.

The diligent make use of everything they find. Jesus Christ preached from a mountain top, used Peter’s boat and also taught in the synagogues owned and administered by the same Pharisees and Sadducees who opposed Him and sought to kill him. Please Matthew Chapter 4 verse 23, 5 verse 1, Luke Chapter 5 verses 1 to 3, and Proverbs Chapter 12 verse 27.  Jesus, the Son of the great I AM WHO I AM, says to you today, I AM ALL you need to come out of any situation that challenges you. I alone can give you the strength, the capacities, the wealth, the affluence that you require to overrule that situation. Please see how He did it for King David of Israel in Psalm 18.

Tithe Your Way to Wealth

Jesus is the foundation of tithing. Please see Hebrews Chapter 7 verses 1 to 10, Genesis Chapter 13 verses 18 to 20. 

The tithe is ten percent of a person’s income be it daily, weekly, monthly or annual income that a believer gives to God as an act of worship.  Tithes are meant for the well being of the Levites, their upkeep and for doing the work of the Lord. Please see Nehemiah Chapter 13 verses 9 to 13, Leviticus Chapter 27 verses 30 to 34 and Numbers Chapter 18 verses 21 to 32. In Malachi Chapter 3 verses 8 to 12,  believers are instructed to pay the tithe  and give generous offerings in a Bible believing Church where the Holy Spirit is accorded respect and given freedom to operate fully; so that He guides, teaches and directs the people of God to profit (Isaiah Chapter 48 verse 17); also where the truth of God is upheld and reigns above the doctrines and philosophies of men; where the Lordship of Jesus is celebrated and God is the head of the Church and everyone submits to God. It is also the place where every member of the Church counts – no one is favored above the other and everyone is treated with respect and honor, no partiality in judgment, service, etc. That Church is also where you worship and serve God in truth and in spirit.

Impact Your Target Audience

God is the only one who truly impacts people, organizations, structures and nations. Therefore, to impact people, you have to be impacted by God and then God in you helps you to impact people to bring about the required positive change or transformation you want to see in people. Ultimately, this is what brings about fame.

It is God’s target audience for you whom you impact that takes you to the heights God has for you. The people you think are high up there that you patronize may not necessarily move you up the mark. I know people who rather than pursue the specifics of God’s plans and purposes for their lives, pursue connections to the famous, rich, those acknowledged and honored by society in the quest to move up the ladder of life. Significantly, that is where people always miss it. Stop running after the rich and famous so that you can be recognized in order to belong to their class. Instead, ask God to please, have mercy on you and forgive you, in Jesus mighty name, AMEN; so that He alone will help you get to the desired heights you seek.

Impact your target audience and God will promote you. The impact is to transform lives, not just routine products or services, not just different products or services, but products and services that IMPACT; that bring about positive transformation.

Swim Against the Tide 2

To start with, God is not the one opposing you in your journey to financial independence. It is the devil and his cohorts. Whoever, whatever comes out to attack you on your way to the land of promise is not of God and has no power over you as God has stripped them of all power to hurt you. Therefore, be determined to move forward. Dislodge the powers of darkness and opposition in prayers. If ever there was a time to pray it is now. Match them force for force and eliminate to dispossess them. Eliminate the opposition in prayers as the Apostle Paul did to the wild beasts of Ephesus. Prophesy the word of God to stem the satanic flood waters of financial lack so that you can destroy every opposition on your path, dispossess them and move on to the land of promise. Therefore, strike hard, eliminate them, dispossess them and move on to the land of promise on your knees.

Most likely, you will experience very fierce opposition even in prayers as you may not break through to God immediately, which is accessing the throne room of God. But keep asking God for mercy by the blood of Jesus Christ; confessing your sins and asking that the blood of Jesus Christ wipe away every handwriting that is contrary to you on account of whatever sin that the enemy may holding on to; to accuse you as well as to stop you from accessing the throne room to receive forgiveness, cleansing, healing and restoration in your finances.
