Seed Time and Harvest

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

It is always God’s design that we receive a harvest and usually the harvest is often more than the seed planted. Genesis Chapter 8 verse 22, Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verse 2, Philippians Chapter 4 verses 14 to 19, Galatians Chapter 6 verse 9. It is not a one way traffic of just giving but a two way traffic of giving and receiving. Please see Mark Chapter 4 verses 26 to 29 and Hebrews Chapter 4.

A major prerequisite of abundant harvests is planting of seeds. Seeds differ. A fertile soil is another major prerequisite for abundant harvests. The seed must also be quality seed. There is a relationship between water and abundant harvests. Water is one of the ingredients for nourishment and growth – Ezekiel Chapter 17 verses 5 to 8, 19 verse 10, Jeremiah Chapter 17 verse 8, Psalm 1 verse 3, Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 7, 11 verses 10 to 15, Leviticus Chapter 26 verses 4 to 5, 9 to 10, Job Chapter 14 verses 7 to 9, Psalm 68 verses 8 to 9, 104 verses 13 to 17, Numbers Chapter 24 verses 6 to 7. Patience is required for the seed to go through the processes required for the abundant harvests to come. Every planting begets harvests albeit abundant harvests. Please see Luke Chapter 6 verse 38, Genesis Chapter 49, Isaiah Chapter 22, Isaiah Chapter 35 verses 6 to 7, 41 verses 17 to 20, 43 verses 19 to 20, 44 verses 1 to 4, 32 verse 20, Ecclesiastes Chapter 11 verse 1. Other Scriptures on abundant harvests – Psalms 147 verses 8 to 9, 126 verses 5 to 6, 107 verses 35 to 38, 92 verses 12 to 15, 85 verse 12, 65 verses 9 to 13, 67 verses 5 to 6, 72 verse 8.

Build Financial Empires

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Financial empires do not happen overnight or in an instance. They are products of processes and long term planning. Your preoccupation should therefore be how to access the financial abundance God blessed you with so you can build financial empires. How you may ask? Be consciously and actively involved and engaged in money making activities. Do not assume. Do what has to be done legally and godly to earn an income. Produce and sell goods as in the case of the widow of the indebted prophet in 2nd Kings Chapter 4 verses 1 to 7, Lydia in Acts Chapter 16 verse 14, the virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31 verses 10 to 31, Aquila, Priscilla and the Apostle Paul who were tent makers in Acts Chapter 18 verses 1 to 3.

Know and understand the dynamics of whatever industry you operate in. Google how other people are selling their products and services and learn. Take the best practices especially what the Holy Spirit will have you learn and implement.

Set annual sales targets and try to exceed them.

Break annual sales targets to monthly, weekly and daily sales targets.

Develop and implement strategies for making such sales.

Ask God to help you exceed the targets.

Always Look at Value

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Effective leaders negotiate win/win agreements whenever possible; follow through on their commitments, whatever the cost. John Maxwell

Value is whatever brings positive additions to your life, enhances your brand and potentials for wealth and success. This implies that your associations, your knowledgebase, your assumed assets could be worthless if they have no value and do not attract any value. Even dresses worn by certain people attract value. Same goes for fashion accessories and even home accessories used by certain people.  Certain vintage cars also have value as their prices increase with the times. This makes it imperative for you, a creator of wealth to know and understand value so that you can always identify value, always seek value and entertain value. That way, you will always look at value. The Bible records in Genesis Chapter 13 verses 14 to 18 that Abraham lifted up his eyes as instructed by the Lord and he saw Canaan, the land of promise. Please see also Psalm 119 verse 37, verse 148 where David chose to look at the word of God. Job on the other chose not to look at what would make him lust after young women. Please see Job Chapter 31 verse 1.

Partner with Sound Minds 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Sound minds delegate. It is strength to delegate when you should. Jesus Christ delegated to His disciples. He sent them to preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons and raise the dead. The Apostle Paul delegated to his mentees. Delegation speeds up processes and saves time, a much limited resource. Additionally, you can achieve so much through delegation.

A sound mind knows when and how to initiate processes that move an organization; or businesses forward. The Bible describes Abigail as a woman of good understanding. She had the God given wisdom to manage Nabal and all of his character flaws; including his great love of wine and feasting. She could tell when he was drunk and always refrained from discussions with him (1st Samuel Chapter 25 verses 36 to 37). She was indeed a wise woman who did not allow Nabal’s foolishness to affect her and impact her life negatively. Abigail knew how and when to speak to him.

This is clearly demonstrated in her response to the servant who reported the incident between Nabal and the servants of David. Rather than complain or moan or wait for Nabal to arrive, the Bible records that she made haste to appease David and his men in order to save Nabal, herself and the entire household. The depth of her good understanding is revealed when she meets with David. First she bows to the ground in greeting David and then takes responsibility for Nabal’s offense. She apologizes and thanks David in advance for not avenging himself. She also tells David that God would avenge his enemies. She then presented her gift. She also begs David to remember her when God has avenged all his enemies. David was overwhelmed. What sane man would continue on the journey to annihilate Nabal and his household after Abigail’s great performance? None I believe but perhaps a Nabal.

So David thanked Abigail for her advice and received the gifts. By kind words and actions, Abigail saved her entire household from destruction.

Partner with Sound Minds

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Sound minds create wealth. There is a correlation between a sound mind, sound words, sound doctrine, sound speech and wealth. Please see 2nd Timothy Chapter 1 verses 7, 13, 4 verse 3, Titus Chapter 2 verse 8. Partnering with sound minds can take on different forms – organizational partnerships, individual partnerships, ministry partnerships, employee/employer partnerships, as well as engaging the services of vendors and artisans. It could also be delegation. No matter the coloration of partnerships, the persons must be skilled. Please see 1st Chronicles Chapter 25 verses 1, 7 (skilled ministers of music). They served under their father who was knowledgeable and who transferred the skills. They were also instructed in the songs of the Lord – they were knowledgeable and not ignorant.

David was a skilfull instrumentalist and was subsequently recommended to King Saul’s service. Please see 1st Kings Chapter 5 verse 6. The Sidonians were skilled in cutting timber and subsequently were invited by King Solomon to supply timber for the building of the temple and the King’s palace. Please see 1st Kings Chapter 7 verses 13 to 14. Huram was skilled in working with all kinds of bronze work. Please see 2nd Chronicles Chapter verses 6, 13 to 14.

Mental prowess should also be a major consideration in choosing partners. Partners who have intellectual prowess, people who think, who think issues through, who have analytical powers, who strategize, who proffer solutions – people like the Biblical Jethro, Joseph, Daniel, Abigail, the virtuous woman of Proverbs Chapter 31, the wise woman for her people skills are partners that would move your enterprise up the ladder of wealth and success any day.

Brand Your Self to Wealth 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You can also brand your way to wealth through your communication package. This is also a total package which comprises your body language, grooming, dressence, non verbal and verbal communication. Let your communication reflect the fact that you are on a journey to actually create and sustain wealth.
Be bold. Look people straight in the eye when discussing. Boldness also reflects in a person’s comportment, dress, speech, gait, etc. To be bold is to be brave and confident (not afraid to say what you feel or take risks. To be bold is not to be critical or judgmental. A genuine wealth creator is usually bold.

Indecision should not reflect in any form of your communication. When not certain or you do not have enough or accurate facts, say that you require more time to be sufficiently informed and be fast about getting the required information. Be decisive as indecision is not only a mark of weakness, but a clear indication that you either have no idea where you are headed or what you are doing. Do not keep wavering between two or diverse opinions or options while other people are busily engaged moving on. Take a decision and move forward.

Brand Yourself to Wealth

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Your brand is the sum total of your true worth, capabilities and influence.  This includes your contacts – all the people you know that can support your brand. Your brand is wealth worth billions if only you know what to do with the brand.

The role of relationships and partnerships in branding is very significant. The significance of right relationships in quality branding cannot be overemphasized. That is why you should engage in right relationships such as spiritually, physically, financially and mentally rewarding relationships that brand and position you strategically for wealth, success, honor and fame.

Spiritually rewarding relationships are relationships that build you, strengthen and enhance you spiritually. The greatest and best of such relationships that I can think of is your relationship with God through Jesus Christ and the indwelling Presence of God through the precious Holy Spirit. This relationship not only guarantees life in eternity with Jesus Christ (John Chapter 3 verses 1 to 5, 16 to 19); but knowledge, understanding and wisdom for daily living (Isaiah Chapter 48 verse 17); which ultimately leads to wealth and success.

An Idea Is an Empire

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

An idea is usually intangible. It starts as a thought and grows as an expanded thought. This implies that ideas are thoughts expanded through creative but strategic thinking processes. Such processes should ideally be dependent on the Holy Spirit. Thoughts expanded to ideas create with the word of God birthing businesses, scientific inventions and what have you.  This is to say that ideas which originated as a thought (s) in the hearts of men and women over time expanded to the institutions, technologies, innovations, fashion etc that bless humanity today. Therefore, think more, process thoughts, ideas, evaluate and reevaluate them, including the jobs at hand to see how you can convert them to empires. Review what you do, what has been done and how it can be improved upon to grow beyond what it is now to the empire God designed it to be from the foundation of the world.

Everything God created is designed to multiply because embedded in every creation of God is the capacity for fruitfulness. Even nature teaches us that fruitfulness leads to multiplication and in some cases compounding. In like manner, an idea that is well thought out; implemented in the right place, at the right time and with the right people definitely turns out right, blooms and flourishes beyond the original implantation stage to become an empire.

Be Enthusiastic About Making Money

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Money puts food on the table. Goodwill does not. Money pays the rent and utility bills. Goodwill does not. Money gives a good education. Goodwill does not. Therefore, work for money and not goodwill. Making money is not a sin. Abraham made money. Isaac made money. Jacob made money. Joseph made money. Nehemiah made money.

Jesus demonstrated the significance of making money and money management in the parables of the talents and the prodigal son. The Bible in both the old and new testaments supports money making and celebrates wealthy men and women such as Abraham, Isaac, Boaz, Job, Joseph of Arimathea, King Solomon, the virtuous woman described in Proverbs Chapter 31, King David and many others.  God is not against money making. What the Bible condemns is the love of money, greed and mammon worship, fraudulent means of making money like lying, cheating, duping other people of their hard earned money, bribery and robbery.

The virtuous woman described in Proverbs Chapter 31 made so much money from the work of her hands that she was able to buy land even in her days when there was so much gender discrimination. Even the skilled artisans mentioned in the Bible who received creative abilities in designing from God and who worked in the designing of the tabernacle in Exodus Chapter 36 and in the temple in 1st Kings were handsomely remunerated.

Sing Your Own Song

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You are the only one who can sing your own song the loudest. You are the only one who can celebrate yourself, your achievements, successes, your purpose and everything God created you to be. If you do not celebrate yourself, brand yourself and position yourself where you should be, chances are that no one will push you up there. Therefore, quit the facelessness, namelessness, I do not want to be in the news; I do not want to make front page stuff. FrontPage is where you should be, announcing to the world the products and services you have designed to bless humanity. I do realize that your products or services can be publicized without you necessarily being publicized. But say, is Bill Gates not a public face? How about Donald Trump, Richard Branson, Suze Orman, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zuckerberg and so many other people making money effortlessly? They all make front page news. I suggest you do the same. Get out of the back seat into the front seat. Quit being a backside lieutenant and become the frontline General God created you to be. You do not belong in the museum or archives while you are alive and well. The limelight and klieg lights is where you belong. Get moving and fast. Kill every reluctance and hesitation to advertise you as hiding in the backyard could militate against access to billions. Therefore, refuse to be bound to you are not good enough or your products and services are not good enough or you should not be celebrated.  Destroy such boundary limiting satanic thoughts and fears with a conscious and determined decision to improve and excel in every area where you are not good enough. Do a quick upgrade to excellence!

I can access, own and manage the divine billions God deposited in me through Christ Who strengthens me in Jesus mighty name, AMEN.

Look Beyond the Challenges

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Challenges are a constant reality of life. Most times, they come unannounced, throwing one off balance. But when they are properly scrutinized and processed, they become stepping stones. Therefore, do not panic, do not be afraid, and do not be intimidated. You can reign over any circumstance. God wants you to be on top of it. There is no room for docile, impassive and indifferent people. Every gazelle knows that it has to outrun the fastest lion in order not to be used for breakfast and every lion knows that it has to rise early enough to outrun the fastest gazelle in order to have breakfast.

The diligent make use of everything they find. Jesus Christ preached from a mountain top, used Peter’s boat and also taught in the synagogues owned and administered by the same Pharisees and Sadducees who opposed Him and sought to kill him. Please Matthew Chapter 4 verse 23, 5 verse 1, Luke Chapter 5 verses 1 to 3, and Proverbs Chapter 12 verse 27.  Jesus, the Son of the great I AM WHO I AM, says to you today, I AM ALL you need to come out of any situation that challenges you. I alone can give you the strength, the capacities, the wealth, the affluence that you require to overrule that situation. Please see how He did it for King David of Israel in Psalm 18.
